  1. ^That would be amazing . I would go on it the whole time.
  2. Yea i got it from the Skylon Tower. It deffinately has one of the best views of the falls. Sucks i didnt get a chance to go into the rotating dinning room. Which always makes me wonder. They must have used some crazy concrete and motors to make that dang thing move. Unless of course the floor is wood. In which case then disregard my last statement
  3. The Magic Ride was like a Tilt O Whirl with less spinning of the cars but still pretty decent forces when you did spin, and the condor was pretty fun. It didnt feel like really a thrill ride though. Went pretty slow but it was nice n relaxing and went pretty high up. They should make them a bit faster though so the cars go beyond a 30 degree angle (guessing the measurement from onride).
  4. Yea, the view is awesome from up there. Only downsides are its expensive and windy as all hell up there. Deffinately worth it though.
  5. Well I just got back around 6 eastern time today from Niagara Falls and must I say it was pretty fun. The only dissapointment is that my parents wouldnt take me to Fantasy Land (or island?) and SFDL . Overall Niagara Falls was fun and exciting not to mention the Journey behind the falls and the Maid of the Mist. Marine Land was also very fun. Only downside is the park is pretty BIG but everything is soo spread out. Not to mention the tripple tower at the top of a hill that takes 10 minutes to get up because the walkway goes around in a circle . Dragon Mountain was pretty decent but you could tell how old it was since it was shaking and bumpy on the straight after the loops and leading into the volcano of nothing. I'm too tired right now to write up a whole trip report of what i did so i will do that tomorrow and just post the pics now. . Enjoy. If anyone wants any of the pics in a bigger size just ask and i will send you the originals. Or if anyone wants me to upload the cheap quality vids of Dragon Mountain just ask. But i had to take 2 diff vids since the camera only records 60 seconds so i missed the part where there is supposed to be the replication of somethin (niagara falls?). Well there is like all metal there. The falls and some of the major hotels and the Skylon Tower which was deffinately my favorite place since it was nearly 775 ft. in the air or somewhere around there. They could really use a nice Kingda Ka clone over at Marine Land for a nice view of the f So much freaking Mist! But hey what can you do about it? Not like you can stop mist from producing when water is pouring in at 39 million gallons a minute. Woah! My South Park shirt glowing in the dark! TACO FLAVORED KISSES! =D Good Bye Niagara Falls. See you sometime in the future Again. On the Maid of the Mist. Overall it was really exciting and I got a nice shower. Up close to the raging water at the bottom of the horshoe falls on the Maid of the Mist. The American Falls. Why do we get the small and cheap falls? =( Horshoe Falls (The Candian Falls) Taste. The. Rainbow... Glow in the dark golf. It was actually fun and they played some decent music. Now if only the ball WANTED TO GO IN THE FREAKIN HOLE! What i had to endure for the 8 hour drive there from New Jersey..... lets just say it wasnt pretty... Yes that is 5! dolphins. Show was pretty cool and entertaining. 3 flipping dolphins. Entrance to Marineland Me on Sky Hawk. Magic Experience. Pretty decent forces. Not what i expected though =( Ohhhh Arrow un-heartlined goodness Super high quality shot of the bowtie? Dragon Mountain pointless straightaway! Random killer whale shot A killer whale doing a twist
  6. Ok well im back from Niagara Falls so here are the photo's of Marine Land I got. Sorry I couldnt get so many. Only had my 32mb card. Someone lost the 128mb one and i had to get a POV of Dragon Mountain so that took up a bit of space. 3 flipping dolphins. Yes that is 5! dolphins. Show was pretty cool Entrance to Marineland Me on Sky Hawk. Magic Experience. Pretty decent forces. Not what i expected though =( Ohhhh Arrow un-heartlined goodness Super high quality shot of the bowtie? Dragon Mountain pointless straightaway! Random killer whale shot A killer whale doing a twist
  7. I found another coaster made by Inverted Technologies. Well not sure if it is the same company but it has the same name and has the same color as in that pic from the site ThrillRider posted. http://www.birket.com/coasterforsale/coasterforsale.htm EDIT: Found a bit of info on the coaster here http://www.coasterglobe.com/features/history-inversion/index.cfm
  8. Hey guys just wanted to let you know i will be going up to Canada this Monday so I should be getting some pics of Marineland. I'll be back around Thursday so expect the pics around then.
