  1. Am I the only one that finds the personification of coasters kinda creepy? Calling Steel Vengeance 'SteVen' is just strange to me...to each their own I suppose... I don't find calling the coaster 'SteVen' weird, as it's just a mashup of the actual name. However, I do find calling a coaster a 'he' or 'she' a tad weird.
  2. I got my first tattoo back in July! I'll post a picture of it when I take a picture of it. It's an orca on my back.
  3. Going: Kings Island Cedar Point Holiday World Kentucky Kingdom Maybe: Six Flags Great America
  4. I truly would love a hyper at the park, but we have one just two hours from the park. I'm not sure what coaster would benefit the park the most. I remember watching a Q&A with Ed that i believe Koaster Kids did. He stated that if he knew a big coaster would improve the parks attendance he would add one right then. He mentioned that Holiday World added Thunderbird and saw a drop in attendance so he won't add a coaster until he thinks it will improve the park.
  5. It doesn't look as weird as you think. I mean they are Converse, they all look the same. It isn't like wearing two different brand of shoes or two different styles. It is like the rails of Joker at Discovery Kingdom and the Joker free fly clones. I don't think it's a big deal if it's for like a pep rally or you're going to a school game. I wouldn't wear them just on a normal school day though haha. Now, let's get back to Holiday World.
  6. I don't think I can say I've ever worn different colored shoes.
  7. That's crazy, it was actually my first time at the park since it reopened.
  8. Wasn't the park supposed to announce 2018/19 additions awhile back? A lot of people are speculating a B&M hyper, and while that would be nice, I don't see it in their budget.
  9. Oops. I honestly didn't know WT was over 200 ft.
  10. On Cedar Point's website it states that SteVen will be the sixth roller coaster to exceed 200 feet in the park. I can only think of five including SteVen. Typo? Click Here
  11. Awesome video! I was there on the first Saturday of the fair, I'm shocked how dead the park was. Most of the rides were walk on, besides T3. T3 was only running one train and we waited a good two hours for front row. The only thing in the park I haven't rode coaster wise is Thunder Run
  12. As for the end of SC being uncomfortable, I couldn't agree more. It was a tad painful as well, but it was bearable. I really did love the drop, but I feel like I would've enjoyed it more had I rode in the back (I rode in the front.) I'm excited to ride Goliath, SteVen, and Lightning Rod mainly because they're all different in some way.
  13. Congratulations! Every subscriber is well deserved!
  14. Awesome! Thank you guys! I definitely plan to ride SteVen next season and Lighting Rod sometime soon, as well as Goliath.
  15. How does Storm Chaser compare to other RMCs? I made it out to the park a few weeks ago and rode it. It was my first RMC and I throughly enjoyed it, but I was wondering how others shape up next to it.
  16. Kentucky Kingdom is technically my "home park" but I don't ever visit. I've gone once since it's re-opened. So I'll count Kings Island as my home park. I generally ride all of the coasters, I avoid the kid rides. I Never ride the flats other than delirium at the park.
  17. I think the general public enjoys the coaster. Maybe this is just in my experience, but I've noticed that the line for MT seems to be shorter than Diamondback or Banshee. I think this may have something to do with the GP's view, the majority thinks bigger is better.
  18. I never thought I'd say this, but Mystic Timbers is my favorite ride in the park. It's so much fun. Its low to the ground for the majority of the ride, all the airtime hills, and the first drop. I also love how the lift hill is slow to start, speeds up, slows down when the speakers tell you not to go in the shed, and then the lift speeds up over the hill.
  19. Heading to the park in a few hours, it looks like the weather is clearing up a bit. I hope everyone has a good day at the park!
  20. I'll be there Saturday. What is Kings Island's policy with rain? The last time I actually went while it was raining was probably 5 years ago. I just don't remember, and it looks to be a rainy weekend in Mason.
