I just hope they are not getting rid of the rapids ride. That thing has the longest lines sometimes plus it a great rapids ride where you are 100% getting soaked!

Hersheypark is just awesome in general. I have never had a bad experience there. I can't wait to ride this thing in July. I'm hoping this is not the last year of the Rapids ride! That thing always has the longest line it seems.

I know the flat collection is pathetic, but aesthetics-wise the park looks great. The landscaping and overall atmosphere last season were better than I can ever remember. The golden kingdom and plaza del carnival especially are just beautiful. I agree those areas are awesome but they each have one ride....besides kid's rides. The parks landscaping was awesome last year but that does help with those long lines in the summer. I just hope next year brings a few flats.

The park just looks sad.....I mean sure the coasters are top class but the park in general is pathetic IMO. It's really sad though because I used to love the park.

I hate when people complain but I'm going too......this park just keeps removing rides like crazy so pretty soon it's just going to be one big coaster and kiddy ride park. Sad to see Chiller go and MTWE.....

Thank's for the info.........I'm probably just as excited to go since I haven't been there since I was in first grade. I had some wierd things happen which included passing out from the heat at Circus World and almost drowned in the pool, so hopefully this time I'm accident free....lol... Yeah she will just be excited to see the Castle.....she won't stop talking about it.

I just reserved a vacation at Disney Old Key west with my daughter(she is 7).We are going April 6th(sunday) thur April 9th(wednesday). Is 3 days at the Magic Kingdom too long? Cause i was thinking 3 days there and 1 day at Animal Kingdom. I already reserved breakfast at the castle for Tuesday(last opening....thank god)

Great job on the video and the song goes great with it. I wouldn't have thought it would really be getting the ax. I so wanted to get the credit on Batman with just the lap bars. I mean this wild mouse crap is ok but it sucks since its replacing a different and great coaster, plus its one of a kind. Oh well....watch it work when its placed somewhere else.

I'm still upset about this I never rode Batman with just lapbars. This park just seems to want to become a Dutch Wonderland with big roller coasters (yes some great coasters at that). I mean how many family/extreme flats have been removed. Now they are removing 3 rides(2 coasters and MTWE?) for one ride that's a Wild Mouse.

I just watched the POV and it seemed very boring. I never rode it but it just seemed to turn and have little hills besides the first drop. I can't completely judge cause I never got a chance to ride it.

I completely agree with you and this is why I rarely post on here(Complaining about something so meaning less gets on my last nerve...done ranting). This ride looks amazing. At least they are adding stuff. I think it comes down to that people have been spoiled but look where it got most of the parks....they turned into trash with huge coasters. I'd rather go to a nice clean park with pretty good coasters and a BIG selection of rides like Hersheypark.

^ well they couldn't have done worse. I'm jsut happy they aren't getting nothing or a clone....This is a great ride and should become the multi-looper in the next couple years for parks, much like the arrow loopers.

Yeah I have gone during summer operation and the lines aren't too bad, the longest I've seen is always Comet. I mean even SR on a Sunday in the summer I waited maybe 20 minutes. After a year this ride will not be a long wait. The new flat looks cool too.....they have so many rides to choose from, if only Great Adventure did.

Hersheypark may not build the tallest and fastest but it's one of the best parks I've been too. They really have balanced out their selection of rides. I bring my 7 year old daughter there every year and have a great time. Next she she will be able to ride SR & Great Bear next year!! I'm so looking forward to riding this coaster.

People complain no matter what the park does, if they added a flat people would be like "they didn't add a coaster". Just be happy the park is getting something different and new. UGH

I'd have to say Lighting Loops at Gadv. It's removed now but I was about to get on (first looping coaster) and some guy was like "Didn't some girl get killed on this?" Well I remembered hearing about that and I walked all the way back down..lol..Now I WISH I would have got on.

I dont know what it will be but I really hope they don't take out Canyon River Rapids.....it's one of the best I've been on and its a great family ride that always has a long line.

I have been looking at Screamscape.com and they seem to have info or think that they are removing Canyon River Rapids....That is kind of insane since the line for that is always long plus it's one of the best I've been on. Hopefully it's not true.
