Kings Dominion (KD) Discussion Thread
A.T.I replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually they had 5 inversions when Hurler first opened. Theory is gone. I said EXCLUDING Shockwave, because it no longer operates, so it doesn't count. -

The correct theory on 20 Better than 4:- When Hurler first opened, the park only had 4 inversions, all of which were on Anaconda. In 2017, excluding Shockwave, the park has a total of 17 inversions. Does the upside-down T represent that RMC Hurler will bring 3 inversions to the park, bringing the total inversion count up to 20? I think so. -

Maybe even 8 cars? Its safe to say though it will run 3/4 trains, since it is the biggest RMC ever to be given Iron Horse treatment, and both NTG and TC has 3 trains, so it is definitely likely, especially with a mid-course brake run. No doubt about it! -

Honestly, Lightning Rod is a failed concept, its downtime levels are poor. I honestly don't see it being long before it gets torn down. -

Its certainly an interesting layout... I think it would be better if the end airtime hill was an inline twist, but it still looks interesting. -

Tayto Park Discussion Thread
A.T.I replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Considering BPB are getting a Mack multi launch in 2018, and the fact that Tayto park is just across the sea, I think that a Mack mega lite or Mack hyper coaster would be a better fit instead of a Mack launch coaster. Then again, they are across seas, so not necessarily...
