6. Looking back. I cant believe I waited 2 1/2 hours for this! It was really wild, fast, and never gave me a second to breath. I went on with my twin and little sister, and it was a great experience! But having "Eejanaika" chanted in your ears for 2 hours wasn't fun! But, this was my 100th coaster, so it made all the difference! -Dainan "I need to ride X now" Rafferty
7. I still miss going on Galaxy Express 999 after a long day! My brother and I would leave my mom at the hotel and we'd just walk up the block and we were there. And I still think Thunder Dolphin is the best hyper coaster I've been on...I guess I'm stupid . Have a great trip guys. And ride Space Mountain for me...and my favorite ride ever, Journey To The Center for me too. -Dainan "I'm just upset Space was closed when I went to TDL" Rafferty

11. People Me Anthony Anthony P (Medusa Dude) Walter (Cruxis) Jackie (Kingda Ka on Fire) Paul (Kingda Ka Ryder 4 Life) AJ (SROS1fan) Tom (Thomaskelly427) Jeff (supermandros16) Personal Ride List Dragon Coaster 3x Zombie Castle 1x Crazy Mouse 1x Double Shot 1x Super Flight 2x Ye Old Mill 1x Starship 2000 1x Flying Witch 1x Power Surge 1x Family Flyer 1x Derby Racer 1x Quote of the Day: Jackie: "They should make a sex themed theme park!" Trip Report: The trip started with Anthony, Water, Jackie, Anthony P, Paul and I meeting at Grand Central to take Metro North up to Rye Playland. We did the package...but, it seemed like the Ride Card was a gyp! When we did get to the park, I called AJ, and he told us to just go in, and he'll meet us. So we went on the Dragon Coaster first. We sat in the middle, and I got stapled. The Morgan trains don't help much, but this coaster is under rated. None the less, it's over rated too. But it was a fairly fun coaster. It's a great wooden coaster from the family. While we got off, we saw AJ at the exit. Anthony, Paul, Anthony P, AJ and I then went on Zombie Castle. It was probably one of the coolest Dark Rides I've been on. It was very eventfull and unique. After that we went over to Crazy Mouse where AJ didn't ride and Walter was told he was too tall! Well...it's a Zamperla Zig Zag, so as allways, it was very rough! After that, Walter, Jackie, Anthony, Anthony P, Paul and I went on Double Shot. Okay...tell me where the double shot part of the ride was? It only shot up once, and the airtime was minimum! It was the saddest excuse for an S&S Tower. So...we all went over to Super Flight. They told me I couldn't bring my fanny pack on, so I said, "Hey! Let's just go in groups. One group goes on now, and the other group goes on next!" So...I exit, and stand by the ride. Wait a little bit and wonder where they went, and the next thing I knew, they all went on with out me! I filmed them, and laughed, but WTF!?!? I said take turns, not leave me by myself! So they all were done, and I dragged Anthony P on with me. Well...here's an other ride Zamperla shouldn't make! The ride was one of the roughest coasters I have ever been on! I seriously hated it! It beat me up so bad, and I had the biggest head ache when I got off! We then went on Ye Old Mill, which I personally loved, though Anthony, Paul, Walter and Jackie didn't...I don't even want to think about what was going on in there boat! We then took forever to get food because we couldn't decide on a place. We then finally got food and sat at a picnic bench for at least an hour talking about the most...appropriate stuff. We then went and rode Starship 2000, which is a Gravitron. It was fun, but Anthony and Paul said it was too much pressure on there lungs. AJ and Anthony P, just sat out. After that we met up with Tom and Jeff! While they were getting wrist bands, Paul, Jackie, and I went on Power Surge. This is the only on I went on where the arm didn't rotate. Jackie and I went backwards facing Paul, and we didn't flip much. I think we may of only flipped once...it was really a downer! Next, we all (excluding Jackie and Walter) went on the Dragon Coaster. Everyone was scattered on the train, but AJ and I got the 2nd row. This ride is still fun. And I got some serious ejector on the hill into the turn around after the tunnel. AJ and Jeff then went to get there credit on Super Flight, which wasn't too bad this time. I sat in the middle of the car....so it was ALOT better. We then went on Derby Racer. This was like a Carousel on CRACK! It was really good, but I feel that it needs some more comfortable seats! Paul, Walter, Jackie, and I went on Family Flyer...the third, and final Zamperla coaster of the day! It was really funny when we got on. The