Considering that view is almost entirely from the other side of the lake it doesn't bother me much, just like seeing the show building from Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure doesn't bother me. When you're standing at the entrance of Hogwarts Castle or walking along Hogsmeade you don't see the show building. To me that's the most important part of the experience is that when you're in the middle of it there is nothing to indicate that it is just a facade. If I'm not standing in the land at the time, seeing the show building doesn't really make a difference for my experience at that moment.

Gardaland Discussion Thread

You have to wonder if Gardaland gets a special deal by bulk ordering white coaster paint... Regardless, this will surely be a solid addition to an already nice lineup of coasters for the park! -
Unless you're sitting in the board meetings where they've discussed their plans for Gwazi, how do you know for sure? Speculation is fine but there is no reason to accuse others of blatantly ignoring you. Has Busch Gardens ever had to replace any parts of the Gwazi structure besides the track? To claim that the coaster itself is deteriorating is too broad a generalization. Sure the track is beat up and warped from years of PTC train abuse but do we have any confirmed way of knowing that the rest of the structure isn't viable enough to be re-utilized? Do I believe that Gwazi will be saved? No. Do I know with certainty what Busch Gardens has in store for that plot of land. I don't know of anyone that does. We're free to speculate but until Busch Gardens announces something or we see a wrecking ball take down the structure, I'd imagine nothing is officially off of the table. Remember when everyone was 100% certain that Cheetah Hunt was going to be called Cheetaka and the concept art files even were titled as such? The ride was announced with a totally different name and everyone that was 100% sure was proven 100% wrong. Let's take this a lesson and wait and see what happens--friendly speculation is welcome.

I'm so glad to see that Dan and his team are working so hard to bring back Rampage. It is one of the most memorable wooden rollercoasters I've ever been on (mostly because of the beating I took riding it for ERT for 1.5 hours on the Deep South trip). The layout is really fantastic as it is, so I can only imagine what the ride will be like when it is fully retracked!

^^There is a slight drop at the beginning of the ride that is probably 15-25 feet, but not overly intense. The drop is at and angle and falls in a traditional coaster fashion after a non-traditional track tilting section does its thing. The drop is more like what you'd find on Space Mountain or even Revenge of the Mummy and nothing like a vertical drop segment like on Verbolten or Thirteen. There is a simulated drop later in the ride that looks like you are falling a great distance but in reality you have barely changed elevation much if at all. Exact stats on the ride have yet to be release and won't likely be anytime soon.
