  1. I saw Mad Max in iSense 3D at the Odeon and it was epic! If you like cars, action or Australian dudes dressed up weird then I would recommend 100% you go and see this movie. It blew me away. The action is so well done, the lore of the land is not explained, there is hardly any exposition which is great. As viewers we're allowed to use our brains to figure it out. The character designs are fantastic and the cars, omg the cars, they are detailed, extraordinary beasties. They should totally make a HHN out of this film, it would be amazing. I would also recommend seeing it in 4K or imax as it really does the move justice. 3D was meh, because i wanted to see it in 4k i had no choice but to see it in 3d too. Immortian Joe - Mediocre!
  2. ^ I thought the rules of this was you had to have ridden the coaster? I am very impressed if you've ridden Mako already. However Nemesis - Alton Towers UK
  3. Yes amazing! Please give me more concept art. I love concept art!
  4. OK BF and I are definitely eating here when we visit in September! Thanks for the photos!
  5. ^ I know, but its just my opinion I'm happy Seaworld is going to get better attendance due to this coaster, I think it needs it.
  6. They may be seportate budgets but there's got to be a big wig in the company that decides the ratio of one to the other. Sets the budgets. I'm sure that they must cannibalize budgets to each other as most companies do. They will choose what their focus is going to be and delegate capital investment to the focus. I just want to say I'm happy about the coaster but I would prefer the tanks in Florida were confirmed before confirming a new coaster.
  7. Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit - Universal Studios Florida
  8. Firstly let me make it clear I'm dead excited about this coaster. I will definitely attend Sea World and ride this bad boy. However it seems to me that SWO seem to be back pedding on their idea of "One Ocean" which makes me sad I really liked the look of the new tanks for the whales and it would have made me feel better about SeaWorld in the wake of the whole BlackFish mess. I don't agree with that movie, but I do think Sea World needs to update the sea animals habitats 1st and not build new coasters. I know this opinion may not make me popular but its what I think.
  9. It all depends on what you want, although your post is a tad vague. In my opinion the best holiday (vacation) destination is Walt Disney World. Its got the biggest selection of hotels and parks, lovely weather and has absolutely loads to do. You can easily fill 2 weeks and more with the amount to do. The best Disney resort in general, in my opinion is Tokyo Disney. Its got the best detail and amazing hotels. The cast members are amazing and the culture fascinating. However its expensive and busy. I also visit Disneyland Paris a fair bit because it is close to me. One of the parks is amazing the other is poor and overall the resort is in desperate need of some love but for me its the cheapest to visit.
  10. Do they have to be operating? Yosemite Mine Train (1991 to 1996) - American Adventure Theme Park, Derbyshire, UK
  11. roller coaster tycoon 2
  12. This looks like so much fun. I had no idea you guys knew the attractions magazine crew
  13. OK so the ride looks good but it also looks just like an rails shooter that you'd find in any arcade, like house of the dead. Its a bit uncanny and a tiny bit off putting. I do quite like these type of rides because i think its a real social ride but there's also something about them that feels like a computer game. Don't mess with the first person shooter! Don't mess with the first person shooter!
  14. I agree, I mean I do like both Tomb Blaster and Duel. I was a bit sad when they upgraded tomb blaster because of all the nostalgia of the old ride which I used to absolutely love as a kid! But, they were good overlays of existing rides in my opinion. But I just have a gut feeling (which may be completely unfounded) that this will be a screen based shooter. basically and arcade game that moves. Rides like toy story mania, the new justice league ride at six flags over texas and Voyage to the Iron Reef. Its not what the sort of dark ride I want but i think its what we're gonna get
  15. And they're so popular at the moment. Every park seems to be getting a shooter of some kind. I don't totally hate the idea, especially if its well themed with practical effects.
  16. This ride looks fantastic. It looks the the designer just sat down and said i want to make a "fun" roller coaster. A roller coaster that plays with its riders and is a little bit (ok maybe a lot) nuts! Love it
  17. OK I've had a thought. What if this new "dark ride" is going to be a screen based shooter. To me it makes total sense. its not that expensive and has total re-ride ability? A Dr. Who themed screen based shooter. Like Toy Story Midway Mania. I'll put my money on that
  18. Love the joker animatronic, he's just as impressive now as he was in IAAPA. however I'm not sold on the CGI. It looks like a PS2 game. I don't understand why ride movies suffer so much with this (not all ride moves of course) but for a pre-rendered movie in 2015 I expect more. Still looks fun!
  19. Amazing! Thanks for the video. How loud is this coaster? Does it roar or does it whisper like a breeze? If it whispers then Alton Towers I'm talking to you, get one of these in the UK NOW!
  20. I agree, after watching episode 6 I'm quite saddened by this season. Last season was amazing, more than once I walked away from an episode thinking ohhhhh that was good. This season is just meh and episode 6 was just horrible.
  21. I do love Aquatopia. We just couldn't stop laughing the whole way round. It just seemed so silly and pointless but yet hilarious! Maybe they could make it fit. Getting in a submarine to visit the world under the sea, but fair point about turtle talk with crush... they managed to fit that into a turn of the century american port town. Great view however
  22. Its a bit of a strange fit putting Nemo in that area. Its kinda futuristic/steam punk port area where as finding nemo is fully ground in the "real world" which is evident when we're in the dentist scenes in the movie. It won't matter in the grand scheme of things but still...
  23. Hey probably the worse queue's you'll get will be 45 - 60 mins for the most popular rides and 5 - 20 mins for the others. However most of the school trips leave at 3pm so if you stay until closing you can get rides in at the end of the day.
  24. Granted, but it would be rough, like riding the back of a crocodile I wish I could live in Cinderella castle.
  25. My great grandmother about 10 years ago. When was the last time you visited a Disney park?
