  6. It only happens once every four years, and its in Germany. The largest viewed international sporting event other if not greater, than the olympics. But of course in america, its as popular as watching golf. My bids are on Brazil and/or Spain. Of the 32 international teams competing in the next 4 weeks. Who do you think should win?

  8. im guessing the crazy things would also include taking a shower w/ four other dudes. ha.. the pics are cool.. *goodtimes i bet
  9. One thing i have learned is that there is no such thing as likeing two things equally. There is always one better over the other in a choice that needs to be made. I was in your position, and sometimes i like to think i can be bi. Although, being bi is real, it depends on what level your talking about. You can be bi in a sexual way, where you can have sex w/ both genders. BUT, in a relationship way, there is a choice. You can have sex with all the girls you want, but if what you really want is to be loved by a guy, then in the end, a guy is what you need. go with your feelings. dont force yourself to think otherwise. btw.. thanks for the add! ps.. thanks BiCoastal Kid, yes you can say that
  10. ^being curious is natural and a human behavior EVERYONE has and does. that doesnt determine one sexuality. it really depends on you when you do understand. you have to ask that person who was curious and who had experience(s), is if they liked it or not. but, considering if the experience (im assuming sexual) occured in more than one occasion, it does raise an eyebrow.
  11. I'm sure a lot of people are familiar with YOUTUBE to view and broadcast videos online. Well, there is a new site that i was chekcing out, called VEOH (www.veoh.com) that offers the same service, but actually lets you upload longer shows (like 20-30 min+) and even lets you download others into your computer. So just wondering if anyone has veoh and is sharing their library of their coaster vids there.
  12. ^^ both posts are on point in situations upon others, and there are many different factors to include. Yet, I also believe peoples outting period isnt so much adversely affected by the people around them, but by the individual locked in their own closet. It basically comes down to how comfortable YOU are with your identity and who you are as a function to society. How secure are you with yourself? The possibilities why we're insecure, is that we discover the importance of being gay(good or bad) at our early teens. In our teens, we are inflicted with life choices to make to prepare us to function in society. Furthermore, choices definately become sensitive and difficult when parents guide you into a direction other than your own (partly, why telling our parents is so hard). We, at the same period, learn our flaws in other peoples perceptions, clouding our confidence and pride. We learn to come out in our late teens or even in midlife, because we later come to terms with our identity, and are comfortable where we stand with the people around us. Thanks to popular culture, young adults and early teens can now feel vindicated and come out at an early age. A great start to learn more about one self.

  14. When i was at the BFD concert watching the STROKES... the back speakers went out, and their whole set pretty much killed it for me.
  15. I am VERY impressed with one particular video that knows how to captivate an audience. There's a reason why NICOLAS CHAVANCE's vid was last (no pun intended)... and im glad the build up to his video lived up to the expectations. This so far, is one of my personal favorites of the 10 vids shown. This video was extremely well done. It's organization and storyline was great. It felt like watching a movie trailer to the full length film. Perfect choice of music for this as well. You really caught the mood you were going for, and i felt it. Part of the reason why it stood out, was the fact that it was really different from watching rollercoasters left and right. You took the essence of the park and really utilized it in this film. It made me wanting more. In addition, the opening is a classic. I'm assuming you've had experience in film and/or editing. I hope the park see's the film and recognizes it in appreciation. great job! SO FAR, by groups.. my favorites are GROUP 1: Julian GROUP 2: Nicolas
  16. I've finished watching the first group of videos, and have immediately concluded that julian johnsons's vid stands out from the pack! Although i will admit that everyone did a great job, and im sure spent a good amount of time and effort to produce their vids, but there's always one that just sinks in your head over the others. My reasons follow: Great cinematography (angles, pan shots, locations, order, transitions) Soundtrack fit well with the vibe and energy screened; nice synch w/ the beats Clips of excitement amongst the group of friends (you get a personal feeling that you were there sharing the goodtimes) It brought real PERSONALITY to the rides, not just the typical recording of the coasters in cycle (the stutter replay) not once did i feel that there was a run on or flat section in the video good job to the group though. but there's more yet to be seen.
  17. I do find it interesting, after reading the article from the koreatimes, that police plan to charge an individual, the supervisor, as opposed to Lotte World in a legal case. Though i understand the supervisor has a responsibility over his staff of ride operators, he wasnt the associate checking or inspecting the train/passengers before it cleared. In addition, if the police were to file for negligence to individuals, then it should be filed against the ride operator(s) who neglected to check the seat. if operations at lotte world train and certify ride operators similar to the way they do here in the states (certifying by initaling and signing documents after completion and comprehension), then it would be legitimate to say the operators were negligent and should be charged. But considering i do not have any knowledge of their training process nor documents of liability, that can be up for debate. Yet, It is an upsetting story to read of a life loss for something that could've been easily prevented on a job your paid and trained to do.
  18. I'm looking foward and excited to view these episodes. I'm sure many in the field should be too. It's like porn for engineers.
  19. ^is a nerd =P < has gas V wants to smell gas
  20. work brings unecessary stress
  21. GREAT PIX!. The ride is obviously gonna be a hit, and to me a major difference in ride experience. But the height concern in comparison to X?.. Will it matter to a rider? and can u really feel the difference in height when you drop? oh well.. im glad its of a 200'+ height range. n thats good enough for me.
  22. i like to change up my hair when i get bored of it. Partying in SanFrancisco
  23. wow.. didnt realize that there were a lot of folks that play on the left field... haha.. goodstuff... as long as everyone is cool with it... im more on the homo'social' side as opposed to homosexual.. so i bat for both teams.. BIG DIFFERENCE btw
  24. Robin Thicke - "wanna love you girl"
  25. ^ i most definately agree.. with the evening city lights setting, the urban planning and architecture fits well together with the park.
