^^ Ok I tried to make it the thinnest I could without touching the hill into a dive turn with any supports and it does look a bit better. I'm still working on making it smooth up there since making it smaller cause some big bumps. ^ I think mine cost somewhere around $170 but I can't really remember. I hope I can upgrade my computer soon though and get some PCI X16 slots. Now for an update. I have completed supporting on the first hill after the tophat and am now moving on to the turnaround. I probably won't start it until tomorrow and I will also get in some terraining while I can. Now for some pics.

^^ Im using the Radeon X700 AGP X8 with 265mb of memory and its pretty good for playing games on high detail. Currently im working on some more supports but they are taking awhile since I am getting them like intamin does instea of just some cheap custom support like I usually do. However I might start some terraining tonight or tomorrow.

Ok well I have made some progress with the Xcelerator supports and I think they are the ones im going with. I did make a central support going up to the top of the tower which I am not sure if I will keep yet though. Here are some pics of progress. P.S. Don't mind the colors, I am mixing around with them to see which set is best.
-
^Yea I too agree that the tower looks too wide with the old supports, however I might take out one of the vertical supports leaving it with only 4 and see if I can make it look less cluttered and wide. If not im just gonna stay with the new set of supports and see how a central tower going up will look like.

It's ok I've seen that happen a couple times where people mistake stuff for other things and it turns into a big arguement. Well for progress on the coaster I have tried out Xcel's supports and I must say they look way better, I will show 2 pictures to compare the ones I first used to the ones I have now. I love how the old supports have awesome head choppers but the new ones look nice. You guys tell me whats good. Old Supports New Supports
-
Well I would lower the cars to 5 but it would totally screw up the g-forces I made already so i'll see what I can do about that. For now I need to work on the tower's supports. However this is not final and I WILL most likely change the supports to the ones Xcelerator has since it will fit the height of the coaster better. I'll post some progress sooon.

EDIT: Look at the bottom of post for a pic of the completed ride and the download. Ok so I've been working for a few weeks now on what I think a real intamin accelerator should be. Sure I know it's not realisticly possible to have a long accel coaster like the one I am about to present but it should would be much more fun than "Launch, tower, hill". So far I have most of the track finished and I am currently working on supports and terraforming. I might tweak the track here and there to get it perfectly right and will ask for some testers when the time comes, which should be soon. Feel free to comment in any way you want, negatively or not. Thanks to anyone who does. Now for some pics of progress. UPDATE!: Ok, so the ride is finally complete. I really didnt have much time to check over everything and make sure it is all good, so please tell me if anything is off or wrong. I used NL v1.55 so no advanced friction here. Please download and comment. Enjoy UPDATE!: The video is finally up on youtube. Tomorrow I will upload it to a site so people can download the file, but for now enjoy the youtube video . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwVwm2CTJFY Maximum Throttle (final) fixed.nlpack Maximum Throttle. That is the single most funniest episode I have ever watched of the simpsons and I swear right when he said "whe have to fix up the zoominator roller coaster" I sprang from my computer chair and into my couch without touching the ground. I loved how they captured the essence of the coaster enthusiasts too

Flipdude you are truely amazing when it comes to making these comics and that video is just... wow... i cannot stop laughing right now!! Robb is just so... Robb... and elissa has the funniest face i have ever seen on a cartoon character. Also great job on the voice overs! I love these thing and I can't wait to see more.

That. Looks. Amazing Also great job with the coaster. It was really smooth and very fun. -
Well I thought it was pretty good for a 5th coaster compared to other early coasters I have seen. Just smooth out the bumps and try not to make transitions as quick as the new one you implemented as it can cause headbanging in real life and since its quick it would hurt like hell. Other than that not bad. Oh and of course I fixed the track up a bit so if you want just PM me and I could send you what i fixed and explain what i did to make it better.

It was a pretty nice ride. Only problems were the bump at the entrance to the loop and the inline twist which would feel weird and im not sure b&m would ever try that on an invert. IMO the tops of the inversions should have had a bit more forces instead of going really slow and having negative forces. Overall it was a good coaster but could have been better if you fixed some stuff up and made it a bit more forceful. Nice job. -

This was an awesome woddie. Loved the first part with all the twists n turns and that mid course launch was totally unexpected but very nice along with the airtime hills. Just work on the pumping a bit more and you could build some really great rides. Keep up the good work though. -
Do you remember "The Escalator Ride"???

YESS!!! Thank you soo much for the info Kathy. I'm so glad to see S&S not go down under, because it would have been a terrible loss to the theme park community. Good luck to you guys and I can't wait to see many of the new rides being built in the future. Oh and your drop towers roxorz my soxorz . -
Six Flags Hours?
sickskillz14 replied to ParkTrips's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yep looks like they are back up. I guess they brought it down for some changes because the great adventure times look different then before, but for all we know it could have been a server error too. -
Your longest coaster drought?
sickskillz14 replied to canada's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!

Wow i would have jumped out a window if i saw those prices. Im glad i didn't eat up there. It sucks that everything was overpriced. Even the applebees right next to my hotel was like 11 american dollars for a regular cheeseburger.
