  1. ^ i knew your sn had to come from that bad... -everytime i look at ur sn, i think of "she wants revenge" well.. im listening to an indie band from NY. "elefant"
  2. ^ LOL ... well im at work... im talkn to my client and rambling here... I'm setting up his investment accounts and he thinks im typing info in the system but just typing here... i want him to get out now.. he smells.
  3. ahhhh.. nice pics.. ive been waiting for some time to see the finished product. I love the station's design. Although its basically a box shape, the design pattern is cool. The next wait, is to see the vid of the ride in action. I actually want to see how the japanese guests will react to this ride. It's always amusing to see their facial reactions. I'm sure this a new terror to some of 'em. I bet that one popular japanese show will make it out there with some interesting segments later on.
  4. ^wow. that's either something to celebrate, or think about. as for me... im goin surfing today!
  5. I'm goin to work on my abs in 5 min.
  6. Its understandable to protect human rights. Yet, it is not necessarily our business to go into a country and start a war over it. Although in Iraq's past, there were people dying under dictatorship rule, it isn't the decision of the US to bring order to that country. If that were the case, why arent we in Kosovo/Bosnia, Countries of Africa, Israel where more than hundred of thousands face their death under genocide, longer than Saddam's rule. Because of the war, over 40,000 Iraqi civillians have been killed. I do believe we have done enough damage to their people. The US media only wants to inform our country of the positive, instead of the negatives.
  7. ^ true. yet, although we know those types may be considered pig-headed. I'm trying to define what root cause can make a person narrow-minded to not consider the consequences being made to their child/friend/etc., going to camp. There has got to be some form of cognitive reasoning for this. I almost laugh at the fact these parents can be so naive to believe other people can play god on their own children. The paradoxes of religion and morality is baffling. well overall.. in my studies, being homo-s is a biological/chemical occurence, and realization is a psychological effect... well i can rant on about this.. but i already have in the other gay thread.. ha..
  8. i dont get why, for some people, religion would come before love. Why force yourself not to love someone by putting yourself in a camp? Not only do you lose your identity, but you let extreme conformist control who you are in this world. but anyhow.. do they have any success stories?
  9. I am floored to see Spain lose today. I HOPE BRAZIL RIPS THEM APART.
  10. the remainding survivors so far..
  11. all i can think of is how horny the boys in camp will be when they get out. It's like depriving a fat kid from cake for a later date. temptation is a persons weakness. for a gay guy.. all you have to do is get a hot guy to do a couple moves on him and that 6 weeks of camp can go out the door in 6 secs..
  12. ^hey cody.. most people would agree with how you feel about staying in Iraq to finish what was started. Yet, who actually knows what mission the soldiers need to complete before they leave? I think the world knows that we are already a weak country in a political sense, to allow a strong country invade another country for WMD and find out that there wasnt any to begin with. Leaving at a premature time is usually a bad idea... but then again.. whats premature about it if we dont know what time we're sposed to leave. On another note... I was watching the news last night, and they covered a story about how Democrats are accusing Republicans of planning to withdraw troops months before the Presidential elections, as a political boost for the party. hmm.. it makes one think sometimes how dirty congress can get.
  13. Just to balance the comments about the senate vote today... although D-John Kerry's proposal failed... The Republicans proposal has FAILED to pass as well. Their proposal of redeployment of troops didnt pass. A proposal that means not to put a deadline on the us troops. Nonethe less doesnt put a clear objective on its end. So no deadline no end. The results we're most likely facing is a battle that can possibly go on more than 10+ years. I'm sure there will be reforms and other proposals to refine the situation, but expect to see US troops in Iraq even after the end.
  14. 36th ANNUAL SF PRIDE is this WEEKEND! GAY PRIDE SF
  15. im at work right now... just wanted to let you all know that my boss is a bitch. >=P -just realized this should have gone in the rant thread.
  16. Today's USA vs Ghana. They have to win in order to stay alive, and of course Italy has to win their match in order to keep america in. USA isnt my team, but it would be nice to see how far they can go in the knock off rounds.
  17. so far the poll looks split, almost a reflection of split views amongst congress. in my opinion, i personally think if america was a little more educated about whats going on in Iraq, and understand the full aspect of a clear objective, then i think the polls would lean on one side. At least by then, people would be able to weigh in the pros and cons on every situation. Instead of letting political figures tell you one side of the story. (ie. Republican's "cut and run" and Democrats "timetable") btw... Im hoping this thread wouldnt be closed. Why censor peoples opinion? Forums are the basis for debates and opinions. it'd be nice to get further opinions that are relevant and focused on the topic as opposed to someone's feelings against a statment. *all about positive vibes. =P

  19. Although i can rely on B&M to produce and reproduce nice, massive, smooth(certain degree) coasters, I would choose Intamin. Partly, because of the variety of rides/attractions they can produce and how they utilize varied sources of technology in innovative/creative ways.
  20. im sure the voyage would probably take the cake for best terrain. but since i havent rode that ride yet. i like the terrain on ninja, at sfmm. the ride isnt as wild as its other arrow counter-parts, but its a nice scenic ride along the mountain side.
  21. Ghost Rider has a nice massive look to it. I like the turn around.. looks like they can build apts within those frames.
  22. For those who are at least aware of the most current events in Iraq.. Do you think its necessary for US soldiers to stay in the country. It's a little disturbing how congress (both democrats and republicans) cannot decide what is in the best interest for the soldiers who sacrifice their lives knowing the hunt for terrorist(s) is life-long and on going. Will they ever be pulled out? Or will they be consumed and provoked to stay when the next attack occurs. I'll leave it at that.. -its just sad to hear about the 2 soldiers tortured in a barbaric way, die to a slow grueling death.
  23. Thank you. -nuff said
