I sometimes wish we could "like" posts like on Facebook. Robb is hilarious and correct. -
Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread

Mean Streak and Hurler are the two Woodies being RMC'd. Knott's is obviously getting a new coaster as well. That's three. We can all debate on where the fourth is going. And is Knott's getting the new coaster type or the renewed relationship. Personally I think Knott's is being the new type. It's WoF getting the renewed relationship? -
When I think of a renewed relationship I'm not picturing a flat ride relationship. That said, I would love a Hyper GTX. I haven't been on one of course, but the videos on YouTube look great. And I always loved the look of the old Arrow/ Morgan track and even the Vekoma track on Boom. And forget it is a hyper coaster after all, albeit a short one. The Chance website says it has a customizable layout. I wonder if they customize anything else like the height maybe.

And Vekoma's SLCs. Why not copy a quality manufacturer like Intamin or B&M or Larson? -

I agree 100%. I too hate these big phones. Reminds me of when you watch something from the 80s or 90s and the yuppy guys are carrying around the huge brick phones. Now you got these guys with a small computer strapped to their belts. I want something small enough that I can put in my pocket with my car keys and not know it's there. I take all videos and even photos sideways. With one hand. -

Ugh, yes...and the growing popularity of Snapchat is only adding fuel to the fire by essentially requiring it. I know sometimes it's easier to catch something happening quickly to just hold up the phone with one hand. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they just put black bars on the side instead of mirroring the blurry video on the sides. Or why not put a feature that allows you to hold the phone vertical but records horizontal widescreen video. -
You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

You might be a coaster nerd if... You have to ride every coaster you encounter during your travels, even mall kiddie coasters that charge $15 bucks to ride. -

Thank you, Robb! Geez nothing bugs me more. Except maybe when people can't hold it steady when filming disasters -

Whatever kind it is notice the gondola rotates. -

What kind of ride was it? I don't recognize it. It appears to me that the cables do everything. They pull the gondala up then something releases but the cables stay attached. Then the cables "catch" it and lower it down. At least Larson, Intamin and Funtine towers have magnets while S&S have an air cushion and spring plungers. This thing has nothing. The cables do everything and if they fail you're screwed. -
That looks like so much fun! Reminds me of the Will Bill Dinner Show they used to have in Buena Park. My cousin worked at Knott's for many years and we would go visit often. That's how Knott's became my favorite park by the way. While there we would always always work in a visit to Will Bill's. I don't know exactly when it closed down and became the pirate show, but boy was it amazing. Medieval Times just sucks in comparison. I've never been further east than Denver but I may just have to make a plan to visit Tennessee.
