The news of the day while I was at Coasterstock, is snapping on the Gliders is now banned, started at 10 pm Saturday right when ERT began. It's not just ki, but all cf flying scooter rides are now banned from it. No more FUN on the Gliders!

Indeed! Maybe he's forgetting about the KI twitter post saying "People will come, people will most defiantly come". Kings Island's been hinting at stuff ever since the 2016 announcement for 2017. I doubt they would be doing this if they wasn't getting something for next year.

That's really good growth in attendance for Knott's! They brought back some of the theming to the park, hopefully they can do that to some of their other parks also!

Hope they don't remove the flume. They could move it to the Coney Mall part if they needed that space.

I liked the Beastie name too. Didn't it used to have a tunnel? It woulda been nice if they kept the tree arbor between Planet snoopy and Rivertown. KI needs more shade like that.

Oh man I remember last year at KI's Coasterstock event, the new Larson model they got there was a few people who could snap them really good! Especially when the park closed during the night, and it was one of the ERT deals, one dude snapped them like crazy! I tried but didn't do it unfortunately. I'll try again this year!

If its not a coaster then some fans for KD will never be satisfied... Look you still have your Antique Car ride (KI lost), your original Flying Eagles (KI lost and wants returned), tons of tree's and greenery plus flowers making the park beautiful! A huge Ferris Wheel, an Intamin Giga coaster, a nice entrance, an expanded Planet Snoopy, and a new Delirium ride.

Wow good find Dorneykid! Do you or anyone else know if the tower was closed then too when that pic was taken in 2013? Could be it was just a coincidence it was closed on opening day, when the newer tweet was sent. This is leaning more to something big I think.

Anyone think they could remove the Dino Theater and put something there, either move something there or put something new there? I think they could, how long has it sat unused?

It is the first park in the chain to start teasing for 2017 right? It's gotta be a pretty big investment whatever it is.

Matt Ouimet has already said they are not getting a gate coaster. All of Cedar Fair's parks should not be the same, that would be boring. It would be great if they kept bringing back some of the stuff they took out, Winnie Witch's Cauldrons (to keep KI as the number 1 Kids Area), Les Taxi too!

Someone on Facebook said that Cincinnati Financial bought it out. Agreed! People are asking for more tree's/greenery plus flowers to make the park more beautiful, like it used to be, instead they tease about falling tree's? . Hope its just a tease and if they do, at least plant more

^Dodgem, The Racer, Scrambler, Monster, Grand Carousel, Linus' Beetle Bugs, Woodstock Express, and the Eiffel Tower if you call it a ride. Probably a few more too.

If they wanted to tick a lot of people off, they would remove the flume ride. I hope they are smarter then that. The park should try to keep its history alive and not tear it down. Its one of the few remaining rides that the park still has when it opened.

It would be neat if they had Diamondback and a Giga Coaster right next to each other, looking up seeing two big coasters! Wow! I doubt it though. Might be another log ride. Love the speculation!
