^ This is the only reason someone should ever go to Weis. -
Neither can I. I don't know if it's intentionally supposed to clog things up or if it's to make everyone drive in a circle, but it's annoying. Today, I was looking at the newly-designed park website when I came across this: the background of the Food Truck Fridays page is of Shambahala and Dragon Khan at Port Adventura. Am I missing something? https://www.dorneypark.com/play/events/food-truck-fridays

Dorney will be flying the Hersheypark flag over their park! For those of you who haven't been following the Phantoms/Bears playoff series (which is likely all of you but I digress), tonight the Bears beat the Phantoms in Game 5 of the five game series and are going on to the next round of the playoffs. So, in the near future, Dorney will be flying the Hersheypark flag over their own park! Not sure when it will take place just yet.

If you plan on doing the waterpark, be prepared, as lines can get pretty long over there. If not, you likely won't wait long for anything on the dry side except for Wild Mouse (because of low capacity). Ride-wise, here are the ones you should ride, although you'll probably have time for anything you want to ride if it looks fun: - Talon - Steel Force (Front Row) - Hydra (Back Row) - Possessed - Demon Drop (last of its kind left in the USA) - Thunder Creek Mountain - Thunderhawk (old woodie, ride in second row) - Dominator - Stinger (if it's open)

It would be even better if it was teams people cared about No surprise there, being AHL teams. Most people don't care about the AHL since it's below the highest level in the sport. That's how it is with every major competitive sport. On the bright side, it's a perfect match for Dorney, since Dorney is a park few people care about combined with an AHL hockey team that few people care about.

Apparently, there is a bet going on between Dorney Park and Hersheypark right now. In the AHL playoffs, the Hershey Bears are up against the Allentown Phantoms in a best-of-five series. If the Hershey Bears win (Go Bears!), then Dorney park will fly a Hersheypark flag over Dorney, and if the Phantoms win, then a Dorney Park flag will be flown over Hersheypark. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Currently, the Bears are up 1-0 in the series.

I agree with this 100%. You could put in guard towers, a barbed wire fence, and a giant dome around your park and it isn't guaranteed to protect your park from everything. As for the lines, I have never personally waited in a security line for more than five minutes (even at Disney), and as long as they have enough stations open and staffed (looking at you, Six Flags) and keep things moving then it's not really that big of an issue.

My longest wait for a roller coaster would have to be Sidewinder at Hersheypark. I would not have waited that long if it wasn't my first time on a boomerang. Overall, my longest wait for a ride in general was on the Jungle Cruise at WDW, where an advertised "60 minute wait" turned out to be a 2+ hour wait.

Okay, good to know. I knew the main restaurants closed on Sundays but did not know that every single venue closed as well. -

Nice to see that the towers are operating. S&S towers aren't my favorite, but they're still pretty good and it's better than not having a drop ride. Now, on to more important matters... Is the Chik-Fil-A inside the park closed on Sundays? -

This In the front row, you crest over the lift hill, begin your descent, and the instant the back of the train crests the lift hill you plummet downwards. In the back, you crest over and it's like a 200ft freefall. It's phenomenal. -

There is no decent reason to ride Anaconda. What about a cheap chiropractor? -

Now, for my Magnum XL-200 story. The last time I was at Cedar Point, I was 3 years old, and as a result have no memory of Magnum XL-200 whatsoever. -

Your platinum pass still gets you in to every park, but the all-season fast pass is only valid at the park you bought it for. -
