I've settled on Sunday, May 15 as the day I will visit Cedar Point. Is Valravn expected to be open by then? Should I bother splurging on FastLane+?

It seems I picked a good summer to make my first visit to Cedar Point.

Some of us actually enjoy The Dark Knight. It's gotta be one of the smoothest Wild Mouse coasters I've ever ridden.

I just saw this paragraph on the Platinum Passholder Benefits section of Cedar Point's web-site. I like how they added Valravn to the list of early entry rides.

Thanks for letting me know. I was originally planning on spending only one day at the park, but since I have a Dorney Park Platinum Season Pass, I may spend two days. The other two parks I plan on hitting up in my "Upper Mid-West Coaster Trip" are Valleyfair and Michigan's Adventure, so I'm pretty sure I can hit everything in those two parks by spending one day at each.

Does the park get crowded enough on a weekday to warrant Fast Lane?

I went on a Wednesday this past June and the longest line was for Laff Trakk, which was expected since it was the new hotness. All of the other coasters had reasonable wait times.

How do you know they're selling the parks?

I would have to agree with your opinion about the park. I went on a weekday back in June and really enjoyed my day there. I even had a family let me share their Ferris wheel gondola since Hershey doesn't allow single riders.

I don't like Green Lantern because after both times I rode it, my crotch was in pain. I don't enjoy riding coasters that give me pain.

My kids are past that age- however, this would be the area of the park I'd expect to have a "crowd" so to say! I saw plenty of strollers in the park as I was leaving yesterday, and many more coming in! That's great for the park, as little kids will want smores, hot chocolate, etc..... It's not only little kids who want s'mores and hot cocoa. Big kids like myself (36-yrs-old) like those items, too.

I usually get Flash Pass when I go to Great Adventure. Should I skip that when I go December 5?

I'll have to wait until the first weekend of December to go. I've got plans with family out in PA this weekend. I went to my first metal concert this past Saturday and was recovering on Sunday.
