RCT3: WonderWood
Jonathan replied to Jonathan's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Here are some screenshots of the park's second wooden coaster, still under construction. Once I am completely finished with the track I will go back and put back all of the trees that were removed. Most of the ride should be low to the ground and between the trees. The finale section dives under the midway a few times. There are 10 underground tunnels. S-turn by the river at the end of the ride. The coaster will be around 8,500 feet long, with 35-40 seconds of airtime. -

The parking lot is just regular land with the asphalt coloring. The cars are scenery objects included with the game; same goes for the misters in the tunnel. The lights on the track are activated by default whenever you make a coaster underground, and you can select what color you want them, or turn them off. -

New favorite now. "Chopping Mall" http://imdb.com/title/tt0090837/ Nothing will ever top it. Ever.

Am I allowed to do things like assasinate Hitler and save John Lennon? -
That's not how Audio Scrobbler works at all, actually... But anyway, like 99% of the internet, there is no point.

I thought it might be interesting to have a Theme Park Review group on Last.fm (Audio Scrobbler), so I created one. http://www.last.fm/group/Theme%20Park%20Review I know a lot of people on here already use Audio Scrobbler, and if you don't, it's pretty easy. Just sign up at audioscrobbler.com and then download a plug-in for whatever media player you like to use. We need to get at least 10 people signed up so that it will compile charts weekly. 8) The weekly TPR chart:

After seeing Final Destination 3, you may be scared to ever spend your money to see a movie again. -
It's really hard for me to pick just one, but since you've forced me, I'll say "Brazil".

Jonathan's RCT3 POV Video Thread
Jonathan replied to Jonathan's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yeah, I would like to make a video highlighting the whole park, but it's hard to get good video because it takes so long to render it using the in-game tool. To get the POV I just left it running while I was out of the house, and when I came back I had 13 minutes of completed video ready for me, and I cut the POV out of it. -
Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Beech Bend, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. Sounds like it should be awesome, and considering how impressed I was by their last two efforts, Thunderhead and Ozark Wildcat, I am really looking forward to this! Plus, it's not too far up the road from Holiday World and The Voyage. Damn nice job with the color and all of the details. That's some high quality stuff. You look like you are enjoying that shower quite a bit.

This is a total ripoff, but it was a good idea so I don't mind stealing it, and it proved to be a good temporary cure for boredom as well. My bed is on a loft, so I am forced to get out of bed to turn off my alarm clock. I try to reach it but fail miserably. After getting up, hitting sleep on the alarm clock, and getting back in bed, I repeat the process a few times. After turning my alarm clock off for good, I get back in bed and oversleep. Having taken a shower and eaten breakfast, I fall asleep on the floor. As usual, I fail to find a route to work that avoids road construction. My key card is deactivated for no reason, and I am locked out of the building. Doing some fun accounting stuff. Having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at my desk for lunch. Self explanatory. The NC DOT website is wrong and I once again get stopped in construction traffic. Once home, I fall asleep on the floor. Repeat as needed.

I started to do one of these a moment ago, then realized that my computer here at work is so crappy that MS Paint can only save in bmp format.
