  1. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/indiana-jones-adventure/ It's about time this ride got a rehab!
  2. Knotts doesn't need another water ride, they already have Big Foot Rapids and the Log Ride. And if they turn the water falls back on for Big Foot Rapids they will have one ride that can soak you like PP did. Also lets not forget that Soak City is literally right across the street.
  3. Castle Park-Friday Univeral Studios Hollywood-Saturday Disneyland-Sunday.
  4. Or at least for Summer 2013. But I doubt that we will see anything new next year at Knott's. I guess Cedar Fair is happy with allowing Knott's to stay a cash cow for the chain without investing any money into the park.
  5. I use Pure Gear, Pure Beats. I love them! You can pick up a pair for under $10 on Amazon.
  6. Thanks for all the answers. I've also asked Six Flags customer services and they said Monday they're expecting less crowd in the park he doesn't even told me about Flash Pass in his answer. I think we will try without Gold Flash Pass first, see how it is and hoping there will be still left in case of crowd coming. And I'll ride as single rider many time because my sweetie will probably don't dear to do rides like LL, X2 or Tatsu. You speak about single rider line for LL, do you know if there is also a single rider line for X2, Tatsu and other major rides? so I can ride them faster while my sweetie wait me. (I'm a big fan of single rider lines, when I'm at a park with my brother many time we use it to re-ride faster). I'm very excited for this visit, following by Knott's Berry Farm on Wednesday and Universal studios on Thursday. Rides that have single rider lines: Green Lantern Drop of Doom Riddlers Revenge Viper Revolution. Neither X2 or Tatsu have them.
  7. The "charm" of Knotts is long gone and never comming back. This comming December will mark the 8th year since Knott's last major addition. That's an awfully long time for Cedar Fairs most attended park to go without a major addition.
  8. ^No they are not. Cedar Fair is much better than Six Flags in pretty much all aspects of running an amusement/theme parks.
  9. $40 a ride?!? People are actually paying this to ride at a fair?!? The mind boggles. And I thought SFMM management had pretty much confirmed they were turning the park back in to the "EXTREME" park. I'd expect the quality of the place to slip back to its previous levels if this is the path they're taking. dt It aready has. On my last visit to the park I saw: Piss poor guest service One train operations on the most popular rides Rides opening late. Closed rides. Overflowing trash cans. Magic Mountain has returned to being the EXTREMELY bad park.
  10. Yep, they've definitely proven themselves. Sure not all these incidents are reflective of the company...but when was the last time Intamin opened a major drop tower? Incidents like these, no matter whether they are caused by the company or not, don't exactly have people clamoring to buy them. Lex Luthor Drop of Doom... doesn't get more major than that. And Drop Tower at Kings Dominion is relatively new too.
  11. ^A one-day ticket is $68.00 online for an adult. Seems pretty inline with the rest of the country's major theme parks.
  12. This ERT on drop of Doom is amazing! It's 10:10am and still haven't been let into the park. If any of you have the ERT voucher later this week, I suggest not even comming as the park is clearly not prepared. Typical Magic Montain.
  13. A great new POV of the ride. Disney, please bring this to DCA!
  14. I've been on the right 12 times and all 12 times have been through single rider. The longest I've waited was 45 minutes and the shortest 15mins. And all those times the stand by line was between 150-240mins! And like others have said, the single rider line has a dedecated queue line with its own wait time clock at the entrance to the ride.
  15. ^Agreed. I love the jokes and the Spanish safety spiel that Mater does between each ride cycle. I just wish they built the Mater animatronic originally planned for the ride.
  16. 1 million riders and the ride has barely been open for 3 full months and only officially been open little over one month. Impressive. This is going to be a record setting year for USH. I know Potter is comming, but I hope this grabs the attention of Universal higher ups and they start figuring out a way to expand the themepark.
  17. I'm surprised Travel Channel was able to fit in a show that's not called Man vs Food or Ghost Adventures. These new coaster shows give me a reason to watch the Travel Channel again. Hopefully they air all the episodes.
