^Pretty sure I had nightmares about that last night. Awesome report. I haven't been to CP since 2000, really should plan a visit there again at some point. I'm going to try to get to Kennywood this year, it's one of my favorite parks and it has been awhile since I visited. dt

Looking at the schedule, it seems they're showing new movies on Thursdays now (there's something called BLAST VEGAS coming up!). I'm thinking they're just doing this for the summer, as people are not around as much on weekends. I do prefer these on Saturday nights, though! dt

Sucks that they had to close the area down on the 4th, but it sounds like it had become a serious safety hazard. Like someone in the article said, if the tower had fallen, it would have been a big disaster. dt

I was there a few years ago when there was a Jonas Brothers show that night in the stadium. My advice for this day is STAY AWAY! The crowds were horrible, you could barely walk around the place, and the park was full of screaming pre-teen girls. I'd put off any visit until after this ends if you have the chance to do so. I was amazed by this as well. It's obvious this company has a commitment to performer safety. I'm sure the show will be closed for awhile while they conduct an investigation. dt