  9. Wow awesome job. I love having the video on my ipod and the quality is amazing. Most of the time i just use Pspvideo9 to convert vids for my psp and ipod to .mp4 which gives a little less quality than the vid you posted. I can't wait to see more TPR ipod videos if you decide to actually go forward with it.
  10. Runaway Mine Train at SFGadv. Opened in 1974
  11. Looks like a nicely themed S:TE clone. I just wish that parks would stop being so lazy and decide to come up with their own designs instead of just chosing copies of B&M's. I want to see more original B&M's and see how good B&M can produce.
  12. We shall see where GADV goes with the new management.
  13. Why? Its not that bad of a park. They are actually getting better, just a bit understaffed.
  14. I am truly scared when it comes to heights, but when im on coasters, nothing scares me because you are locked into place and there are very low chances of the restraint opening on newer rides due to many extra safety features, like a locking mechanism incase the restraint breaks and is about to pop open, something pops into place and locks the restraint. Im not sure if thats how it works but i think they would have that on coasters. As far as Kingda Ka, I was just a bit nervous but i knew it wasnt going to be bad. Even though I am terrified of heights, I barely felt the height of the coaster. We were up there in no time and back down in no time. Next time I can't wait to look to the left so I can see the whole park instead of just staring forward at the parking lot.
  15. Rolling Thunder, right side, back row, at SFGadv. Never though it was possible to hurt your ass 5 times during a 1st drop.
  16. When I went down last year it was pretty fun. Got on sea serpent 2 times and Great 'Noreaster 2 times. I loved going on Great 'Noreaster because the GP had no clue how bad the ride was and would curse and complain about the ride. Especially the instant brakes. Sea Serpent was fun too. Never got on Great White though.. my mom said she went and it was really bad... but of course i know she was lieing since she does that alot about coasters, but i didnt ride anyway. Anway, i think the go kart tracks beat the coasters! The tracks are awesome. Especially the one under the boardwalk.
  17. Bus from newark to six flags and back was $19. Yea, toro is not 200/10 its more like 400/10 , but that's just because I haven't ridden many coasters in my lifetime. I hope to get out to SFNE soon and see if S:ROS or Toro is better.
  18. Well here are the pics. (Sorry about the quality. Camera phones suck. Well mine does. Shot of Toro from the entrance of Frontier Adventures. Nitro going up the lift hill. Shot of El Toro while I was in line around 4:30. Toro coming back from the turnaround. 2nd hill of El Toro. Nitro's 2nd hill in the distance. Looking at B:TR while in Nitro's line. The 1st corckscrew on batman, and one of the most intense I have ever felt. S:UF just after it re-opened. Leaving the park after a great day at SFGadv. =D
  19. My first ride on Toro I did what alot of people say to do and just sat forward so when they push it down I can sit back and have an inch of space and wow! I felt like I was going to fly out of my seat! What an intense rush it was, and I also went on it yesterday but staple myself in to see if there was a difference. Nearly the same airtime without the feeling that I was going to die. Just awesome!
  20. My first woodie was El Toro and is one of my favorite coasters of all time. Rolling Thunder would have been first if it wasnt closed when i went last year, but now im glad it wasnt my first.
