  1. Not to mention, capacity would easily top 20 people an hour.... OR MORE!
  2. That's all fine and dandy til you have to do anything more than a 1.5 pullout on a valley and your chest caves in. Do you realize how uncomfortable if would be for your neck to have to hold the weight of your head in those pullouts too? I'm not trying to put you down or nothing, as new inventions happen every day, but I personally don't like any flying coasters that much for neck reasons anyway.
  3. Thanks for unearthing this Jarvis. You can give me my propers for calling this before they even built Skull Island now if you'd like. It's funny, I read the thread title and thought "Who talks like that??" Oops
  4. All I know is whoever is in the back seat of that train is in for some killer ejector airtime.
  5. What a coup, IMO. I thought SWAT was a veritable given for SFGAd. Congrats. Maybe I'll get to ride it next year :o
  6. Popcorns gone now, I'm fat. Gotta go purge. Maybe next time.
  7. Hell yeah! I'm popping popcorn now! I'll be right here!
  8. I believe the quote was ... "It's not a Prrrrrrrerrrrrie Dog" Elissa = accent girl.
  9. I hate that my memory of a park is going to be forever marred by really crappy workers who obviously "mailed it in" the second to last weekend of operation.
  10. Goliath seems to get a lot of people, but you can tell the regional influence of this board. Titan would kill some folk with it's extra high speed upwards helix. I called Alicia after me and Tummy got off of it and told her I didn't know if I'd recommend her even riding it. :?
  11. My girlfriend Alicia greys out on anything remotely positive G'riffic. She even blacks out for the first few seconds at the bottom of Milf Force. I never black and only have greyed out once on Tennessee Tornado when I hadn't eaten. For the record, I didn't have any ill effects from Goliath or Titan.
  12. Won't take nearly as long to top off either with it's 45 degree lift hill. Think Batman Dark Knight at SFNE.
  13. Nope, but me and Tommy swore we saw Elissa working the Boomerang at Six Flags TexMex in San Antonio yesterday. 8)
  14. Might wanna hold off posting the TR til the pics are ready. Hopefully you'll have a picture of your namesake, too. 8)
  15. I love Crapper's Smokehouse! 8)
  16. ^ I just realized after all this time that that's a dude kissing you in your avatar.
  17. And, as me and my gf found out, sometimes not during Howl-o-Scream!
  18. Great TR McCraiggers. I enjoy a good photo TR. Now I'm going to get back up. Wish me luck. 8)
  19. <-- Gives you a high five.
  20. If Dan Snyder buys Six Flags, he will turn it around and make $$. But I don't see it being a positive for most enthusiasts. Less big ticket rides/coasters, and more expensive season passes, and maybe a few other things that might annoy us. But it will make $$. Snyder is a shrewd businessman and he won't go all in and not be profitable.
  21. ^ What construction photos? The internet wasn't invented until Al Gore.
  22. I actually support fat people that go to parks who can enjoy themselves without riding coasters. They help the parks bottom line with admission, help it again by eating 8 times a day, and then help me by not being anywhere in front of me in line for rolley rides!
  23. Thunder Dolphin also uses the cable lift : http://www.rcdb.com/ig1845.htm?picture=26 Not to mention, El Toro will be taller than both Expedition GeForce as well as Goliath at Walibi, so the "it's not tall enough" doesn't hold a lot of water, imo.
  24. ^ Tommy is definitely one of those. He's also a huge Dolly Parton and Tammy Faye Baker/Messner mark. Bet not tell Shaggy and Violent J about that one.
  25. Cyclone... when running trimless is a frightening experience. Sadly, if you don't go in the first two weekends of operation every year, you'll never know what it's like. Over 250 coasters (not that that means anything, but it does show I've ridden enough to have a decent opinion) and it's my favorite wooden coaster.
