  1. You have just started a war that will overwhelm your TPR life! Knoebels is a sacred piece of theme park existence, i visited for the first time earlier this month. I fail to see how anyone could not appreciate such an outstanding place.
  2. ^ He's not playing around about the pierogies Jarmor, we sought them out by coasterbill's map, and they were so good we got a second order. And also get you a 6 scoop banana split from the Old Mill, those bad boy's ain't no joke. Three of us didn't finish it off.
  3. ^ If you actually read my post you quoted, your resopose makes no sense. Just letting you know.
  4. ^^^^^ I am serious, it's a still frame pic, the person that took it could have just witnessed the testing of a fog machine and took a photo of it. I myself have absolutely no idea what's going on with the coaster. I just would like to think the damn thing i've been trying to get a ride on since i attended the announcement of it's existence last August didn't set it's self on fire. I could be wrong and maybe the problems are very extensive which i hope is not the case. I was just making an observation from the pic, that maybe during the down time they knew they had to have, that they might use that time to work on some bells and whistles that were planned for the ride all along. It makes since to me. Just an opinion.
  5. Could it possibly be that they are just incorporating more effects to the launch? Peeling out hot rods can create quite a bit of smoke, and that would be the exact spot on the coaster where an effect like that would take place. Just a thought.
  6. Goats on the roof seems to be the most forceful in my opinion.
  7. Skyrush, 18 times in 4 days last week. I still have bruises on my legs, but by god i'd get back on if i was still there.
  8. ^ I was there last week, and if your arriving at 7:30 on a Monday, if you walk fast you should be able to get all 14 credits in that 2 and half hours before close. Spend your second day focusing on what you want re-rides of. We were there for 4 days and every night around 7'ish it was as line's for anything became non-existent, even front row for Skyrush was a two train wait at most. (I prefer the back personally) Have an excellent trip, It was my first trip there and i was truly blown away at how great this park is, i'm sure you will be too.
  9. Just give them time and they will add the fans, Firechaser's loading station was miserable on hot days, they just put a fan in this season, it makes a world of difference. It will happen with LR eventually as well.
  10. Cocoa cruiser, the last of all 14 at Hershey over the past two days. God bless Skyrush!
  11. ^ Thanks, From what i've heard about thier exceptional operations on here, i'm sure a reasonable crowd won't cause us any problems.
  12. Um...what? He means food that is so good, it would be worthy of being fed to a god. (i think)
  13. Do the one at Goats on the Roof, it's about 5mins further down the same road, same price, and a bit more intense. Or heck, just do'em both, it'll only be 30 bucks per adult. Kids are only $5 per ride if that applies for you.
  14. ^ She either just had a really bad experience, or a REALLY good one.
  15. ^ I hope it's open by the time i'm there Thursday and Friday two weeks from now. How does it compare to the larger models? And also, what type of crowds should we expect for those two days?
  16. ^ Club sandwich from the Backstage Restaurant, it's made with real chicken and ham, not deli meat. EXTREMELY YUMMY!
  17. ^^ I completely agree, the Larson/ARM tower at Lake Winne literally made me feel as if i was going to die. I've stated before that i feel every park should have one. Larger parks should just get 3 or 4 of these instead of the biggins', 140 ft works with these models. Can't wait to ride the one at Knoebel's in two weeks.
  18. ^^^ &^^^^^ Welcome to trying to get food at any park in a quick fashion (it rarely can be done). Waiting in line for chicken and waffles at Chickie & Pete's behind 4 people almost gave a stroke! But i was prepared for that mentally going in. Pretty good though after the 40min's it took to get it (they hook you up with the maple syrup).
  19. ^^ It most definitely will be indeed.
  20. ^ It has the longest drop in the park "which is what matters in my opinion", but Wild Eagle is taller by 4 feet. (210 vs 206)
  21. It's still there. Sad day, guess it just wasn't picking it up on my phone for some reason. I got all excited.
  22. The disclaimer about it being closed is no longer on the website or the app, at least i couldn't find it.
