  1. ^^^This is a scanned copy of one of the passholder mailings sent out via snail mail. ^I guess we'll find out when the preview happens... If it's not in print, I don't think they intend on ruining the surprise prematurely.
  2. ^I don't believe they've ever announced a preview that would take place before the grand opening for passholders. Traditionally, Busch Gardens does something similar to this with a period of ERT each weekend for pass holders after the opening itself. They did it for Sheikra when it opened, and again when Sheikra went floorless a few years later.
  3. Knott's Berry Farm has sent us a press release regarding their upcoming Gospel Showcase.
  4. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment has sent us a press release about the formation of their new film division, the launch of their first movie title and their commitment to a lessened environmental impact in the parks.

  6. (Continued) This section will be the Cars-themed wing. Notice the back of the Ornament Valley facade that will adorn the building's front. This wing was built from scratch. This land was originally intended to be the next phase of the Pop Century Resort, known as the Legendary Years. A look down the bridge at the Art of Animation Resort. One wing of the Legendary Years was actually built at the same time as the rest of the Pop Century Resort. The inside and external theming remained bare up until recently when it became an incorporate section of the upcoming Art of Animation Resort. When it is finished, you'll never know that this was supposed to be a part of the Pop Century Resort. Another wing just recently went vertical. There's still plenty of work to be done here. Another look at Ornament Valley. The main lobby for the Art of Animation Resort was already built for the Legendary Years, but is currently being reutilized to become a part of the new resort. A look back towards Pop Century. Awaiting a new coat of paint... I'm sure it'll look amazing when complete. Pop! Everything Pop! is a food court with a ridiculously large amount of meal choices. I decided to try the chef special of the day. Yum! *drools* And some healthy options to finish off with...
  7. (Continued) Hidden details... The last of the paint work remains at the base of Tower of Terror. This lobby still amazes me... Though I really love the one at DisneySea even more. We're arrived in the library, just in time it seems... Twilight Zon. 1.21 JIGAWATTS?!?! This, as you may recognize is a maintenance service elevator, still in operation, waiting for you. We invite you to step aboard if you dare, because in tonight's episode, you are the stars. And this elevator travels directly to, the TWILIGHT ZONE! Not sure if anyone realized this, but after the Summer Nightastic! modifications were made, the camera effect in this scene was retained to allow for the old eyeball effect on the 13th floor to work again. Note: I didn't use the flash on my camera. I just happened to take the picture as the flash was going off from the room's own cameras. They've disappeared! Disappeared, disappeared! Back, back! Over the falls! Where'd the window go? This still is the best "wow-factor" moment in any Disney ride, anywhere. The gates to another dimension are about to open... Fun fact (as explained to us on the Backstage Magic Tour): The pickle jar was place placed here accidentally by a construction worker on his lunch break while the room's props were being glued in. The pickle jar was never removed and became a part of the scene for good. As you haven't seen this photo before. Another look at the lobby... Elegant or angry? You decide. Detailed wood work in the queue. An unknown soldier and cannon in the library. Crack! Shatter! And this is what a closed Tower of Terror looks like. Villains in Vogue has become the home of a sizable collection of Vinylmations. Do you know where we are now? Any idea yet? This should be a dead giveaway. Disney's Pop Century Resort has a great arcade. They have this contraption... And this thingy... And virtual credits! The Mowgli & Baloo statue is being worked on. Construction on Disney's new Art of Animation Resort is well under way. The construction base is set up on this side of the lagoon.
  8. (Continued) A classic... "Halt, nonbeliever!" "Disturb the gem and suffer the Pharoah's curse!" "Warned ya!" Casavablanca. Not a real aeroplane. I have a feeling we're not in Casavablanca anymore... Who wears a planting pot for a hat? Who killed my sister? Was it you? Very well! I'll bide my time... But try to stay out of my way. Just try! I'll get you my pretty! And your little dog too! Cue accidental actress burns... This ride is so accurate, to the T! Gum, num num, nominal! Fun fact: There are actually two Shield Bunkers at Star Tours. One is the home to the Jedi Training Academy, and the other is a remnant of the old Endor Vendors facade, the store that predated Tatoinne Traders. See you in Brooklyn! While the meet & greet is being refurbished, Tow Mater is out and about on the Streets of America. Hiya Dave! Rabble! Rabble! Rabble! A rare case of Green Eye. A section of Sunset Boulevard is being refurbished. Details. One of my favorites! The On the Road booth by Rock n' Rollercoaster has updated its collection to include recent soundtrack releases. It wouldn't be a proper Roth Report without a panoramic photo somewhere in the mix. Time for some Larry love! Details. Have I ever mentioned how much I love this queue? "I love that idea!" New merch! Ignore Bryan for a second and notice the Hanes posters running along the exit path. Making beautiful music with art and coasters. I had never noticed this before... Where are we now?
