  1. I searched and didn't really find a thread for this. This is talk about whenever companies announce new products, or just release new products. Express your excitement, boredom, disappointment, whatever I'd like to start by talking about SBF Visa. Now i know not alot of yall care about flat rides as much, but if anyone remembers those Moonraker rides? SBF Visa just released a new version of that ride:
  2. I drew this during a chemistry lecture
  3. As my dream is to open a park in my hometown, if that were to ever happen in the rides with the longer lines i'd build a toilet in the middle of the queue area. That way you can't skip the line completely back to "your place" but you don't piss off EVERYONE and you don't have an excuse to leave completely.
  4. Where is there a single KMG ride in there?
  5. That's not KMG, that's a technical park loop fighter That's not a fabbri pandemonium, that's a SBF space gun Also why do they have 3 big frisbee rides?
  6. Totally agree. Its the first of its kind in the world as far as I'm aware and could produce a really unique ride experience. It's a half pipe coaster with a splash, what's there to like about? So is it really a unique world's first? In my opninion no, and it's the 3rd shutle coaster they're having. Also don't expect a lot of theming. So excuse me for not being overly excited for this ride. It could surprise me, but I'm just not expecting a lot of it. I'm more looking forward to the wooden coaster @ Plopsa, because it's a full circuit coaster, a woodie and it will be nicely themed. To close things up, if you live in Belgium, only get the opportunity to visit 1 park and you want to drive 2 hours for it, which one would you prefer next year? - Walibi (Pulsar and mediocre Vekoma and Gerstlauer launch coasters), - Plopsaland (Heidi coaster, nice theming and a very good Gerstlauer launch coaster) or - Phantasialand (Taron, Black Mamba, Chiapas, theming, etc.)? I rest my case... (not even mentioning Efteling here with it's premium line-up) You know not every new ride needs to be a 600 foot tall inverting rmc monorail track launching wing free fly aquatrax megalite coaster. If it's fun that's far enough. And where in my post exactly am I saying that I want this? This tread is for people to say what announcement for 2016 they don't like. I don't like this one, period, get over it. The park doesn't need a 3rd mediocre shuttle coaster or a 2nd mediocre launched shuttle coaster. Walibi was ones a pioneer in Europe, then went through hell after the Six Flags period and Vertigo debacle. Now they are starting to redeem themselves, however, not with this latest addition. If you want your attendance number to rise again up to the old days and achieve growth in your business; then you have to come up with something other than what you allready have. well not to shit on your shoes but just that it's a shuttle doesn't mean that it is the same as a boomerang. That's a bit like claiming full throttle is like revolution and that's why they shouldn't have gotten it because it's a full circuit coaster. I can argue even if you tell me to "Get over it". Sorry but what i meant with the "600 foot tall inverting rmc monorail track launching wing free fly aquatrax megalite coaster" was that enthusiasts (you) happen to expect way too much from parks even tho what they're getting is revolutionary to about 90% of the population but they don't realize it because they'll be quick to correct someone and say "Actually *insert maker* made a ride like *insert name* already in *year* so it's not anything NEW"

  8. The 66666666666666666 new larson loopers that six flags is raping their parks with. I'm seriously betting between my friends that Six Flags will put 2 into one park next year and try to make it seem more amazing by putting them next to eachother and naming it like "Batman VS Superman - Battle for Texas"
  9. I survive by going to indoor waterparks
  10. I couldn't specifically find another thread to put this in besides "all about RCT3" So... I don't know if anyone's found this but during a history lecture (which i am on now) i found out that apparently the rct3 polyp ride is based on some strange knockoff from Sinorides. RCT3 polyp: Sinorides polyp:
  11. You do mean an Intamin LSM Launch coaster right? There's no such thing as a "blitz coaster".
  12. what was the company making the SFX coaster again?
  13. That Guigui Rides wild mouse with lifthill It's amazing but i'm pretty sure we did not need to see bulge and tummy
  14. Can someone explain what happened with the boomerang and why it has to be welded constantly?
  15. for some reason in that picture it looks like it, but the seating is actually just four across after a quick google search: It's also hard to tell if this is a knockoff, because the park also has a frisbee-ride from some company that's not very known around the west at least, so since they have a frisbee ride from them it could be an air-race knockoff, who knows.
  16. I'm right on the fence on this... I mean i completely understand both sides
  17. PLEASE Don't call the winged trains the wing rider... There is a clear difference: Wing rider: Wing coaster:
  18. I just saw that they would have a fabbri spinning madness... no... no... NO... NOOOO THAT RIDE IS THE DEFENITION OF PAIN AND DISCOMFORT IT BEATS A VOLARE BY FAR
  19. It looks like there would be: -A topspin and -AN INTAMIN WING RIDER COASTER!!!! YES
  20. I was at Linnanmäki Light Festival yesterday (it was awesome!) and while on the topspin ride (which had changed it's program and was running a bit like a german carnival with the operator having the microphone saying stuff with echo and stuff) I was in the front seat and yelled -"KAIKKI HUUTAA PERUNA" (which means "everyone yell potato") And like the whole 40 person gondola yells potato at the same time
  21. I don't wanna repeat myself, but it's HUGE news and HUGE relief that HUSS has revived the old enterprise as well, because if you want a brand new enterprise, your only choice was... emiliana luna park... Also the condor2 suspended is pretty much an intamin spinning star isn't it?
  22. Not sure how late i am but... HUSS has FINALLY updated their website! And now it has the new catalogue showing the sale of some new "hybrid" models of both the new enterprise and the new condor, and they've revived the old enterprise too!
  23. Something about this whole idea rubs me the wrong way. Some of the artworks like the one with the guy spraying lush while another guy is painting over it just sorta pissed me off because i at least feel it's supposed to paint the latter person as a bad guy, as there's also a picture where they're painting over classical art.
  24. It isn't either, it's a Zamperla Giant Discovery and those are the biggest of the frisbees actually, but i think that more parks should get zamperlas new inverting giant frisbee. (not the midsized one)
