BGW or Hershey Park
Mr. Corn replied to Mr. Corn's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am not traveling with little kids. 1/2 of my family doesn't like coasters,so they like parks like Disney. They are looking for dark rides, good shows, and things to do inside the park besides rides. The other 1/2 of our family is looking for airtime coasters and luanch coasters. The other thing mentioned was things to do outside the park at night, and yes, thats important too, as we'll probably go to the park one day, then have to kill about 6 hours before we'd get on our flight -
BGW or Hershey Park

The only reason I didn't consider Knoebels is due to the fact that it is an extra 1hr 15min to get there, and you can't fly out of that city, thats an extra 1hr. And for the other person who commented, yes our family is looking for other things to do in the city, which is a plus for Williamsburg. Thanks for the input -

Hi there, We are considering a trip to Washington D.C. next year, and as the coaster geek I am, I'm trying to work an amusement park in there. I've figured out that it is an equal drive (2hr 15min) from DC to both Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Hershey Park and I was wondering what you'd recommend. Just so you know, I like dark rides and rides with airtime, in case you were wondering what I was looking for. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. -Mr. Corn

I could see them going Waterpark and coasters only eventually. There are about 3 coasters in Arkansas besides the ones here, but a lot of waterparks, so I could see them getting rid of all their flats and just keeping the coasters and the waterpark, as they have a big stake in the coaster market, which is the big reason people in Arkansas go there.

CJ Barrymore's trip report

Do you know what type of coaster? I'm guessing an SBF spinner, am I correct? -
^^^ I'm not sure that the park will eventually recover, but I don't think people will ever ride that ride again, even if they do reopen it (which is controversial). I think that however, people's decision to return will depend on the outcome of the inspection. If it was rider error, I think that people will eventually return, and all the staff will be retrained. But, if it was the parks fault, I would say that the parks future is in jepordy. Again, prayers for the family

Maybe the raft was too light or the water pressure was too high, so when they went up the hill, the raft flew up and tilted backward, and hit the netting, sadly the young boy died, but the woman survived due to the fact that they were not in the front row. Just as everyone said, this is just absoluetly horrible, and prayers for the family and those involved

I know they were doing that for the Demon at Great America but are they changing the VR across all parks? Nothing was said about TNR at Magic Mountain or the 3 Superman ones, so I assume their staying -

This is going to sound really stupid, but I think we'll see a rides swap with KBF, They'll get our enterprise, we'll get their Tornado slide -
TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index
Mr. Corn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hi there, I noticed that Breckenridge Ski Resort was not listed on the index. If you need some help with the rides and photos, let me know. -Mr. Corn -
So they randomly destroyed it and built a B&M kiddie coaster named Revenge of the Donkey
