  1. I'll start holding my breath until this opens...
  2. I love how much ignorance that guy's comments show. "We're not blind and we're not deaf..." Followed by "Yeah, you have to wait a little bit, but so what?” Makes me think they are both blind and deaf to the feedback. Saying "so what" to critical response is hardly active listening.
  3. ^Unique like an RMC/Tilt Coaster/Aquatrax?

  5. http://www.usj.co.jp/e/attraction/att_detail/the-wizarding-world-of-harry-potter.html A stylized map of the expansion... It should be noted that there is no revealed path to get from Hogsmeade or Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey to the announced Flight of the Hipogriff coaster, so there might be more details still to be announced. This Hogsmeade will echo what the one found in Florida used to look like with both Zonkos and Honeydukes. Zonkos has since closed to make way for an expansion of Honeydukes in Florida. The Hogsmeade plaza looks mostly the same, including the entrance arch to Dragon Challenge, just with a currently closed gate. Another store will take the place Ollivander's on the right side of Hogsmeade. Notable differences in Hogsmeade at Universal Studios Japan include the swapping of Ollivader's to the other side of the street. The Frog Choir/Tri-Wizard Champions show stage appears to be a carbon copy of the original stage built in Florida's Wizarding World, which was later replaced with an elevated stage. In Florida this back corner includes a snow man and a butter beer cart, along with an entrance/exit leading to Jurassic Park. Here, the space currently appears to be open.

  8. I went ahead and moved this into our games forum since it is not a news related item. But with all the blue sky ideas in this forum, you'll likely get some great feedback for your project! Best of luck!
  9. Polin has sent us a press release regarding the opening of Cowabunga Bay Las Vegas.
  10. Gonna go ahead and lock this so the conversation can continue on in the existing thread.
  11. ^I went to Studios on Thursday and used Fastpass+ for the first time. I scheduled Fastpasses for Star Tours, Tower of Terror and Fantasmic. Combined with those Fastpasses, we were able to do Star Tours three times, Tower of Terror twice, Rock n' Rollercoaster twice, the Backlot Tour once, Muppetvision once, Toy Story Mania once, One Man's Dream, lunch at Mama Melrose and Fantasmic... All after first arriving at the park at 11:30 am. So while I couldn't hold a FP for both Midway Mania and Fantasmic at the same time (not that I have ever been able to before), I still managed to get a lot done, mostly while waiting in the standby line... So I don't understand why people are so burned by this. Either I was doing something totally different than everyone else, or all the naysayers are doing something seriously wrong with their time management. Fastpass for Fantasmic! seems to work very cleanly based on what I say on Thursday. Fastpass guests get early access to enter and basically first dibs at nearly half of the amphitheater (a large chuck of the other side is reserved for dining packages). Fastpass guests get the middle to left side and standby guests get about 25% of the right side of the theater. Standby is allowed in to fill that space until the seating is filled, then they halt the standby line. Fastpass and dinner package guests continue to file in until roughly ten minutes before the show starts, which is when the remaining standby line guests are allowed in to fill any remaining seats as well as all standing room available. It worked very efficiently from what I could tell, but it definitely seemed worthwhile to get a Fastpass for the show, or to get in the standby line as early as possible.
  12. Like you said, nothing changed there... So what's the problem?
  13. That right there is a contraption worthy of the name "Laser Snake Horse on Fire!"
  14. ^Thank you! It really depends on when you travel, what length cruise you pick and what stateroom category you choose. The numbers are always shifting so your best bet would be to call Disney Cruise Line for accurate pricing and options.
  15. ^It was referenced in the original article that was in the post, but the park's official press release did not reference them, so we've amended the thread subtitle. We'll be sure to post any official news of new hotels if it is released.
  16. Pretty sure Hard Rock Park will reopen before that ever happens.
  17. That is one gorgeous contraption! And it looks like it'll be a fun coaster too!
  18. I'm a big fan of the franchise and was highly underwhelmed by the Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift experience that used to be on the Studio Tram Tour. It is nice to see the park finally taking advantage of the franchise's popularity, and if this is anything like Kong 360, it will be a solid addition. As for Springfield, I'm an outspoken fan of the one here in Orlando, so the notion that it will have even more than the one here is incredibly exciting! I'm seriously thinking about revisiting the park during my next visit to California, considering just how much will have changed since my last visit in 2010!
  19. ^Ten days at the Tokyo Disneyland would be well worth it.
  20. ^They're REALLY gonna make the credit whores work hard to get that one!
  21. ^The teacup-looking booths in Enchanted Garden do not rotate. They definitely look like they were designed with that capability in mind, but neither the one on the Disney Dream or the Disney Fantasy ended up having anything enabled to allow rotation of the booths to happen.
  22. Xpress got some nice new launch theming! Too bad I hear Aerosmith playing in my head while watching that POV!
  23. The big question is, will this be RMC topper track or just a retracking of the ride by Gravity Group or GCI? Rocky Mountain Construction topper track would make this ride infinitely better!
