It's seems ages since the last post here, but I'm still interested in this project. http://www.viajaporcolombia.com/default.asp?link=noticia&id=2025&seccion=noticias I saw something crazy on that page So the coaster will last 4 minutes, will be 4 km. long, 89° steep and 190 km/h??? The 89° drop and 190 km/u suggest it will be an Intamin Rocket Coaster or something along those lines, but how could that be 4 km long and last 4 min? Strange but interesting

Interesting report! Huh are we talking about the same coaster here? I find Werewolf rough. The turn after the first drop is just painfull if you sit in the front. The rest of the track is also quite rough IMO. But you're right about the airtime. It's great

There's an indoor skislope 6km from my house, but it's nowhere as cool as this one! The toboggan looks awesome. Truely amazing, skiing in the desert

I don't think they changed the name of the ride (but I could be wrong). I think Splash Bandit is just the name of this 'event' (from 7/14 'till 9/2 according to the website) where they spray you on the ride. The parkwebsite still calls it's ride Bandit.

^Yeah and it says 'Splash Bandit' under that picture so you're right. EDIT: you guys are lucky, because this event ends today (september 2th)

Isn't this very expensive to use every time rainclouds are coming? Or will Alton Towers probably only 'play God' on selected days, when they expect the park will going to be crowded? Bizarre, but interesting idea I think.

Build the tallest coaster that can be possible.

I don't think there will be a problem getting to your seat on these new train designs. Unlike on the GIB's, it looks like there's enough space between the first and second row of each car to get to your seat. From the picture's it seems that there's an equal distance between the front of the train and the front row, and between the back of the first seats and the second row. So boarding shouldn't be a problem.

I would have LOVED to go on the East Coast trip since most of the parks really look awesome, but I doubt I'll be going on a trip in 2008. Oh well there's always 2009 and 2010