attendant came to me and said, "You look fimiliar! Do you make alot of roller coaster videos?" It was kind of funny...except when he mentioned he was staring at me in line...creepy. But as for the ride, it was the smoothest Zamperla Family Coaster I've ever been on! After that, we walked around and just talked, and did some filming. Jeff, Tom, Paul, Anthony and Paul went on the Flying Witch. It was okay...not as great as Zombie Castle, but still good! We then took a final round on the Dragon Coaster (Tom and I sat in the back, and I got some sweet air on the first drop) and then we left! All and all, it was a great day! Photos: Anthony P, Anthony, Jackie and Walter on the Metro North train going to Rye! Paul and I on the train! I feel welcomed! I love the traditional feel of this park! Walter and Jackie waiting for the park to open! I tried to get a nice shot of Paul, Anthony, and Anthony P, but they turned around! Fountain O' Doom! Welcome to Playland The Dragon Coaster was better than I expected The first drop is the only real steep part to the ride! It's still a nice classical ride! "GARRR! I'm an angry dragon! Feed my GP!" Walter was not amused by the Crazy Mouse! We weren't amused by this piece of crap either! Speaking of crap. Prepare to die! Anthony P, Anthong and Paul in great pain! AJ, Walter and Jackie on the only "smooth" part of the ride. Me and Anthony P on Super Flight! (Look at my face!) We just loved Super Flight! How convenient! Hey AJ! It'a amazing that you were able to deal with us all day! When we realized that money was an issue! We resorted to eating/drinking ketchup! AJ being an enthusiest! Playland Plunge RUN AWAY! Power Surge sucked, end of story! Anthony, Anthony P, Jackie and Paul on Derby Racer AJ, Tom, Me and Jeff This shot was good Anthony says, "Ride em' Cowboy!" We actually look like we are really racing! Family Flyer is a Zamperla Family Coaster Credit whoring is always fun! Jeff and Tom after Zombie Castle Tom and Jeff on the Crazy Mouse Okay...let's try it normal this time! ZAMPERLA! Group Shot after a nice day! Top: Jackie, Walter, Me, Paul, and Tom Bottom: Jeff, AJ, Anthony and Anthony P -Dainan "Was a great day! Expect a video soon" Rafferty
12. That's nice ...so have u never have a boyfriend? Kind of...yes. Me and Chris (coasterfreak11892 on Youtube) at El Toro in May. At the time, we weren't going out. I was with my ex-girlfriend. The reason it's not an official relationship yet, is because I'm still heart broken over my ex Amanda (Queenda Ka x...she posts here), and I'm not ready for a relationship yet. But when I am. It's him. So for now, I'm technically single, but Chris isw my boyfriend! -Dainan "Does this make sence?" Rafferty
13. I came out to my mom today! I told her I liked guys, and that I'm probably going to have a boy friend very soon... -Dainan ".....she wasn't suprised " Rafferty
14. Mind Eraser at Six Flags America -Dainan "I was forced to " Rafferty
15. Me being "artsy" in DC. Being straight up G with the Wright Brothers! My brother, me, my mom, and Pebbles being...us Me and Pebbles being goofy at the White House! Rafferty
16. My theory, God hates Geauga Lake ! But seriously, this trend is scaring me. I hope you're right about a big plan. And CF has owned GL since 2004, so 3 years! -Dainan "It could be CF attracting more to CP in Ohio" Rafferty
17. There's a view I had to skip because they were closed or I was too tall. But I've skipped/been forced to skip due to time: -Woodstock Express, Dorney Park -Wild Mouse, Fujikyu Highlands -Hamtaro Coaster, Fujikyu Highlands -Roller Dunkin' something, Fujikyu Highlands -Dodonpa, Fujikyu Highlands -Dainan "I think those are the only ones" Rafferty
18. The power outage actually seems like a great experience. I like the Maverick video. I've used that song in an old video of mine! I think we are the only two to use that song . -Dainan "I hope to be on the Eastcoast trip" Rafferty
19. ^I can tell you as a forme Astroland employee, those seats on Top Spin 2 are always having problems! I've been stuck in my restraint twice, and I've seen all the lap bars come down first. That ride is screwed up! -Dainan "Don't ride it" Rafferty
