Park is very crowded now, Green Lantern almost has a full queue and try have an overflow queue setup. Superman looks to be around 45 minutes. The lot isnt that full but there a ton of buses. I wasn't even in line for 2 minutes before getting cut by a group of kids (waiting for Blackbeards since it is only a 2 cycle wait)

I'm not sure, I know on May 6th, there were at least 30 buses for Physics Day but it wasn't crowded since the park was only open for them (the park was open at 5 for Passholders for Coasters After Dark). Since it is the last Physics Day it may not be as many kids. I would wait to see how crowded it is before deciding to get a Flashpass or not.

Physics Day, lots of school kids during the day. Plus the park is open until 10 and is normally only open until 8 on Friday's so it will probably be crowded since they likely wouldn't stay open later unless they anticipate larger crowds. I could be wrong though since I figured it would be dead today and it sounds like it was the total opposite of that.

PHOTO TR: Cedarpoint opening day 2011

It was removed at the end of 2009 and is now at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA -
There are banners all over the fort, and banners and ads in the station. There were 2 sets of old photographs with captions about traveling to the West in the queue. One set of them was removed for the banner. I know it's not the greatest picture of the train, I tried to take a picture quickly before someone said something about having a camera out in the station (that I have seen happen to others even though I always keep the phone in a zippered pocket while on the rides).

Moreys Piers Discussion Thread
YoshiFan replied to LcHg5265's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Individual rides are expensive, the major coasters are over $7 per ride each and the smaller coasters are around $4.50 - $5.40 each and 1 ride on each of the 6 coasters is going to be around $35 - $38. I'd go with the wristband unless you don't have a lot of time. Atmosfear is a great drop tower and if you like log flumes, Morey's is my favorite after Splash Mountain. It's a very long flume with 2 drops and a small dark ride section. -
Best American B&M Inverted coaster
YoshiFan replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have only ridden 5 B&M inverted coasters and I would rank them like this: 1. Talon 2. Dueling Dragons Fire 3. Dueling Dragons Ice 4. Great Bear 5. Batman The Ride (Great Adventure) -

Six Flags raises parking fees.

I didn't realize they changed that, it was always that flip flops and sandals or any shoes without a back could be left in the station. -
The park was dead today, I was expecting that though since I didn't think most people go to parks on Easter and visit with family and friends. Amazing weather too, sunny and around 80 out. Maybe the forecast of thunderstorms also kept people away. Most rides were walk ons or a very short wait. Kingda Ka was 5 - 10 minutes, Bizarro was a 2 train wait even Superman was a walk on. Nitro was the exception and about an hour wait when I left the park a little after 4:00 (I didn't wait but the line was a little past the 60 minute sign and I heard those signs are accurate when only 1 train is running) but that was because they were only running 1 train, I had ridden earlier in the day with 2 trains running and got 3 rides with no wait.

The Boomerang Challenge
YoshiFan replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have ridden 3 Boomerang coasters Sidewinder at Hershey Sea Serpent at Morey's Zoomerang at Lake Compounce I found Sidewinder to be the worst (hopefully the new trains will improve the ride), Zoomerang to be ok and Sea Serpent to be the best of the 3 and not that rough at all. Also 1 Invertigo, Stinger at Dorney. -

^ The coaster will be open on the 21st It's really awesome of SF to have Green Lantern open just for passholders. It will probably be one of the few times all season it will either be a walk on or a very short wait, especially the Thursday and Friday since even though there will be school trips there, I doubt most kids on their trips will be passholders. How many complaints is SF going to get from non passholders? I can see people getting angry just like at Disney how people staying offsite get angry when they try to go to an attraction during extra magic hours and get annoyed that they aren't allowed to. Regardless, I hope they don't get so many complaints that they stop doing this since I think it is great to reward those who have season passes with ERT.
