  1. I like both of the coasters and I don't want them to be removed anytime soon. While Vortex gives me a headache every time I ride it, it was my first looper and steel coaster. The park has a lot of places that they could add a new coaster before they remove one. If Vortex or the Bat gets removed anytime soon, I'd say it would be more on the side of mechanic issues than ridership issues.
  2. Awesome TR! Thanks for sharing.
  3. I might make it to Kings Island for HH but I'm not positive. If not I'll be there for Winterfest.
  4. OMFG.... "Why do you feel the need to post such gross, sexual comments constantly? "
  5. RMC Raptors aren't very good with capacity, do you think they'd add one at a park as popular as KI? I can see one easily being placed at a park like MiA or VF. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I think the next coaster will go behind Banshee or in X-Base. I can't see Vortex closing in the next 5-10 years, it's still very popular and the capacity isn't dreadful. I'd see them removing the Bat before Vortex.
  6. I would love a mack in the park, no park near has one.
  7. I was thinking the same thing. If the park gets a dive coaster, it will more than likely be a B&M. I'm not sure what the park could add that would compliment Cedar Point though. Another launched coaster would be nice.
  8. Do you think a hyper will really attract customers? I think its plausible because the GP is attracted to anything big. Then again, KI has a hyper not that far away and they already have Lightning Run which is basically the same thing as a hyper with a shorter lift and more compact layout. I think something like a dive coaster or a floorless coaster would draw in the public. No parks nearby have either of those. Cedar Point is about 5-6 hours from KK.
  9. Ed said this? It sucks if it's true because I have yet to ride enterprise and I was looking forward to it next season. It seems odd that they'd remove it, as it seems like one of their most popular flats. As for 2019, I'm hoping for a coaster that tall. If not a coaster, a tall drop tower would be nice although they already have Fear Fall so it wouldn't make much sense.
  10. I noticed that, I thought it was neat.
  11. I literally felt a drop in my stomach looking at that.
  12. A man can dream, but I don't think a giga will happen. It's just not necessary with as well rounded of a line-up the park has. In that case, what type of coaster do you think the park will add next? I'd be content with a giga or dive coaster. I guess it's possible for them to add an RMC, although Mystic Timbers was just added and the GP might just view that as another wooden coaster.
  13. If I remember correctly it was 14, but don't hold me to that because I could be off.
  14. I could not find any pictures from the same angle, although I did find some of the original lift structure that easily shows the growth. All of this can be found from a simple Google search.
  15. That would be cool! Cedar Fair seems to be investing a lot of money into this park, but I'm certainly not complaining. I hope to see a giga in the next 3 years.
  16. When I went they had all of the coasters running two trains other than T3 and Thunder Run.
  17. Do you guys think KK is really profitable to Ed? I remember seeing him say something about the majority of the guests are season pass holders in an interview.
  18. ^ I've always found haunt to be the most crazy time of the year, IMO. It's not bad in the mornings but it gets crazy by nightfall.
  19. Typically I see gum stuck to things or sharpie graffiti, but I can't say that I've ever seen someone peel paint off the wall. Weird.
  20. I definitely agree. I'm a gold pass holder so I plan to check it out. Maybe if this year is a success they'll have more rides open next year.
  21. It's honestly not that big of a deal. It's $1, that is all. I easily spend 50x that on lockers at Kings Island each season, if not more. While it would be nice to have bins in the station for free, that doesn't gain profit for the park. I'd much rather pay $1 for a locker than $900 for a new phone.
  22. Do you guys think that Winterfest will really have that huge of a turn out?
