  1. Superman - Ultimate Flight Batman the Ride This is Six Flags Yeah but I thought they'd spend at least A LITTLE more on the biggest SF park, and the biggest money maker in the chain
  2. I just can't believe it's an exact clone of the SFFT version, maybe there's a 2nd coaster for 2016...this seems extremely frugal
  3. And it's not even the bigger model like rumored, hmmmmmm
  4. And there we have it!! Not liking the colors though, oh well
  5. I'm looking at the potato salad and I don't see any mayonnaise, maybe that's what was missing J/K
  6. A 4D coaster makes more sense at Gradv from a marketing standpoint than anything else. It's like what do you add in a park that already has a stellar line-up? There's not much the GP who goes to Gradv hasnt already seen. They have one of the biggest, baddest launched coasters in the world. One of the biggest, baddest wooden coasters. An award winning hyper. Almost the entire catalogue of B&M looping coasters, multiple family coasters etc While yes, an RMC, Premier launcher, Wing Coaster, or Giga are what the enthusiasts want. A 4D will probably give SF more return on investment than the others. A 4D will attract attention, while simultaneously fitting into Six Flags' parsimonious portfolio
  7. ^I agree Skyrush and i305 are vastly different, I rode them a day apart. I305 is a lot more intense and focuses primarily on positive and lateral Gs. While Skyrush is a lot more airtime focused. The only similarity other than them both being Intamin, is the GPs reluctance to ride them. Though Skyrush seemed to be a little more popular at Hershey than I305 was at KD.
  8. SFMM has worked them frequently as well, Superman TE, Superman EFK, Lex Luthor, Freefall, Green Lantern, and Shockwave. Intamin was somehow involved in Revolution's construction as well I believed
  9. Spinsanity sounds flatride-ish and might be a turn off for guests who are unsure of whether to ride or not. I find the rumor of the Full Throttle name being tossed around interesting. I think Full Throttle would be a great fit for a ride like this.
  10. Now watch the parents of the two teenagers try and sue the owner of the car. Good ol' 'Merica
  11. An RMC would be perfect at this park, well at any park for that matter
  12. As bad as this ride was, this picture made me feel some kinda way. Spent my childhood riding it, so many childhood memories with friends getting off the ride and saying how horrible it was...then getting back in line.
  13. Would make sense, considering Six Flags seems to have a great working relationship with them. Hopefully we dont have a Goliath (SFNE) type situation though
  14. Wow, fantastic photos!! Any time I see pics and/or video from Japan, everything always looks so neat/nifty
  15. If Rev does indeed get a restoration, I wonder which manufacturer will do the trains. I'd imagine Gerstlauer (who did Sooperdooperlooper) is out of the equation. Which is unfortunate because I really liked those trains when I was at Hershey last week.
  16. ^Interesting, so I'm assuming subsequent installations of the ride will each be $6 million cheaper than the initial two installations provided they use the exact same format etc? Pretty smart investment on Six Flags part
  17. Some great pictures, particularly love the one of Banshee
  18. So this particular JL won't go into an old buidling, but a completely new structure being erected to house it? Kinda makes me wonder what the actual costs of these rides are. Especially considering Six Flags has been installing budget rides/coasters for the better part of a decade now.
  19. Mako will feature three trains of seven cars each when it opens. But yes, through 2015, that is correct. In 2011 (possibly 2012 as well), Green Lantern at Great Adventure ran three trains of seven cars each. The third train was shipped to Magic Mountain for use on Riddlers Revenge. I don't know how many trains it ran at Kentucky Kingdom. I believe it was the other way around, MM shipped off Riddler's 3rd to train to Gradv to use on GL...as Chang only had two 7 car trains. Gradv has since sent Riddler's train back to MM and it still has the Green Lantern paint job with the lime green stripe across the side.