  9. A few days ago, Bryan and I decided to go back to Disney's Hollywood Studios (yes, that means that a new Bryan and Adam Show episode is on the way) and to stop by the Pop Century Resort to eat, walk around and see the progress on the upcoming Art of Animation Resort. Take a look and see what we found! And we're back at Disney's Hollywood Studios! In preparation for the return of Star Tours (and Star Wars Weekends), Sounds Dangerous has closed once again. Where in the World can you find this? In Wisconsin, of course! I miss you guys! Oh you Californians... We had it first! Street entertainment... Park VP, Rilous Carter was out and about, touring the Star Tours area and talking to guests. It looks nice with the wall down, right? The new attraction marquee is now up! The new, old logo is now in place. The studios theme is still upheld, although far more subtly here. It has been rumored that cast members are to act knowledgeable of the attraction while outside of the main queue, but once inside, they are supposed to be in full character, acting like Walt Disney World does not exist, and guests are truly in the bustling Star Tours spaceport. This will soon become the Fastpass sign. The Jedi Training Academy continues to operate as normal. Here he comes... All too easy! Have you seen this enough yet? Time to go where we haven't gone in a while. Time to test out some new settings on the camera! It's time for a footlight parade! Hard to believe this whole ride could have ended up in Future World at Epcot. Cagney, Cagney, Cagney... It is more rare these days to see the Western heist... But there really are some great details in the mob scene. Like steam pipes! "So long, ya chumps!" Clint Eastwood should re-grow his beard. No fire today, folks! This is Alien. You are aboard the space-ship, No-Stro-Moh. With Sigourney Weaver. NO-STRO-MOH!

  12. ^If you could please post the link where that came from so the source is properly cited, it would much appreciated. And who knows, something like this could even be front page material if the source is listed.
  13. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/05/paradise-pier-transformation-to-be-complete-july-1/ http://d23.disney.go.com/articles/050211_NF_FS_SnapshotsFromUnderTheSea.html http://ocresort.ocregister.com/2011/05/05/disney-sets-opening-date-for-restaurant-complex/77295/ Ethan Reed, senior show animator, gives master Disney animators Glen Keane, Mark Henn, and Andreas Deja a first glimpse at the "Kiss the Girl" scene in the The Little Mermaid — Ariel's Undersea Adventure. Ethan worked countless hours on getting the movements between Prince Eric and Ariel just right. Imagineer Larry Nikolai guides animators Andreas, Mark, and Glen through the still-under-construction attraction. Andreas, Mark, and Glen in awe with how beautifully the Imagineering team translated their carefully crafted and beloved animations into an immersive attraction. Glen, Mark and Andreas share stories about the production of the animated feature with the Imagineering team. Mark Henn holds one of the Imagineer's early renderings of the attraction. Glen Keane is all smiles during the behind the scenes tour of the attraction. He looks forward to taking his granddaughter on the ride as soon as it opens. Andreas meets an old friend, shouting, "He's alive!" Andreas was the lead animator of King Triton and was thrilled to see the character come to life off the screen and paper.
  14. ^As of right now, the meet and greet features the normal Mickey and Minnie, with no talking at this point. That could change in the future, but at least for now, I was wrong about that one.
  15. ^Not sure what's strange about it, but I was there on Friday, which is when these photos were taken.
  16. ^Treason I say! High treason! And for that, we must go someplace that Bryan could never go. Find that place, and we will be there.
  17. ^I would consider it... And yes, I would do the Titanic experience... Haven't done it yet, so I'm open to giving it a try.
  18. I do NOT approve! I hereby decree that the next episode of Erik & Smisty's Florida Oddventures will have 250% more Adam and 5000.33333% less Bryan. My will be done.
