I acutally don't think we'll see a JL:BFM, I could acutally see a custom dark ride. The competition is extremely stiff in the SoCal dark ride department, and while its super good at parks like SFstL, its mainly due to the fact that their isn't a ton of stuff to compare it too. So I could see them customizing it (maybe removing the shooting part) and giving it a new name, possibly Justice League: Battle for Gotham City. Just my thoughts. I originally thought we'd see a custom dark ride and some flats, but since they said RIDE (not rides) I'm now leaning towards a Movie District retheme with a customized dark ride

There was also talk of relocating it within the park or sending it to another park that would take it. I personally don't know the geography of Dorney that well so I'm not sure where they could put it. Also, we need to remember, this park dumps a lot of money each year into maintenance, but they would make money every year with this new space. Also lets be real, the park is hardly ever crowded enough on the dry side to ever get real lines, but if they moved it to another park, they could market it as a brand new coaster and at a different park like MiA or Valleyfair, it'd be the best and most popular ride in the park and it'd actually draw a line, while saving those parks a ton of money over building a brand new coaster

I would rather see them destroy Mean Streak completely and put in a custom RMC woodie, maybe something like Outlaw run. And I think that thats more likely than an RMC conversion -

I would love to see Six Flags go super duper light on everything next year, then in 2019, do a YEAR OF COASTERS!!!!!!! Thats where every single park gets a new coaster!!!! It could be a kiddie coaster, it could be an RMC T-Rex, who knows.... BUT ITS A COASTER!!!! -

Oh yeah I bet the corporate higher-ups are literally sh*tting their pants just thinking about the prospect of having to compete with a new free spin at a power house destination park like Six Flags America. One of those could really improve the park and it'll be unique in SFA's market unless you include great adventure as part of their market. Screamscape said that they would be getting an RMC I-Box conversion on Roar. So I can think we can all agree, Screamscape is wrong again... -

They didn't say. They did say however that they were looking at several locations including places where they would remove older rides -

You poor thing... Don't they still have the old Serial Thriller from Astro World sitting in storage? It was originally sent there, but then it was transferred to La Ronde to become Endor -

Six Flags supposedly is looking into mass buying 6 S&S 4D Free Flys, and it only mentioned the parks for 3 of them and we were not mentioned. I still think we could get one of those 6 those, so keep your eyes peeled for any permits. I personally think we need an El Loco before something like this, but hey, any coasters a coaster at this point. -

I'd just be glad that we get a coaster. I'd rather have a S&S 4D Free Fly clone than nothing -
Six Flags 2017 New Ride Predictions
Mr. Corn replied to djackson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
La Ronde: I think we'll see a Premier Rides Superman Clone with an overall updated park. If we're really lucky, they'll hustle to dispatch quickly Six Flags America: 2 relocated flats from SFGAm, and a brand new Trioka as part of a DC themed flats expansion Six Flags Discovery Kingdom: Flats expansion like what SFOT got Six Flags Fiesta Texas: I honestly have no idea, I was thinking maybe a Perilous Plunge style Mack Water Ride where it dives off the cliff into a major splashdown. Otherwise a DC Superfriends area Six Flags Great Adventure: JL:BFM Six Flags Great America: Zamperla Air Race or Superloop and new show Six Flags Magic Mountain: Some sort of Justice League dark ride (maybe a different one than JL:BFM) a couple flats, and a DC Superfriends area. This area is huge and could fit those if they were creative with the layout. Six Flags Mexico: Zamperla Air Race or Superloop Six Flags New England: S&S 4D Free Fly Six Flags Over Georgia: JL:BFM and a Zamperla Air Race Six Flags Over Texas: S&S 4D Free Fly and Bumper Cars (maybe relocated from SFOG) Six Flags St. Louis: Splashwater Falls from SFNE. DC Superfriends kids area. Reopen Boomerang under a different name and replace the restraints to something like Blue Hawk at SFOG. Prep for 2018 S&S 4D Free Fly or Premier Rides Superman Clone Great Escape: Flats and a show. I think we'll also see the repaint of Alpine Bobsleds and prep for the 2018 Gale Force clone. -
Valleyfair (VF) Discussion Thread

Where do you suggest they put one? The DInos aren't going anywhere until the contract is up As far as we know, the permit to toothpick Excalibur and fill in the swamp in the back hasn't been approved The aren't going to spend a zillion dollars to move a zillion things around inside the park when these locations will become available in a few years. Exactly. The Dinos will more than likely become a "Deckerated" coaster as Matt Ouimet has called recent front gate coasters after VP of Design Rob Decker, but that will not happen until the Dino's useful life is complete. Who knows how long that will be. People have mentioned that they are 7 year leases, which means they will be around until at least 2019, making 2020 the earliest year that land is available for re-development. I don't know if anybody has ever offered up any proof as to the length of the lease though, so it could be 10 years...who knows!! As long they keep making respectable profits, they could be around for forever!! I made it to the park last Saturday night for my first and probably only visit this season. The park was actually not as busy as I thought it would be for a Saturday night in early August. I took advantage of the starlight admission and was at the park from about 4:30 to 10:30. The park looked great!! Everything was super clean and operations seemed to be running very efficient. I rode Renegade 4-5 times (2 night rides), Wild Thing 3-4 times, and the following once: Power Tower (red), Xtreme Swing, High Roller, Corkscrew, Mad Mouse, Enterprise, Steel Venom, Northern Lights, Excalibur, and the Bumper Cars. Having done all that in a little under 6 hours, I can honestly say I was ready to leave. In my opinion the park has a great collections of rides and has almost every category covered, but it is obviously missing a modern steel looping coaster and an extra thrill ride or two. Next year should take care of the thrill ride, so hopefully the modern looping coaster isn't far behind! I'm not sure if this is possible, but if there's 3 years left on the lease, couldn't they move it to another park for the remaining 3 years???? -
London Orbit slide review 2016
Mr. Corn replied to Henry M's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would love to see them put a slide on a poler coaster, you get in a giant sac (like one for sac races) and then you get in a drop capsule like on certain waterslides, the floor retracts and you go through the slide after doing a short "free fall", that would be so freaking awesome!!! -
Six Flags America (SFA) Discussion Thread
Mr. Corn replied to Mind Eraser's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just want to say this. Six Flags America could be one of the most popular parks in the chain, but the problem is investing. Becuase Six Flags doesn't want to invest, I think we'll stay just as we are now. An average Six Flags parks with decent rides and a couple standouts. If I ran the park I'd do this: 2017: Thrilling Flats like what SFOT got 2018: Gale Force Clone 2019: Justice League: Battle for Metropolis 2020: Bugs Bunny Boomtown and a family flat 2021: Family- Thrilling multi launch or spinner made by Mack But the problem is that would require a lot of capital investment which I don't think we'll get. The park is 40 minutes away from the nations capital which gets millions of visitors. But people are driving an extra 2 hours to go to parks like BGW becuase their getting those investments. This is what I would expect for SFA for the next 5 years. 2017: 2 Relocated Flats from SFGAm 2018: Either RMC Roar (unlikely) or 4D Free Fly (more likely) 2019: Bugs Bunny Boomtown and DC Super Friends Kids Area 2020: Waterpark 4 slide complex 2021: Family/Thrilling Flats and either Superman Backwards (if thats possible) or A New Show Thanks for listening to my thoughts -

When ACE went to the S&S plant, they saw a red, blue, and yellow 4D Free Fly. So I'm guessing that its a Superman themed one for a Six Flags park. Maybe SFstL???????? -
