I really enjoyed my rides on Thunderhawk during my first visit to Dorney Park back in June. I really liked it how Thunderhawk's trains have buzz bars, which in my opinion produces a smoother ride. The lead car on the new trains for next year look different and kind of ugly. I also don't like it how the new trains have ratcheting lap bars. Does anyone know if the cars will still be three rows (Six riders per car)? Hopefully the new trains give just as smooth of a ride that I had during my visit to Dorney Park back in June! At least they're not getting rid of Thunderhawk.
Yes, it appears that it is Rush Street Flyer from Six Flags St. Louis. I wonder they didn't go with the original Gravitor ride (Gosetto Party Dance)? I'm glad they decided to keep the Chance Falling Star in the Six Flags chain as it is a rare ride nowadays.
Yes, I am excited as well as next June will be my first visit to Cedar Point. I'm looking forward to riding my first Diving coaster! There isn't much to them but, they look like a lot of fun! I also enjoyed (and still do enjoy!) watching Oblivion at Alton Towers on Roller Coaster Tycoon, even though it isn't the real thing! Luckily Cedar Point is only a 6 and a half hours drive (or less) for me.
I have a a list of favourite coasters but, if I were to only pick three, then my favourite coasters would be Vortex at Canada's Wonderland, Vortex at Kings Island, and Talon at Dorney Park.
In my personal opinion, every coaster that I've been on are all my favourite roller coasters (except Wild Beast, Flight Deck, and Time Warp)!
