  1. This loading procedure needs to end. 20 minutes in line, 3 trains dispatched on Ride of Steel.
  2. Millennium Force Magnum - first hyper SFDL Viper - first 5 inversion coaster Ride of Steel - 1st Intamin hyper Loch Ness Monster - interlocking loops Moose on the Loose - self explanatory
  3. If you have a membership theres Skip the Line passes. Dont believe they have anything else for purchase. Last Friday I waited about 30 minutes for Blast Off, 30 minutes for Viper and 20 for Mind Eraser. With the non-sensical distancing rules, lines move very slow. Ride of Steel hadnt opened for the season yet as of about 3pm on Sunday. Id table it until they go full capacity on rides.
  4. Looked like standard wood to me but cant be 100% positive
  5. I rode it Sunday, back row of front car, leaning forward to keep my back off the seat. It was surprisingly tolerable with a lot of airtime. Theres some valley and hilltop repair and some trims at the end that I didnt remember being there before.
  6. Now is the time to care if theyre going to continue the stupid distancing rules. Youre next to these people for an hour in line, but can sit in the same car with them. Theyre sending out Tantrum with one party per car, which in the one case I saw Saturday was 1 person. One. Thank god that one has 2 trains at least.
  7. 2015 was the last time they did, on Viper. Mind Eraser still has the Frankentrain
  8. Well, disregard the refurb comment. RIP in peace Giant Wheel
  9. By omission it seems that Giant Wheel could be a refurb . This is a fancy way of saying were tearing out a ride. And as I type this, ROS is testing
  10. When we got in it was by that lamp shade. Not a terrible wait because theyre not filling the station.
  11. Sleighride refurb at night, no more nasty brown Shipwreck Falls water... yet 20210521_203443.mp4
  12. Darien Square is now gated. Motocoaster entrance is now inside this gate.
  13. Open. Didnt ride it and since the walkway to ROS was closed there was no way to tell if any track work was done without riding it.
  14. Overall, much of the same at SFDL. Long lines at member services, long food lines, long line for Viper, Frankentrain on ME, one party per car on Tantrum. Water in Shipwreck Falls was actually clear. The balloon ride in the kiddie section looks like itll be back. Silver Bullet, Motocoaster, Pirate and ROS were the rides I noticed not operating. Stupidest of all was leaving one side of Blast Off unused for "distancing". Even the ride op thought it was stupid. Tantrum also has a great view of Wahoo Wave.
  15. At the park for passholder preview. Ride of Steel, Motocoaster and Rolling Thunder are closed. Everything else appears open. A lot of new signs and paint. Giant Wheel is a barren eyesore.
  16. I only accept pierogi for apologies. lol
  17. But he was talking about Flying Turns and Impulse, not Phoenix and Twister.
  18. Read it again.... dont look thrilling. Doesnt mean I wouldnt try them, like them or anything else. Doesnt mean I wouldnt ever go there. On the contrary, I wish I had gone there when we were in Hershey. Just wouldnt pick those two over the other two, any time, anywhere.
  19. Having ridden StormRunner and SDL, but only watched POV's of the other 2, id go to Hershey. StormRunner is insanity and SDL is surprisingly smooth for its age. The other two, while cool and unique, dont look particularly thrilling to me
  20. No Laser Show either. From my cabin confirmation email.
  21. Besides the fact that most kids arent roaming the halls of Pop Century looking for unattended crispy bois lol
  22. And alcoholic ice cream isnt a new concept. Reminds me of the people in WDW groups on Facebook that cry "think of the children!" when people leave their leftover beers outside their door at checkout.
