Right outside the park at Chocolate World they updated their dark ride. Also, Coal Cracker is one of the best log flumes out there in my opinion! Tidal Force is by far the wettest ride I've ever been on, and it feels like you're being drowned for what feels like forever. So I'd only do that if you were going to the water park. The flat ride selection isn't that good, but they have a Whip and The Claw. Frontier Flyers isn't anything special, but it's one of the better Larson Flyers out there. And they also have a Huss Condor which is pretty rare, plus nearly every family ride imaginable.

^Yes, Exterminator should be the first ride. Then you should do the other rides in that section, then slowly move out to the center, then front areas while going on the big rides as you go along. I'm not really sure what you're talking about in the second half of your post, are you asking about any breweries you can bring your own food into? -
There are anti-snapping workers at every park, even a rare few at Knoebels! At pretty much any park, there's some operators who allow snapping, and some who don't. As long as it doesn't specifically say "no snapping" (snapping doesn't always have to involve violent sail-whipping) on the sign, I'd say go ahead. Even if they stop the ride early, you could just come back later and they won't recognize you or there will be a different ride operator. And I'm pretty sure you can't get kicked out of the park for something like that. If a rude or angry teenage worker on a "family" flat ride could ban you from the park at any moment even if it's not for breaking any rules, it would be complete chaos.

I think that people are really exaggerating about how bad Steel Force is. I actually really like it, and it's my second favorite ride in the park, although it's by far the weakest hyper coaster I've been on. It's just one of those coasters that isn't that insane, but I just have a lot of fun on it and it's pretty underrated. There was a lot of nice floater airtime when I rode it, the speed is good in the first half of the ride, and I actually loved the long helix. But Dorney Park definitely needs a modern wooden coaster. I'm not sure about a GCI, but maybe a Gravity Group coaster would be the right option. They might consider going with a compact one, not as small as Wooden Warrior, but more on the scale of Grona Lund's Twister or Zippin Pippin, because obviously the capacity won't be that much of an issue. The reason why I wouldn't be as excited about a GCI is that they really need a coaster that completely focuses on airtime.

Twister is fantastic! It was really smooth the past few seasons, and they did a little more work. It obviously has the insane laterals in every turn and of course the epic helix! There's even some forces in between the split lift hill. But there is also some fun airtime. There's nice floater air in the back row on the first drop, then the second drop has some stronger airtime, then as you go through the twisted hills at the end underneath the wooden structure you get some nice ejector air on one of those hills along with some more small floater air pops. And the head-choppers are great because of the supports as well as the tunnel near the end. And also, this is a totally awesome night ride. This coaster gave me one of the best night rides I ever had since it's super dark in that section at night, and the head-choppers and tunnels make it even more disorienting. And since it is right next to some campsites, it always smells like campfires!!! -

Basically listen to coasterbill since he pretty much mentioned everything. I'd probably put in the Whip since those are nice and not as common as other family rides. Also some good food is their Bavarian pretzel ham sandwiches and alligator bites. But you'll probably be too stuffed. The first ride you do should be Flying Turns, then the other rides in the area, then I usually get to the front of the park near Impulse to the Bumper Cars. Then I'd get food, then do everything else. If the park is crowded, the lines will still be manageable compared to other parks since the operations are great, even with one-train operations, and there's such a ridiculous amount of important/major/popular rides and attractions that everyone is sort of spread out equally. -
In the back row it was still pretty smooth, only a slight rattle like most old B&M floorless coasters have near the back of the train. And I love the jo-jo roll, the drop is actually really fun, and the first turn was pretty forceful when I rode it. Other than that, it's pretty forceless. But it's still a really fun ride, it's just not mind-blowing.

I haven't been there yet, but I've been on similar/cloned flat rides at other parks, since I'm a huge flat ride fan. So here are some recommendations: There's a Bisch-Rocco flyer at Carowinds that everyone loves, so if you have some snapping experience with that one, the Flying Eagles were made by the same manufacturer, so that's something you should do. There's also Delirium, Drop Tower, The Crypt, Windseeker, and some other thrill rides as well as tons of family-friendly flat rides.

