  1. Martin - you have now incurred the wrath of the Dippin Dots Lady. NO more new coaster information for you!!
  2. Thanks for the photos. Hope you had a lovely day.
  3. Luckily - mine is older and a bit lazy. The Shepherd puppy, however is another story entirely. She's a year and a half old, 80lbs of just plain crazy. I love her and she provides hours of mindless entertainment, but I'm eagerly waiting the day where she calms down and becomes lazy like her older "sister." ^ Eric - Chinchillas are soooooo cute. I remember being at a petting zoo once and having one sitting on each shoulder. I jokingly said that I now understood why they would make good ear-muffs and the lady at the petting zoo quickly took them away from me . FYI - I'd never make a chinchilla into ear-muffs, but perhaps that joke was in bad taste givien my location at the time.
  4. I have a Pembroke Corgi named Trinity and she is a riot! She beats the crap out of her "little" sister - our German Shepherd (who is an 80lb puppy) I'll post some pics of them with their kitten, Oscar when I get home and get my hands on the camera.
  5. Ya think? They actually took almost all of the women's roles out of the movie. The "eye-candy" on screen was much more entertaining than the re-worked plot.
  6. You know - the idea of having a coaster or coasters racing through the structure sounds REALLY cool. Maybe call them Grandsons of Beast? And, we all know, there is PLENTY of structure to race through and around.
  7. ^ Yeah - it was nice seeing her character have a range of emotion other than bi#?h. I thought the scene between her and Mercedes was very sweet.
  8. ^^^, ^^ & ^ - Welcome to the Family
  9. That's awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
  10. Can't wait for the Olivia Newton John cameo next week. Last night was great with Kurt and Mercedes getting solos, and anything with Kristen Chenowith is AWESOME, but it was odd that Rachael didn't have any solos.
  11. I'm totally stoked about the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I loved the original, and the previews of this look pretty darned good. If it sucks - I will be devestated.
  12. They do it in all good fun. Now, I can't say the same thing for people in line because I know most of them get mad. As I said in another post, they need to get rid of Flash Pass. On weekends when they only have 1 train, it makes the wait in line twice as long. On top of that I don't think it's fair unless you have rides where there are multiple trains, to put in an express line or a single rider line. In conclusion I think everyone should have to wait in the same line. It looks a bit unorganized when you are exiting the station and there are a tone of flash pass people in your way, on top of that non-riders who got stuck holding possessions of people who did not put their stuff in fluffy, fluffy bunnies filled with medicine and goo. WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!! Are you serious? Are you even remotely suggesting that it's 'a funny joke' that the employees call attention rudely to FlashPass users and give them poo-poo, then encourage the GP to give them poo-poo also!??! Trust me, the employees were not being funny, they were encouraging the GP to get in fights and yell and curse at people who used Flash Pass. Wow, you deserve SFA as your home park! Good luck with that! I'll agree with Elissa here. Their behavior was completely unacceptable, and certainly not in good fun. It's been a couple of years ago now, and I hope that they have improved this. I really wanted to like this park, and like so many others with the TPR group, I saw a lot of potential that wasn't being used at that time. But really, when a group of 100 theme park enthusiasts vote to leave early to get to the next destination, something is not right. I'm glad to hear that things appear to have improved and I truly hope that this trend continues. Before I get jumped on, I'm not bashing the park - just relaying my PERSONAL experience and NOTE: I would like to see good things for this park. D.
  13. Thanks for these photos Hanno! I always love your perspective from parks. Heck - we've been on MANY of the same trips, but whenever I read and look at your trip reports, I see the park in a completely different light. Great pictures as always. David
  14. Thanks for posting these! I remember the Fort Worth zoo from about a decade ago. Looks like they have done some great work!
  15. I enjoyed it so much, I'll probably watch it again tonight.
  16. ^ Will do. If people could see the absolute crap in my netflix queue, they would be aghast! Nothing like dinner and a bad movie with friends. If you get the chance, I'd recommend Poultreygueist: attack of the chicken Dead. AWESOME.
  17. And all of the "incarnations" of Madonna walking down the hallway during the Mash Up! Great touch.
  18. "...when I pulled my hamstring I went to a misogynist."
  19. Jojo - you might remember my ABS OF STEEL fascination. I might just add these "gems" to my netflix queue. David
  20. ^the flyers were fast, but ran a pretty short cycle. I am completely unable to snap a flyer - (couldn't do it if my life depended on it) but I think they are "snappable." D
  21. We had a great day at Wild Adventures that day. Very nice to see you Eric. Cheetah was amazing, and I rode it around 8 times. My last trip to the park - it was a "one-timer." The park looks great, the staff was nice, the food was great...all around a wonderful day at the park.
  22. I woke up this morning dreading work today, but then remembered that Glee is on tonight - all better now.
  23. The Sue Silveseter "Vogue" was AMAZING! I love this show SO much.
  24. ^ Atlanta traffic is Science Fiction Bad. I lived there until 11 years ago, and remember a 7 mile drive taking an hour. I still get up there several times a year to visit the folks, and am still aghast at the poor driving, etc...
  25. Oh dear god - Sea Snakes? This is AWESOME! The incredible acting range of Luke Perry is astounding. The men are complaining about the COLD? I'd be complaining about all the snakes on the sub.
