I remember they used to do things like this for the Disneyland Anniversary, one year it was a quest with a theme of the "Mountains of Disneyland" and was really fun. I think we still have the booklet and pin that came with it. Glad to see they are doing fun little things like this again.

This looks so awesome. Hope to be able to get out there and ride it soon. So glad it's not just a gimmick and is an actual great coaster.

Pearl Jam - Education It's funny, I absolutely loved the first 3 Pearl Jam albums but they kind of lost my interest after they came out with that crappy Last Kiss song. I watched the PJ20 movie the other day so am going back through their catalog on Spotify. I'm really enjoying some of the newer stuff.

During the Hard Hat Tour I asked Tim that exact question and he said it was because of clearance in the tunnel. I'm just assuming they are using the same track for the remainder of the straight section of track after the launch out of the tunnel. Could be flat outside of the tunnel due to that still being part of the launch? I mean they do have to launch it enough to get over the "First Ever 160 Foot Top Hat".

That ride looks so freaking awesome. Hope we can get out there this year.

Laughing Dragon is actually pretty nice inside. They use it for special events and it was used for the Fright Feast last year.

Wow, I think this is the first post of somebody not liking the way it looks. I actually was thinking that element was making everybody like the ride more. Go figure.

For true football fans, Divisional and Championship weekends are better than the Super Bowl. As for the Super Bowls financial impact, it would obviously be better if the NFL wasn't also asking for kick backs. And if they didn't see a profit, these cities would stop hosting them IMO.

Ryan Fitzpatrick released by the Bills as well. He'll get picked up as a backup somewhere. Or be the starter for the Raiders.

They are also using the flat track inside the tunnel due to clearance issues.

I'm guessing that SFMM's Top Hat is probably saying that it's the "First Top Hat to go directly on top of a loop". But that's too long to put on a poster.

^ Not really near the station. That's where the launch will be. The loop will begin pretty much right where the crane is now in this picture. The supports on the right are the launch, the supports on the left are the back-side of the top hat. The loop is going to go up pretty high.

I think it's 10:15. I got there at probably 10:28 because by the time I was walking up the hill to X2/Tatsu the GP was already running for the (closed) X2.

^ Not a month. Vertical construction will most likely be done in a month but they have to finish that area, do all of the testing, do whatever they are going to do in the Tunnel, etc. I'm going to say it will be open sometime in June.

One additional thing about the Buses was that there were no "clear the tram road" announcements as they are approaching like you'd get with the trams. I know this was built into the trams and the employee in the back would make that announcement. Hopefully this is something they'll build into the buses or create some kind of automated spiel.

I haven't ridden Minion Mayhem, but I did ride Jimmy Neutron. Isn't the T2 theater WAY bigger than the Minion Mayhem building in FL? This seems like an awful waste of space to me. USH needs a dark ride. I'd be all over a Despicable Me dark ride.

^ LOL. I've needed a new computer for awhile, this game is finally going to convince me to get one. This looks great.

Vapor Trails is a good album, it was just mastered so badly and compressed to hell. You can find fan made versions out there that have been remastered (as well as they can).

^ If it's the end of April it will be pretty dead so getting on everything shouldn't be an issue. Just be aware some rides will only be running 1 train.

Sky tower was open, Slingshot was open, Ninja was open, Sky Coaster was open. I'm pretty sure if all those can open in the wind that there was today, X2 can. They were letting people line up when the park opened but not sure how long that was going on for. Hope it did open. Was talking to someone who I assume is an enthusiast about what was his best plan on getting on X2 today. I told him to go back at the magic 3:00 hour. Would be a shame if he missed it.
