I don't think I would like a launched flyer, I'm not a big fan of them. I think they are a little uncomfortable in regards to how your neck is a little limited as to how much you can see. That being said, I did enjoy Tatsu the most out of the 3 I have ridden because of its height. Looking down on everything gave me that freedom of movement a little better. On a side note why does everyone say that "after Hulk" B&M wouldn't do a launched coaster. Maybe there was some sort of animosity because Universal did the launch but is there any one of us that thinks Hulk sucks? I love Hulk. Must ride Hulk. Leaving right now to drive to IOA to ride Hulk....I think... I think... I think its gonna work this time!

its funny how a few years ago pundits were complaining that computers were going to cause kids and adults as well to not be as good in reading skills. Now with kindle and the others, reading a book is easier than ever, and in most cases cheaper too.

I agree with the guy who said that Mean Streak is better with nobody on it. I had 3 cycles in the morning and for some reason that sticks out in my memory as a special moment for me as far as coaster memories go. I thought the ride rode better than other rides I've had on mean streak. I'm not a Mean Streak basher, I look at it as more of a upper level family coaster. My favorite all time ride with nobody on it was Kumba a few years ago at Halloweekends. Me and a friend of mine who plays for the Buccaneers were on it ( in different rows because I mean hey, he is a Center in the NFl so there wasn't much room) and we got 2 rides in. Very cool ride, the roaring Kumba.

i personally hope that TPR is able to influence all polls regardless of who is running them. I mean it would be one thing if we supported some joke of a coaster to try to screw some poll up just to prove we could, but we supported a 300 foot intamin. Enough said.

Robb, All those comments about TPR on the poll only serve to bring more people into this site. I guess you as an enthusist are not allowed to vote for anything once you open a website lest you be called biased and a rigger of web polls. I used to get all up in arms when I read someone write negatively about TPR but then I settled on the fact that the many outweigh the few. Those people who constantly have nothing but hate need to stay away from here to begin with and I for one am glad that the moderators do a good job of seeing that that happens.

I think the point is that they were douches in the first place so they cant really expect to spew thier garbage and not have some type of response. People like these expect to be able to hide behind thier screen names and no one will ever know. When they get the banned smackdown they get all offended and try to lash out. I cant imagine that Robb as business owner, EVER wants to ban anybody. Some people just make it so hard not to.

When deciding on a new coaster for the park, who comes up with the initial concept i.e is there a group focus or is one individual responsible for the Idea. Also, how do the attractions that other parks in the immediate market that have recently opened affect your decisions? p.s. thank you for choosing Intamin. Its about time we had one in Florida

We have one here in Jacksonville Fl. It is at Adventure Landing. They also have a small water park. Its actually not bad, they have a Master Blaster, a couple of dark slides, a toilet bowl and aone of those half pipe slides wave pool etc. My steel drum band plays there sometimes.

Every time I see the name of this coaster it reminds me of the name of some exotic adult beverage somewhere. "Tonight, the bar is serving 2 for 1 Shangrila Snowfields"

did everybody see robb on yahoo today. his i305 video in its entirety. Maybe its me but some of the comments about the "guy in the video" pissed me off. I know that people tend to post garbage about everything but personally I live vicariously through robb and elissa's travels and I feel like they are close friends even though we've only met once.(WCB 08). I had to respond, and did. I just posted that the guy in the video has done more for enthusiasts than anyone and is a bonafide theme park expert so people should get a grip and stop criticizing everything that they don't understand. I mean, he is riding a roller coaster not performing brain surgury. I do realize that Robb is probably way above responding to such garbage but i'm not and when someone messes with mine i got their back. Not that it will mean anything to anybody but for some reason I couldn't resist.

A beach, be it inland lake front or coastal ocean is a completely different thing than a water park. I dont really think you can even consider them together. My point is that a lake will just simply get you wet , but a water park has slides, lazy rivers, play structures and other things that create an individual experience. I live at Jax Beach, beautiful white sand beach, give me a water park any day of the week.

I live in Jacksonville and I always think that Cypress Gardens/Legoland is closer to Orlando than it is. When I used to go there it just seemed like it took me forever to get to the park from Orlando. I too wish it was in a better location. I am worried that the location will inevitably cause problems for Legoland.

so Zamperla sells the POS's to parks they dont own, but if they own the park they do whatever it takes to make their rides operate smoothly? Someone should have told Knotts that I would think that they would do whatever improvements even to a prototype that need to be done so that companies will continue to buy their rides. How their rides operate is a direct reflection on the company.
