  1. I really wish Cedar Point would release the VIP Tours for this year. I'm ready to book our vacation!! The website just keeps saying "Come back soon for more information." Or something like that.
  2. I am completely okay with that! Nothing wrong with taking a good ride, smoothing it out, and making it into a great ride!!
  3. And you don't provide a screenshot? You're welcome.
  4. This shot looks absolutely amazing. This by far may be the best B&M Flying coaster ever built!!
  5. I'm not mad that someone may or may not have connections that I don't have. Well if that's the case, I'm going to start saying that I have sources at every park and my sources say the park is getting a 2,000 ft tall, launched, RMC, inverted, polar coaster... and when it doesn't happen I'm just going to say "Oh well, things change all the time in the amusement industry."
  6. FL(+) can't compare to the personalized experience of a VIP Tour. Not to mention even with FL(+) you still get stuck waiting in lines. I'm much happier just picking what ride we want to ride, being taken up the exit, and sat down on the ride. . . Avoiding any lines, and avoiding the majority of the GP who, for the most part, annoys the hell out of me.
  7. Personally I am not a huge fan of Mean Streak, meaning I don't love it, nor do I hate it. On the other hand my partner really enjoys Mean Streak so we ride it at least 4-5 times every visit. Thankfully we book a VIP Tour so we avoid the lines, so it doesn't cut into our time on other attractions.
  8. Awesome photos. It's neat to see how simple the underside of the Rotor ride is. Frontier City seems to be heading in the right direction the past few years. Now if they could just manage to get a some what major attraction like a decent sized coaster, or a large drop tower then they would really have something going for them!! Can't wait to see what the future holds for this park.
  9. And it's not just here in the SDC thread. If you take a look at some of his other post in other threads it's about the same. He talks like he runs the parks and knows what's going on "behind the scenes" of every park. (With no credibility.) Examples: From the WOF Thread: From the VF thread: I could go on like this all day, but I have to get to class. However, people in the other threads also get annoyed at him acting, and posting like he knows everything going on at every park, again, with no credibility. Do like I'm learning to do and just ignore his post.
  10. Looks like we will just have to wait and see.
  11. Can you please explain to me how a B&M Flying coaster is "So far out in left field?" Maybe a launched B&M Flying coaster is a bit of a reach, but some one is going to have to do it eventually, so why not SDC? We are ALL speculating about what could be the next coaster at SDC, and I don't for one second see why a B&M Flying coaster is by any means unrealistic. (Aside from maybe the launched idea.) You want to talk about left field... I don't think anyone ever expected SDC to get a coaster like Outlaw Run before it was leaked/rumored/announced. I mean, a wooden coaster, that goes upside down 3 times??? That's so far out in left field. Also, if you "grow tired of speculation..." Then why are you the one who brought it up to begin with?? After all you were the one who said: You are talking like this is going to be some world record breaking, amazing addition that everyone in the world should drop everything they are doing to go visit. If you are going to create hype like that, then don't get annoyed when people start speculating about things that might be a little different than what any park out there already has.
  12. This is what I was thinking. Maybe they mean the steepest "traditional" style, non-vertical lift hill. (Obviously including cable lifts in this "traditional" category.)
  13. I count 6 minimum After rewatching the POV and re-riding the coaster in my mind I can come up with 8 spots that I know have airtime, and two places that I am about 98% positive have airtime. That's a little bit more than 3. I still vote for a B&M flyer. Very heavily themed! Maybe... a LAUNCHED B&M Flyer! (Though, I doubt it would be launched having Powder Puff near by and all.)
  14. I love how banked that turn is towards the top! Can't wait to see how this rides!!
  15. AKA: A super long, drawn out pull out, and pull up with will cause the coaster to be absolutely forceless. . .
  16. I really don't see a B&M. Hyper coaster fitting in at SDC (of course I could be wrong). . . But while we are talking about wants. . . I just want a 25,000 ft long 2,000mph, launched, inverted, Intamin, aqua trax, polar coaster, with 1,984.6 inversions. All completed in a modest 45 minutes of ride time.
  17. From my understanding it's still there. If you look in the screenshots posted from the webcam you can still see the concrete "track" for the car ride. Look near the base of the first Inversion of Valravn and you should be able to see it!
  18. Just in case anyone has missed it, there have been two new pieces of track headed into the MCBR lifted into place.
  19. I'm not psychic or anything... but I bet it's going to look something like this: .... Just with a few more people on the midways.
  20. I really wouldn't consider Powderkeg a "short" coaster. And wildfire is a decent length. Have you been on Outlaw Run?? That coaster is all about airtime. You spend more time out of your seat than you spend in your seat.
