From what I've read this is the second lift. So I'm assuming there's one elevator lift and then this tire driven lift.

I was wondering that myself.

True. I'm hoping they get some more track placed today, or at least some supports for the lift hill. They are currently unloading what looks like supports for the lift hill in the parking lot the lift hill track is sitting in.

Looks like they are staying low with construction for a while. Looks like today they will be installing the bottom of the first drop. (Also, some neat photos I don't think we have seen yet.) Source. The bottom of the first drop looks to be going in place.

I'm adding Backlot Stunt Coaster to my list of underrated coasters. For a "family" coaster this ride packs a punch. The launch is nice, but the upwards turns after the launch provide some really nice g-forces. The layout is fun. The slight theming is nice. . . We were greatly surprised by this coaster on our previous visit to Kings Island. It turned out to be one of our favorites in the park.

I feel like Silver Dollar City is for the most part very underrated. Most people (aside from some coaster enthusiast) basically have no idea SDC even exist, and those who do know it exist don't think it is "that great" of a park. When it is truly a hidden gem. The park is amazing. The theming throughout the park is amazing. The rides are amazing. The layout of the park is great. The use of terrain is great... I could go on forever. But since it's not a major Six Flags park, or Cedar Fair park most people don't even pay attention to the park. Which is sad because they are missing out on a really great park.

No one ever wanted to buy another RMC coaster again... So RMC went bankrupt and all existing RMC coasters were torn down which resulted in....

^ The crane they have now could easily construct at least half the lift hill. They could get that out of the way while waiting on the next crane... if that really is the situation. However today I watched them truck in some new pieces to the site, and place them on the ground in random places. It looks like they are going to be constructing some more "low zone" areas soon... Which might even more supports your statement.

I knew I had started a topic like this before!!! Granted mine isn't the same... But it's pretty damn close!!

Well... No more lift hill construction today. ...Maybe next week though!!