20. People: Me Pebbles (bffl) Josh (not Davidson) Ride List: Batwing 2x Joker's Jinx 1x Mind Ersaer 3x Roar 2x Superman: Ride Of Steel 1x Tower of Doom 2x Two Face: The Flip Side 2x Wild One 1x Quote Of The Day: Pebbles: (Talking about Mind Eraser) "The handle bars felt like you were flying a jet through turbulence" Trip Report: Me and Pebbles were with my mom and brother in DC, and we were staying with our friends in North Beach, Maryland. The plan was, we were all going to go to Six Flags America, but the weather got really hot and humid, so no one wanted to go, except for Pebbles and I, so we got dropped off at the park at 12. The lot was packed, and the lines to get in were long, but every one had a bathing suit and towels, so we knew this would be a good day! We decided to start off with Mind Eraser. I warned Pebbles before hand about how rough this ride was, but she wanted it to be her first at the park. We waited one train for the only empty row, which was the 2nd to ast! We went through the ride, with minimal pain until the 3rd inversion where all hell broke loose and we thought we were going to die . It was kind of funny, every time we got baches Pebbles would laugh. We got off and headed over to Roar. Six Flags America was really understaffed this day, the whole Roar crew were Mechanics! We got the 2nd to last row, walk on. Roar was kind of slugish in the morning, but it was still my favorite coaster in the park! Once again, not too rough, and still great airtime. Though at one point, Pebbles wacked me in the mouth by accident, and then she was sitting with her elbow on the side of the car, with her cheek in her palm, as if she wa bored. It was pretty funny! After that we decided to hit up Joker's Jinx. We waited 3 trains for the front row. The launch, wasn't too intense, that I knew. But I must say, I hate when people complain about it, and say the ride sucks souly because of the launch. Well this is one of the rare launching coasters that actually does stuff! The ride was really intense today. At one point we started screaming "I miss Chiller" which was pretty funny. I just can't imagine how people rode this with OTSR. We then headed over to Superman: Ride Of Steel. We waited two trains for the middle, because Pebbles was nervous. Which itself is ridiculous, because she goes on Nitro, El Toro, and Kingda Ka no problem! I will admit that I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't fit, because I heard that the seat belts got shorter, but I fit just fine. I had my seat belt a little loose too, and I had a little space between me and the lap bar! Which is really obnormal for this ride, they usually staple and pull the seat belt! Anyway, we were dispatched, and Pebbles was getting really nervous (not normal for her). At the top I put my hands up and she grabbed me and said "Dainan put them down! Dainan I'm scarred! Dainan hold on..." and as if it was a blink in the eye, she looked straight, put her hands up and had the biggest smile on her face! It was the funniest thing she's ever done. And for once, I really loved this ride. It was alot smoother and I was getting some sweet air, which I didn't get at all the last time I rode it. We then headed over to Batwing where we saw around 300 people leaving. Oh great it broke! So we waited it out. We get in the quiet queue, and turn to the steps, where we see a bunch of people just sitting and chillaxin! We were all talking and having a good time! They reopened the ride, and we all got on the same train! Pabbles and I were the only ones in the last row, and after a minute of checking we were clear. The seats lowered, and we didn't move. We sat there for a little while, before they lifted us half way, stopped, then went up all the way, then lowered all the way back down again for an other minute! Then they lifted us up again and they unlocked the train, and had them recheck it again! Then we repeated the same process as before, but the second time we went down, we actually dispatched! (Figures I'd break Batwing). The ride is so cool. This is so much better that Superman Ultimate Flight. We got off, and ran back around, where we ran into a kid who we were talking to before. This kid was juts like us, and he was by himself, so he stayed with us the rest of the day. His name was Josh. After our second ride on Batwing, we went over to the other side of the park, where we decided to eat at Cafe Hollywood. I got a Wild One Burger, Pebbles got Chicken Strips, and Josh got a mini Funnel Cake! The reason I mention this, is because it took 15 minutes to get all of this! The chicken came right away. The burger took a bit, but that was expected. But after I got it, a woman who was working there, came up to me with Wild One fries, and I said "I got the burger" and she put the fakest smile on and said, "Oh! I didn't understand yall" and then had the nastiest face and dumped it as if I called her a fat whore! What a betch! Then Josh finally asked about the funnel