I can se that, but what I was meaning by that is not the worst invert I have been on. It is my second favorite, but let's get off the topic of people who want to criticize other for their love of some inverts and I will ask did anyone see if those rumored rebuilds of timberwolf were ever made. -

Yes I agree. It really isn't as bad as everyone else says it is. I think they just say that because they fanboy the parks with older inverts and we are smaller and newer. They only say that cause they want more parks under the superior reign of the big ones like cp and sfmm. -

I agree about patriot. Yes it is sometimes isnt that forceful, but they really exaggerate that fact. The only really force less parts are the exit of the zero g roll and the hill over that station. The rest is pretty fair. I honestly prefers this over raptor, because it I smoother, better designed(transitions), has airtime, I know you didn't see that coming, a perfect zero g roll, an amazingly forceful corkscrew and helix combo, and topped of with an American theme. That is all I need for a good coaster. -

Nice photo. Really shows the height difference between mamba detonator and steel hawk -
I would say very front. The sensation of speed is higher, nothing blocking your view which means it is terrifying to look over the drop, it seems to be a tiny bit smoother in the front not that outlaw run is rough you just feel the track segments less. Best way to ride is hands up all the way through, not much if a technique to do because of the shin bar.

Has anyone seen if steel hawk has begun testing. -
They announce to everyone to buckle your seatbelt and leave the restraint up once you sit down. They walk around and make sure the belts are secured, and then they tell everyone to lower their restraints. Once they check the restraints, they dispatch the train. They have been stacking trains due to the fact that people keep pulling the restraints down before the seatbelts are checked. Dear god that's sounds annoying. But I don't thnk the longer dispatch times bother me that much because outlaw run dispatched really fast unless there were a crying girl or someone who couldn't fit.

I can't wait till I get to go. We get season passes there and usually go right after my School year ends. I will try and make a Photo report when I go. It will bug me since once I get out of school we go straight to SDC and on our way back home we go here. We have to drive by it which will make me want to try out steelhawk -

No, Cedar Fair has done a good job of keeping it a secret that Steel Hawk is from Knott's. The GP is too stupid to look it up, and I've only seen one news article on the topic. Yes, I went around my school asking people if they new where and steelhawk came from and what happened at its last location. No one knew anything about it. Most of the people I asked have been to wof, considering it is just a short two hour dive up north east from my home town of Wichita ks. -

I honestly must be the only one who didn't like the colors at knotts. It didn't seem right for a ride themed around flying in the air. I am very glad will be painted like the other windseekers . The colors were perfect for Knott's as it fit well in the Fiesta Village area. Plus, it looked really good in person. Good point but it just wouldn't fit in an AMERICAN section of the park. It actually fit in really really well in knotts -

We'll if it is a Saturday you should expect a relatively large crowd with average wait times around an hour or more. And yes you should get fastlane -
Guess this coaster (by the sound)
Jaykethekid replied to rcjp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think what gave it away was the extreme rattling and the sound of the double trim brake on the drop -
