Yea that sounds like the slower train. On the other train I was riding with my jacket on and the strings were just smacking my eyes at the crazy ending airtime marathon as I call it. With that ride on the better train I would rank it higher than any of the rides at cedar point still outlaw run is my favorite

Yes I do agree. I think it was two seasons ago that it was down for all but the last week of operation there at worlds of fun. Also if they do sometime remove timberwolf I think it should be replaced by the chance hyper lite. They look really intense like lightning run at Kentucky kingdom. Also I think it would be cool to ride a coaster made in my town because chance is located in Wichita kansas You guys have Mamba. The only way you would probably get a Hyper-Lite is if it was a 300ft attraction. I see what you are saying but hyper lites are never any taller than 120-150.

Sad to see your experience on prowler wasn't that good. All I remember from last year is that one of the trains runs slower than the other. I think it is the green train. But when you ride the fast train boy that coaster screams!

Ah here's mine. You guys probably think its weird ranking timberwolf high. But i kind of have a way to ignore the roughness, we'll actually I think it is smoother this year than previous years. Americas tallest water slide.... wow something bigger is coming than the one schlitterbahn is building already? We'll I hear this slide is 121 ft tall. Schlitterbahn kc's verruct is planned to be 180 ft tall. So I'm not quit sure what they were thinking but maybe the didn't know about schlitterbahn

Since I just saw that freestyle parks led zeppelin b&m looper is for sale I think it would be a great addition to the park

How rough was it

I would so pick SDC. SDC has extremely unique rides and most rollercoasters there rank high in most coaster polls. Outlaw run is just hands down amazing and the food here is great. I also love the cave tour. The theming is also very detailed. Just look at powder keg. So SDC it is for me

Has anyone noticed how loud outlaw run is getting. It has that sort of tire screeching when it has airtime and now it screams on turns. Does anyone know why it is doing this

What happens exactly is on one of the raven turns (I believe it's the second one) the forces from the first half of the turn send your legs out away from the car (so they're straight) and then the second half of the turn forces your legs to come back abruptly and your calves slam against the car. The forces are so strong that I have not been able to prevent it no matter how I try to hold my legs. Some ankle restraints like Tatsu has would be perfect. Supposedly it doesnt do this as much when you ride on the inside, and even less so if you have a heavy person on the outside, but every time I've ridden it in the last few years I end up being on the outside with no one on the inside which is the worst way to ride. A lot of the restraints on the inside are broken and don't go up high enough for us taller folks. Oh and do they let you choose what car of the train you sit in?

Wha do you mean by leg smashing. I think I know but just want to make sure.

Can you describe the roughness on x2 Is it like old wooden coaster rough or is it like minor jolts and bounces here and there

They claim to be 95% done. However, it was in 2007-2008 when NL2 was first announced to be in production, so I have no clue how long that last 5% will take. They say on nolimits coaster.de that it will be out after the beginning of November and they are doing some final touches. So it will for sure be coming out this year.

A little question for you guys. Would you rather timberwolf get topper track but keep The same layout or change it to a new iron horse track layout?

I am going to guess that if they are broken, SFMM probably won't waste the money in trying to repair them. If by special effects, you mean the fog and fire, then the fire still works, although they turn it off when it's too windy. I haven't seen the fog working in quite some time, although it's definitely possible that it's just been too breezy when I've been there for it to be visible. My most recent ride on X2 was in July and the fire was working, so I would assume that this will be the case when it reopens. As others have stated, the on-board audio is spotty at best. I was mainly thinking about the on board audio

We are thinking about going to sfmm next year and we are coming from Kansas and does anyone expect x2 special effects to be working because they are really cool
