I love drop towers, so I'm really interested in this. And so long, Rotting Lumber. I'm sure local spinal surgeons are crying today, as their patient load will be dropping drastically once this ride closes... dt

Moving this ride from SFGAm to SFA is a good idea (it's a much better fit) and Flyers rule. I can't help but think though that without a massive commitment to customer service and guest safety, combined with a massive PR campaign letting area residents know that this park isn't the "old" SFA, that they're going to continue to struggle in this market. Like it or not, this park has a poor reputation, especially when compared to other parks in a 3 or so hour drive. They really need to convince most of MD that it's worth visiting and spending your money there. dt

I really liked this park the one time I visited. Sucks that Iron Rattler was closed for your visit, but at least the park made an effort to make it up to the group. Ice Bat & I greatly approve of this. Actually, I'm stunned anyone even reads my reports. This may inspire me to post a new one... dt

There's nothing at all wrong with Formal Nights, and I really hope other lines don't dumb then down. I'm not surprised by Klassy Karnival not enforcing dress codes, as the average attendee on one of their death ships is likely not to own anything more formal than an unwashed NASCAR t-shirt. But I really hope this is not a trend that expands beyond their "Wal-Mart Of The Seas" ideology. And as far as not being able to have fun while dressed up, this is oh so wrong. Our group dinners out here in Baltimore for fine dining are certainly fun, with the waitstaff often remarking things like, "that was the most amusing discussion about medical experiments we've ever heard". We do tip well, of course, in case anyone needs to see a therapist afterwards... dt
