I think that is exactly the reason. When Sledgehammer (Bobbejaanland) opened back in 2004, the cycles were short aswell. But the next season, the ride time was much longer.

That is indeed a lot more theming than I expected. I love it! I can not wait to try this coaster at the end of the month!

This. I am more excited for this coaster now that I know it won't be a spinner. I think a spinner would have ruined the layout. But that is just my opinion, of course.
