  1. PSA: If you are one of these dummies planning a trip to this park anytime before Tuesday, June 21 that revolves around riding El Toro, might be a good idea to re-think that. Posted today: And even if they miss their apparent target of a "Spring" opening, they are already setting it up where they can just blame it on the state.
  2. Because it looks dull in any and all marketing?
  3. I fully expect Knoebels to run theirs like this and I absolutely cannot f*cking wait.
  4. One time back during HITP 2016 I kinda uhhh got stuck at the park and couldn't get an Uber/Lyft to come pick up and take me to the Trenton train station and during my panicked and fruitless attempts with my phone dying that very outlet right there saved me, at least until I wound up begging a friend to come scoop me just before park close. RIP trusty outlet, I'll never forget you.
  5. Oh you were just whining just to whine then. That checks out.
  6. Ugh, fall is the best time to go to Hershey. What are they doinggggggg
  7. So you'll splurge on fast pass when you absolutely wouldn't even need it but you're too cheap to pay for unlimited data? Priorities, kids.
  8. ^ If you like wasting money for no reason... sure. If he was going on Saturday or even all day Sunday it would make sense to me but we've been there on Sundays and its always a ghost town. That early in the season? It definitely will be unless its just a freakishly perfect day weather-wise. But if he is there for three hours and nothing has a wait except for Timbers spending $65 just to skip that line seems pointless.
  9. I think on a Sunday in March it will be pretty easy to get the majors done without fast lane in 3 hours. Just head right back to Twisted Timbers and wait however long you have to and then the rest shouldn't be a problem. Maybe hit Backlot next since the line moves slowly. As Bert said I305 doesn't really get long lines except maybe during Haunt, Dominator tends to get lines earlier in the day as its the first coaster anyone passes after entering but after morning rush it dies down. Everything else should be easy - Racer 75 never gets lines and no one can even find Grizzly, and why would you even entertain the idea of riding Anaconda? I honestly would bet that Timbers doesn't even have a long wait on a Sunday afternoon, unless of course its just a freakishly gorgeous day or something.
  10. Don't quote me on this but apparently these are the beams in question. They're being cut down a bit.
  11. Ooooof https://www.mynews13.com/fl/orlando/attractions/2022/03/03/busch-gardens-removes-beams-from-iron-gwazi-after-guest-hits-hand
  12. My thoughts on the Medusa reversion: the ride needed to be painted badly. Yes lots of coasters at GAdv could use some fresh paint but the Bizarro paint has started to chip off considerably the last 2-3 seasons and that old bright green/yellow OG Medusa paint peaking out made it much more noticeable than the other rides in need of paint. Because of this, any new paint would be welcome on this ride, imo, regardless of the theme because it was starting to look really bad. Yes the Medusa/gold rush theming didn't make sense the first time around and it certainly doesn't make sense now but neither did having a DC comics themed coaster back there and look on the bright side - one less superhero (or in this case villain) themed ride in the park. This will finally shut up the incessant "the park is going to remove Bizarro and send it to SFA/Darien Lake/La Ronde" nutjobs RIP best entrance portal in the park. But curious to see what they do here.
  13. I can only assume a press release has gone out as I can't find this on the website but according to Matt who is a very reputable source and admin over at the Great Adventure Connoisseurs group, the park has announced a number of new updates/improvements to the park for 2022, most notably the return of Medusa, a new paint job for Batman, a new entrance marquee on 537, more kiddie rides in the area by JDC, single riders lines being added to Nitro, Toro, Medusa and JDC, a new Fatburger, and much more...
  14. When they see it, they won't believe it. ™
  15. Thoosies are already having absolute meltdowns over the exclusion of Maverick and Vengeance and I'm totally here for it.
  16. Jersey Devil generally has a grouper at the entrance to the station who is directing guests into each seat while the train is moving. When there is an extra seat or two in the rear of the train (due to what you are describing) they'll yell out for a single rider from the standby queue and its usually filled quickly and without issue. Maybe SFMM will design the queue to have an additional single rider line but JDC is not set up that way and it feels like it would be pretty pointless given the set up/procedure they have in place which seems to work out fine when this scenario pops up.
  17. Why would a ride where everyone is a single rider have a single rider line?
  18. Bro, I know you love to swing on Cedar Fairs nutsack but do you seriously believe they'd be willing to sink that kind of money into this ride at this point?
  19. Damn, dude - I never realized you worked for Intamin. You been holding out on us this whole time?