  21. Today was an awesome day compared to last thursday. Heres how it started off. Got there round 11:20 because i took NJTransit. Get into the park and first thing we go to is Ka. Pretty good wait time. Took roughly hour and a half. Got 6th row on Gak and it was awesome, can't wait to ride this thing front row some day. 10/10. After Ka me and my friend decide to go over to see Toro. Line was all the way to the entrance and we were hungry so we grabbed a churro and went to medusa. Wow what happened to medusa? Barely a line, feels like it lost the B&M touch, headbanging right before MCBR restraint oppened up a bit on the drop. Makes me sad to see this coaster got worse. 8/10 After that we go back to check out Superman and GASM and see that Supermans line is over 2 hours so we skip it and go on GASM. GASM was a walk on for back row on the white train. Wow it was pretty rough today but the ride was decent. 6/10. Next we went over to movietown and got on B:TR. About at 20 minute wait for 3rd row and wow was this thing intense today. I forgot how intense it was from my ride last year. 10/10. After that we went on Nitro which was about a 30 minute wait and was cycling 3 trains but could not let people in 1 for about 15 minutes while i was in line due to someone throwing up in it . Nitro was a great ride, but i just feel that when i first rode it back in '01 it just felt more powerful and now it just feels tame. Got in one of the middle rows so it was a pretty good ride. 10/10. After we went on Nitro we headed straight for skull mountain since my friend and I have not been on that ride in a couple years. Wow i forgot how great that first drop was in the back. Plus my friend is bigger so i had about 2 inches between me and the bar . Awesome ride. 9/10. Next we went back to Superman to find it broke down right when we got there. People were stuck on the brake run right before the final breakrun and the other train was stuck in the final break run. The lady tells us the ride is done for the rest of the day so we just leave. Next we went back to check Toro and it was about 4:20 so we said what the hell and got on line. Moved way faster than when i went last thursday and we got on in roughly 40-50 minutes. They were getting better with 2 train operation, however they had to recheck alot of restraints while i was in the station. Got on back row and once again, BEST RIDE EVER!!! MASSIVE EJECTOR AIR AND THOSE HEADCHOPERS!!! . Anyway yea, 200/10. Next was Rolling Thunder. Never been on it in my whole life and i've been going since 1997. Waited about 50 minutes to get on back row. Wow.... i felt like I was riding a wild horse. It was deffinately not worth the wait and it was too painful to go back on. My friend hurt his ribs and got a headache and I just got a headache from those damn bumps at the bottom of the hills. Never again. 4/10. After that we headed back to Superman to see if it was still closed and it was so we go back on GASM which was again a walk on and get on the back row of the white train. Again a pretty decent ride. 7/10. Next we went back to Superman and saw it re-opened so we get on line and find that there is a 1 train wait for the back so we take it. Awesome ride. Too short, but that Pretzel Loop is worth it. It is overly intense and my favorite part of the ride, other than taking a nap on the final breakrun while they are stacking. 8/10. After that we go back to Movie Town to get our last rides of the day in. We get to B:TR. 1 train wait for second row. Awesome ride once again, really intense. 10/10. My friend nearly passed out so we didnt re ride and instead went to Nitro. Nitro was a 20-30 minute wait and we got on back row. Wow what a difference back row is from the rest of the train. It was awesome and I loved the whole ride. 10/10. Next up was our last ride of the day. Skull Mountain. 1 train wait for back row, so we take it. OMG I just love the first drop in the back row with 2 inches between me and the lap bar. I love my friend and his large stomach . 10/10. After that we go to get some fries and a drink and go back to get on the buss back to Newark. Right before we get on the bus it starts pouring rain so i guess we were really lucky. Overall it was an awesome day compared to my last trip. Wasn't that hot today and the sun was gone for the most part which equaled an awesome time and barely any excrutiating waits. Can't wait to go back for my third trip to six flags.
  22. I think what he is talking about is this. The black is the track and the red is where the train goes. Am i right? Don't mind the crapiness in the drawing
  23. When i went on S:UF the 22nd it hurt my crotch. I guess it was because the way i sat in the seat, but other than that i could have fell asleep because these things are so comfy.