Not the quickest response, but the back BY FAR! Just wait until you get to the drop coming out of the mid-course. Let's just say those brakes are there for a reason... -
I was expecting Steel Force to be my favorite at Dorney, and it delivered what I expected. It's just fast and fun with good floater air, not the best hyper, but nice. But Talon blew me away! It's still in my bottom-half of inverts I've been on, but that's just because those types of coasters have incredible layouts. It's one of those rides where you can't really judge it by the POV, just like most inverts. It has great forces, and I love the forceful turns close to the ground hidden by the trees with the flowers that make it smell so good!

^I agree, they should be blowing people away like they were in past seasons. It's very weird and unprofessional. The only time I visited a closed park when it was supposed to be open was Keansburg. Also during my last visit to Morey's a few weeks ago the Ghost Ship was supposed to be open at 5, but when we left at 6 it still was closed, even though there was a big crowd waiting to get in. And none of the staff had any idea what was going on, and they didn't care. I just can't get over how the operators seem to be actively going out of their way to not care. I'm just worried that the park is going to become too Six-Flagsish with their staff. At least if Six Flags Magic Mountain closed for no reason, they would at least have the hospitality to have a moose out front! -
I'm pretty sure that they're Bisch-Rocco Flyers that had some work on it done by Larson. But it's not a Larson entirely, so I could see how it could snap. I mean, the "unsnappable" flyers at Lake Compounce were snapping like crazy and was the best flat ride in the park. So I follow the rule that it's not a Larson, it can snap. Even when other people don't agree, that rule always seems to work for me no matter what.

^I have no clue what's going on with them this year. It's a complete mess so far. All the ride operators are clueless, the workers are unhelpful, the ride inspections are being half-assed, and now they're straight-up pulling a Wally World!?!? It's a great park, and I've grown up with this place for my whole life, most of these problems never occurred during other seasons, even in early June. So no, this hasn't happened to me. On the bright side, though, it seems like they're cutting back on their staff budget, so maybe they can have the money to get that new coaster. But even I'm not that optimistic about that either, the Morey's Piers GCI Coaster is basically the Half Life 3 of the amusement industry. -
I've just been on Bizarro, Hydra, and the Dark Knight in New England. The Dark Knight was a lot of fun, but pretty tame, and it's by far my least favorite. Bizarro is the best one I've been on, even though it wasn't running quite as great this season. But it still has decent forces, a fun layout and pacing, and even a little airtime/hang-time! Hydra is in the middle. I think it's a great ride. The drop in the back row is surprising, that first turn is forceful, and I love the jo-jo roll. The other inversions in the first half are pretty fun. The problem that keeps Hydra from being ranked higher is that the second half is nice, but really disappointing compared to the first few elements.

#KDproject2017 weird. way too large an area for fireworks. the fact that it's right next to i305 in plain sight means it's probably not a storage facility. and it's way too far away to be a new ride. i guess the optimist in me could say something like "well, it could be a turnaround for a big B&M ... " but i don't want to get my hopes up. Ooh! It's an RMC themed to bulldozers! Bulldozer Bull Dozer Bull Dozen Kings Dominion is getting 12 dueling El Toro clones! AND DIGGERLAND T REX 2069 CUNTFIRMED!

^I've also been on those 4 whips, and I think that the one at Kennywood is by far the best one. It ran a very long cycle and it felt like the "whip" part of it was stronger. -

You don't need that much time if you're running through the park quickly and just doing the coasters mostly. But I'd recommend taking your time since it's a really nice park with a great classic atmosphere, the food is good (they have potato patch fries!), and the non-coaster ride collection is fantastic. The flat rides are great since they have a Bisch-Rocco Flyer, Zamperla Disk-O, S&S Turbo Drop Tower, the world's fastest Wave Swinger and an S&S SCREAMIN' SWING! They have a shooting dark ride, a log flume that seems really good, and the really cool Skyride. If you finish the park early, I'd also go to Quassy.
