I went yesterday and after a few rides I feel it does seem to let off just a little towards the top. It was ripping me out the first hump, but now seems to be a little more gentle. I can say after that it's is still balls to the walls crazy awesome. It's not being braked at the top, but it does seem to let off a little early now. Please don't let my opinion dampen your excitement at all because it still is the best coaster all around. It still is having some TC time throughout the day, but not as much as before. Still only one train.

Rain and Thunderstorms have been off and on since 5pm today. Do to the remote location of daredevil falls and it not having a lot of lightning around it I think it close every evening once it gets dark for safety. Everything else stays open as far as I know.

Dollywood is open till midnight today for the very first time ever. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Today LR was only down for 30 minutes. It was open for 12 hours today, Not to bad!

Not rode it yet. Looks like 1 train.

A very hot mugie day at Dollywood. LR opened with the park and has had over an hour wait all day with no down time.

I have a feeling whoever keeps the wait time for Thunderhead maybe hit the moonshine a little early. What a wait time

I got a night ride on Lightning Rod tonight and the only bad part of it was the Lightning Bugs hitting you in the face. It was very hot and humid today and probably really put the cooling part of the launch to the test. It was 90 with a humidity level of like 90%. The fireworks are as good as ever and dropLine doesn't run during the Fireworks due to being close to the place they set them off. As I said earlier the Lightning package is great with a lot of movement and color changes. My pictures do t do it justice. I will post a picture of Lightning Rod later.

I can also confirm it is still as wild as ever. It was always let off a little at the top. Also I can confirm the lighting package on drop tower looks awesome

In line now. Noticed on the new video in the que it says it go to 47 mph in 2.2 seconds. I will upload a video of the launch later.

Did anyone go yesterday or today? A new rumor is going around that the launch has been slowed down a lot.

Dollywood should have used Unicorn Barf, but decided to go with a new company for the launch that used a prototype Unicorn Farts.

I heard the reason for the closing was the coaster was run on unicorn farts and someone left the valve open on the container the farts were stored in and they had to wait on a new shipment from never never land. I know this because I'm a contractor that specializes in unicorn fart structures.

I knew it was too good to be true!!! It back up....

^ could be adding or taking off a train. Also if someone gets sick they do that as well. It opened back with in 20 minutes

No kidding, I will be there from June 25-30th, so hopefully those wait times stay that way! Make room in your top 10 for Dollywood's coasters. Vegas is my favorite non amusement park!

The only reason for that truck to be tailgating you is if you where guilty of having a Hillary for president bumper sticker or something. . Ok other then that sounds like you found heaven at DreamMore! It's a tribute to Dolly and all things southern.

Is that a gut feeling or...? (I'm going this weekend and really hoping it's open.) The only thing I can say is don't go this weekend hoping it's open as that's not the plan. The good news is it's seems to be testing great and anything could happen. Sorry I can't be anymore help then that as I can't revile my source.

Bad News, Good News... I have a good feeling it will be sometime next week before we see it open back for GP to ride. They are doing some serious testing hopefully working out the problems and coming up with some solutions to the issues plaguing LR. I know that suck for those now through the weekend, but hopefully it will be better long run.

Just left the park and LR has been testing 2 trains nonstop all day. That seems like a good sign to me.