cake, and they forgot to make it! Was it worth it? Well...yes, because I was flippen hungry! (I forgot to mention the mud and Blue Cheese all over the floor that they didn't bother to clean up) After we ate we went over to Two Face: The Flip Side. We waited two trains. Pebbles and I sat near the front, and Josh sat across from us. Two Face was alot of fun, and really smooth this time. Pebbles thought it was really no different than Zoomerang at Lake Compounce. Me and Josh went to ride again, but this time in the front row (facing the lift). Jesus christ, you don't relize how tall this ride is until you're in this seat! After that we went on Wild One. We got the last car. It was great, and filled with airtime. At least they didn't staple me this time like they did back in June! After that Josh and I went on Tower Of Doom, because it was a walk on. Last time I rode this was in May with my little sister and we found it boaring. This time, I enjoyed it so much more. I wasn't stapled and it felt like a free fall! We even did it again, but this time, it was only us two, and we sat on the ends. I must say, the drop seemed longer and more intense that I actually screamed! It was so cool! We then went over to do Roar again! Me and Josh sat in the 2nd to last row, and Pebbles cought an empty row in the 3rd car! The ride was a lot faster this time, and alot rougher. This was the first rough ride I've really had on this, and yes, I loved every second of it. I don't care how rough it is! Pebbles decided to sit out on the next ride, which I wish I did too, because the next ride was Mind Eraser. Josh had tought me a trick to riding it. He said, "Keep your head back and to one side, in the corner." So we sat in the last row, and tried it. It worked fine up until the 3rd inversion, where I got killed again! So what did we do? We went into the 4th row, and tried it again. Well, SLC's I have found out are worse up near the front. I got such a bad head ache from this. I don't get it, the one in SFNE is not nearly this rough! Josh looked at me and said, "I guess this ride just doesn't like you!" While we were on it, my mom called and we went back to the parking lot. We said good bye to Josh and got in the car, and drove 5 hours home! Photos: All of these pictures, are just stills taking from film Pebbles is happy to just be at a park that's not SFGAv. Why is she smiling after Mind Eraser? Week launch, but great ride! Joker's Jinx is just so intense! The last corkscrew still takes me by suprise! This shot of Superman alone, makes the park look nicer! If I didn't tell you, you'd think this shot was fron Six Flags New England! (Thanks random tree) Airtime! This hills are great! Just don't sit in the back, there it's a let down! Batwing heading up the lift! I love the verticle loop! It's smoother on this than on Mind Eraser, that's for sure! This is my favorite flying coaster, so far! The Wild One Burger! Josh shows off his funnel cake he waited 15 minutes for! Two face! So smooth, why can't more Vekoma's be like this? Flying in! Well im just out of school. I'm really really cool... Gotta dance like a fool. I got the message gonna be a Wild One... The next series of pictures may disturb you! Josh and I doing the chicken dance! I did say he was just like us! This will be in the video! It's best not to ask how this maniged to come out! I give a thumb up for the best day I've ever had at Six Flags America! -Dainan "This park sure did go up on my scale!" Rafferty
21. They are POP Mondays-Friday. On Tuesdays if you buy one POP, you get an other one for free, but only for August! The wristbands are weird. They do it in sessions! On Monday through Thursday they do Two Sessions. One from 12:00pm-4pm, the other from 4:00pm-10:00pm. They stop selling writstbands at 8pm. On Friday, they only do the first session. If you want a wristband that includes 4 rides on the Cyclone and 2 rides on the Bumper Cars, it's a higher price. As of right now, all the rides are fully operational. Though Top Spin 2 has been experiencing some problems this year. (By this time last year it was allready closed). Alot of the rides are up for sale (none of them have been bought yet), but some of them (Top Spin, Break Dance and a few others) have not been put on sale. -Dainan "I hope this helped" Rafferty
22. The Cyclone isn't going anywhere. It's on it's lease for an other 9years and even so, it's a city landmark! And I worked at Astroland, and I'll tell you right now, it's not even closing. They will be around an other year! -Dainan "Has operated the Cyclone" Rafferty
