Again, they really won't get anything like fire chaser express. Well reasonably. They already have powder keg. Which is a good launched family coaster. I mean it is a big step up above fire chaser in terms of intensity and ride experience, but I don't see anything coming like that. I mean it would be cool to have an euro fighter using the tower, but the capacity would be way to low. I thing a really good addition to the park would be a BM hyper or giga. But it would be very hard to blend it in the the terrain and surroundings

I know you didn't say you hated it. I was speaking in general about hpthe tpr community. Also the only reason I said intamin was dropped is because earlier discussions about new rides when I said something about intamin I'd get bombarded by a bunch of people saying intamin was dropped. -

Patriot and mamba mediocre? They are some of the best coasters in the region. They aren't amazing but they aren't terrible. Besides worlds of fun isn't a bad park at all( I known that has nothing to do with your comment). It has a feel or charm to it that none of the CF parks I have been to have. I feel the hate towards this park and other smaller parks are a bandwagon of people saying "it's not cedar point so it sucks" same with the coasters like patriot because it's not raptors just expressing my thoughts on this. If it in some way offends you , tough. Sorry I mean the park does disappoint me compared to others, but I'm glad we have what we have -

Cedar fair dropped intamin quite a while back. Besides they are way too expensive for the size of worlds of fun.. What I think would be cool for worlds of fun, is anything tall and blue. Steelhawk just looks so great around the other colors of worldsof fun. Anyways. I think a wingriders would be good. Not great. Something great would be a giga. But we will just have to wait for a real long time to see what their getting. -

That's what I was thinking too. Although it may be very low cost for a reason ^That would be fantastic!! Although, seeing as this is WOF, they only get rides like Steel Hawk... CF needs to do something to WOF to liven it up more, and to bring more guests to the park. I still feel a BM giga would be a perfect fit for the park, they don't have any of what the GP call terrifying rides. They also need a ride that puts them on the map. Just think of carowinds, they didn't have much if a good lineup of rides then they added intimidator then fury.mthats why I have hope for something big in the next couple of years for here. -

Personally if you aks me, it will be a coaster. Steelhawk isn't popular with the crowds and they haven't had a new one since prowler. They need a launched coaster, but I'll take anything with airtime! -

I honestly don't understand all the hate for this project. Come on! The ride has an extremly twisty and intense first section. A turnaround with sideways airtime into a tunnel. Then it Has three more spots of airtime after that. Don't forget the air on the lift hill. I feel the hate towards BM is a bandwagon. I don't find them forceless. People just say that because they aren't pulling six gs causing people to black out like intamins psychotic i305. No matter what I say, the bandwagon won't stop. I am a BM fan if ya couldn't tell . So overall I expect this ride to be amazing. If it's not it's certainly going to be awesome! -
Worst ride "neuters"
Jaykethekid replied to GigaG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I forgot to mention one up there. Triple twist at great wolf lodge in kc. When the ride opened they allowed single tubes and the second funnel had a big drop into it. Yea some people flipped, and that's not good. But now, it's a slow helix into no drop at all.. The helix actually went down to far so at the bottom of it water accumulated and slows you down even more. -

Surprised no one has said mamba. From what I have heard, it did not use the mcbr at all the first year it opened. I can't imagine how awesome the last five hill would be. From what I have noticed mamba operates the best on cold days. The brakes are much lighter and offer holy crap airtime. So go either at the start of the season or at the end. The other day we went it was about 85 and it offered absolute zero g airtime. It lifted off your seat but didn't touch the lap bar. Yes mamba is the most underrated coaster I have been on! -

Ya timberwolf does have crazy airtime, but that's pretty much the only reason why I want to ride it. Prowler was great for my visit. It was smooth, and it did a lot of lifting me off my seat so it stays in my rankings where it is at right now -

Ok so timber wolf is not anybit smoother overall. The twist into the helix is better but still bad. It's the roughest it's been all year -

That could be true. But it can't be a lot more maybe 10 or12 million if that isn't including installation. I mean it could be more if the ride were to be heavily themed. But I doubt it would unless it was going to a Disney park or SDC/dollywood. -

Yea the land by wildcat where eruption was is perfect for something like this. There is a que line area already and there is a ton of open space! -

Exactly like I said up there. 7 million isn't crazy for a new coaster. Windseekers cost 6 million and I'm sure this is way better! -

Also more things that make me think that frontier city will get it is that it's not crazy intense or scary of a ride. At least by the way it looks. That's kind of how premier and cnl have been thinking a while. I'm sure they have heard our cries about how there is not really any major ride there besides silver bullet. Also note that if it's towards the east side it will be visually attractive and draw crowds from the views off the highway. Also 7 million dollars is pretty low to average for a coaster. It's not like they will spend 20 million on a decent sized BM or intamin -
