That’s great to hear! I’ve also been watching from afar since the Koch family took over and I really hope they see continued good results. As someone noted in this thread I agree with family friendly additions and classics like a scrambler you can see them building the foundation for this park to have long term success.

Yes, but it's because you were probably about 5 years old when "Pimp My Ride" was a thing so it's understandable. Thanks for making us feel old. I watched Pimp My Ride all the time when the show originally aired!

I’m really happy with DL’s addition. I’ve seen so much potential in this park and a Sky Screamer along with rebranding back to Six Flags is a good step forward for this park!

Six Flags is killing it with the additions this year! I wasn’t following the rumors of Fiesta Texas very closely but a Giant Discovery is an awesome addition to any park! This in a back to back year with Wonder Woman plus the announcement of year-round operation here just keeps on improving this park!

Seems to be S&S, the catch car used to grab the train looks just like the one on the Chinese S&S coasters. That along with a a compressed air launch which S&S is all about using their compressed air.

This is exactly what I was hoping Great Adventure would get! Black Widow at a Kennywood is such a fun ride and this just stacks on top of Great Adventure’s already awesome collection! The placement in the park is perfect too!

Solid additions for 2019. I usually hit Great America & Great Adventure each year. A new coaster & I love these Giant Discovery’s that Six Flags is adding. I still have never made it out west to Magic Mountain and I now there’s another reason to take a visit there!

West Coast Racers looks like an awesome addition! I still haven’t visited California yet and this gives me more reason to plan a trip!

I agree, my visit to SFNE last year was my first time there but Mind Eraser became my favorite SLC.

I see your point, but if they get a Frisbee then I just want to state that I wholeheartedly approve of it's placement in the Holiday in the Park section of the park. This is the type of thinking I could get behind!

I'm excited for Yukon Striker next season! I visited Canada's Wonderland 2 weeks ago and the size of the tunnel under Vortex is huge! You can count me in for another visit next season.

Please let us know if they let you park in the water park lot. Last year they would not open it till 10:am so i could not get to that gate for early entrance. I believe the parking lot for Cedar Point Shores still won’t open until 10AM, however with the new boardwalk you can park in the main lot and walk back to the resort entrance!

It's a bummer but you for sure won't reliably find an Uber in the Sandusky Area. However I see a company called AM/PM 24/7 Taxi's all around town all the time. I haven't personally taken them, but I've heard they will reliably get you from point A to point B. With that said: This is a very accurate description of what the vehicles in the fleet look like, and probably smell like.

These results turned out fantastic! Every single coaster on both the wood and steel lists are coasters I would seek out to ride. I hope the rankings on the TPR poll are used by the parks for marketing!

Holy hell, dude. Are you... human!? That's legit impressive and has gotta be some kind of record. I've only managed 9 spins on I305 in one day (might have to try and break that if/when I make it down there this coming Saturday), and my record for any coaster is 14 on Fury 325. I sincerely hope your planning to donate your body to science after you die... assuming you actually CAN die at all. Wow... Thanks! as far as rides straight in a row. I've pulled 28 in a row on Ravine Flyer II and 34 in a row on Raptor in 2014 (very slow day for both parks) When I visit parks farther away like KD that's a 7.5 hour drive for me, I always try to get the most out of my trip, for me that's getting in as many rides as I can. I have a handful of friends who don't like going on coaster trips with me because I prefer to basically non-stop ride all day with a quick break for food midday.

Yup, 47! I guess you could say I quite enjoy I305. The Day of that visit in 2017 I only rode Volcano a few times, Dominator a few times, Flight of Fear, Grizzly, and the rest of the day was spent riding I305. I told myself that was going to be my only KD visit for 2017 so I better get these laps in!

I went with a group of 4 opening day. At the end of the day 2 of us thought I305 was the best in the park and 2 of us picked Twisted Timbers. On a side note of multiple I305 rides. Not all of these were straight in a row but opening weekend 2017 I rode I305 47 times in a single day.

Agreed, when me and my group rode Dominator opening day we all commented on how wonderful smooth it was running. We rode multiple times that day. The trim on I305 is in a fixed position. It can’t be turned off.

I got lucky, that was my only ride in the front row that day and he caught it!

The Fast Lane merges right at the grouper, my group had fast lane on Saturday and other than waiting for the front and back rows we only waited 2-3 trains each time we rode.

I got to visit Kings Dominion on Saturday and I gotta say Twisted Timbers is one amazing ride! Once you go through the first drop the ride is relentless all the way to the end! I thought the 3 straight airtime hill were best in the front row, however I thought the rest of the ride was best in the back row. Just like most rides, even watching the POV many times the day before their were still moments that surprised me when I rode! It was also great running into Coasterbill, Boldikus, ElToroRyan, & Lightningloops. Get out to Kings Dominion in 2018 and ride Twisted Timbers! It'll knock your socks off!
