Goliath is extremely popular with the GP, the ride almost always has a line. I'd also assume the ride is fairly easy to maintain, other than the brake pads they go through for the mid course So yeah, I don't see them removing Goliath, and if they did a 'traditional hyper' wouldn't fit in its spot.

I know it's not how business works, but it'd be interesting if the individual parks had savings accounts. If SFOT could've saved the money allotted to them from the past 3 seasons, they'd have enough for a pretty decent sized B&M, Intamin, or Mack. But anyhoo, SF eventually will have to install some bigger projects especially in the marquee parks, which built reputations for bigger, better, badder attractions (SFMM, SFGradv, and SFGAM).

Mayyyyyybe SFGAM and SFGradv got the smaller model because they were either preceded or succeeded by another major investment (Justice League) within a year. SFStl hasnt gotten anything significant since 2015, so maybe 2018 is the year we FINALLY see the 10 inversion model. Who am I kidding? Yeah right...