23. My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!
24. Well, not much of TR! But here it goes! Every year, we go up to our Cabin in Lake George ($450 for the week!), and we always go to The Great Escape! But this year, we really didn't want to. So I went twice! The first time, my mom dropped my brother and I off at the park, and we called her an hour and a half later wanting to leave! Six days later, my mom dropped my little sister and I off at the park, and we spent the last hour there! Well...here's the little TR before you watch the video! Saturday July, 28th 2007 Anthony and I got to the park at 12:00pm and it was extremely hot! We first went on Boomerang, which broke down, but we waited it out! Then wnet over to Steamin' Demon which destroyed me! Desperado Plunge was next, where we didn't get wet! We then did Canyon Blaster, which sucked and the people in line were dumb as hell! Then we went over to the Comet, which we sat in the 4th row! We then called our mom to come pick us up, because we weren't having a good time! While waiting, I took an other spin on Boomerang, and then went to the guest pick-up! My mom and sister looked so suprised when they picked us out! I have never been so happy to leave a park in my life (minus the day I quit my job at Astroland). Reasons why the park sucked: -Staff was totally not friendly -It was really hot! -The guests were complete jkfhjeh -Half the rides were closed -And the SF atmosphere was really bringing us down! Friday, August 3rd 2007 Savannah and I got dropped off at the park at 7pm, and the park closed at 8pm! We were on a mission to film the Comet and go home! Well, my sister wanted to go on the car ride (name slips my mind). This is where I actually felt happy in TGE, for the first time since 2004! The Great Escape used to always have this 50's feel to it, and was always so friendly with music playing that matched the area! Well it was doing this now, and the park was empty so I was in heaven! We did Boomerang first! Anybody who knows my little sister would know that she's a Vekoma freak! She loves anything by them! And Boomerang was her first upside down coaster back in 2003, so this is always special to her! We walked onto the third row! It was smooth as silk! Great ride! Then we sat in the front row (without having to leave the station!). It was smooth until the final inversion, but that's okay! We then did the Comet twice! Both in the front row, walk on! We even had our lap bars at 3 clicks (she had 4 or 5 clicks),a nd we were having a smooth and airtime filled ride! We then headed over to Ghost Town were I took a solo ride on Steamin' Demon int he 2nd to last row! OWE! Savannah and I then rode Desperado Plunge, where she cried at the site of a closed Nightmare at Crackaxle Canyon! We didn't get wet on the drop, but some one pushed the water pumps, and we got shot at with water, and were soaked! Photos Savannah and I at "The Great Mistake" Still better than the Phoenix! Did I ever mention how much I love the photo pass? Steamin' Demon! It looks nice, but like it's title, it will kill you! Video So, all and all! Drive 4 hours out of your way and go to La Ronde! It's a much better park! -Dainan "I hope you enjoyed the video" Rafferty
25. Date: August, 13th 2007 People: Me Spike (NitroFan) Brian (Sue's friend) Ride Count: Nitro 1x Skully 2x Houdini 1x El Toro 1x Rolling Thunder (left) 1x Runaway Mine Train 1x Kingda Ka 1x GASM 1x Batman 1x Trip Report: Not much to really say! Just read the ride count! But there were something that happened, so read this! On our way to Nitro, we ran into our friend Brian, and had him hang with us, and ride Nitro with us, but afterwards he left! We then went to Skull mountain, where we queued up behind a camp counsler with 6 kids. A minute later, three camp counslers with 60 kids came behind, and CUT US! They all just went right on by! I started yelling out the counsler but he was so dumb that he seemed confused! Thank god for a wide queue, so we were able to slither right by! El Toro's hostess was really bad too! The line filled up, and was about an hour! We would stand for 20 minutes at a time before moving, because the woman kept letting flashpass go through! El Toro was running...like El Toro, great! A little bumpy, but not as bad as it was before the reepairs! Rolling Thunder was running 3 trains! 1 on the right, which had a huge queue, and 2 on the left side which was a 3 train wait! We ate lunch at Best Of The West, which is always nice. We checked out Medusa, but they were making the guests enter from the back swithcbacks, and we saw that the big 2 swithbacks were filled, and the other 2 were starting to fill, so we just left! Now on to Kingda Ka. We waited 10 minutes in the switchback, and I finally got into the locker room. They're really anal at Ka, so of course, we had to waste $2 to put my fanny pack, keys and Spike's cup in a locker! As we put the money in we hear the announcment that Ka was broken! Well...we got totally pwnd! Because we couldn't get our money back, so we waited it out. About a half hour later we were on GAK 2nd row. We flew over the top, great airtime! Quote of the day: "First they are line cutting! Now they are sitting on the hand rails! THAT DOES IT!" Photos: Spike and Brian at Nitro! There's the green train just chilling, and making the right side's line ridiculous! Hehe, Pot hang out! What is this enjoyment pose? My camera sucked, so I didn't get the people! But they were using all 4 swithcbacks at Medusa! Just a picture of the two of us...I need to shave! So both trains of Chiller are no where in site! Entertainment department seems to be doing good this summer! I decided to take a few shots in Skull Mountain, with out the flash! Only two were worth posting! This one is cool! I like this one of the train heading up the lift! I noticed this on the way in and out of the park! Six Flags Great Add-venture! I like this shot of Supersuck Ultimate Flop. Too bad it's not good! -Dainan "That's all, bye!" Rafferty
