Get your bids in! New York based Bontrager Auction Services is currently hosting a special online auction featuring several original entrance elements from the former "Superman: Ride of Steel" attraction at Six Flags Darien Lake. These pieces, long associated with the park's landmark hypercoaster, are available to the public through Wednesday, December 10th. The items originate from the period when the amusement park held licensing rights to DC Comics properties and introduced its newest coaster under the "Superman: Ride of Steel" banner. Following a change in ownership, the park no longer retained those rights and the theming was removed along with the attraction being rebranded as "Ride of Steel". Despite the change, the coaster's footprint and reputation endured, making the original entrance features significant items for both longtime fans and collectors. Heading the offerings are the prominent Superman "S" shield entrance sign and several stainless-steel crystals inspired by the Fortress of Solitude that once framed the ride's gateway. These components became defining elements of the attraction's identity and remain recognizable to visitors who experienced the coaster during its Superman-branded era. Bontrager Auction Services notes that opportunities to acquire authentic, park-used pieces from major attractions are uncommon, and interest from collectors and themed-entertainment professionals is expected to be strong. Bidding is currently underway at BontragerAuction.hibid.com. https://bontragerauction.hibid.com/lot/276145531/darien-lake-superman--ride-of-steel---s-s--darien

Aqua Shoe vs Aqua Sock
Haymaker replied to SoCalJasonland's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Shoes is a keyword. Sellers will put it in there to draw more views of their product and broaden the selection presented to the buyer, even if they arent shoes. Waterproof oversocks might be a decent option too. -

I had a flip phone go flying from my pocket on the last turn of a SLC. Luckily someone saw it happen and grabbed it for me. -

Any age. We did a day at MK with my daughter when she was a year and 9 months old and i'll never forget the look on her face and her reactions when she met Mickey the first time. Plenty of rides she could do too. 40 inches is the first major benchmark for the majority of rides. Only a few are higher - RNRC (48), Space Mtn (44), FOP (44) and Everest (44)
