That's sad, because it really is a fun ride!!
Speaking of KD. . .
I'll add Flight Of Fear to my list of "missed credits." It was closed when I was at KD which was a little disappointing because I was really hoping to get to ride it to see how/if it differs from the one at KI!
Super jealous of everyone getting to ride this coaster today!! It looks amazing!! Congrats to those who are getting to experience it!! I can't wait to get up there later this season to try it out!!
Or, he could have clicked on the link on TPR's homepage, and it would have taken him straight to the post about the technical rehearsal. No need to even try to sift through the "useless post". . . It would have taken him straight to where he wanted to be.
Maybe because not everyone is the same?? Some people like things that other people don't necessarily like. . . Just like some people may not like things that everyone else seems to like.
Kind of like how you "hate" Magnum yet I really enjoy Magnum (as do many other people.)
Again, it's called "being different."

Just showed my partner the video of the launch!
He got excited, and asked me:
"Will Lighting Rod be our first launched wooden coaster together?!?!" (He knows there are no other launched wooden coasters in the world)
I said "Yes, yes it will be..."
He responded with "No it wont... Hashtag It'll Never Open."
I quit this day... Where's the vodka?!
My first visit to BGW it was raining the entire day, and there were some parts of the day where the rain was actually pretty heavy! (More than just a sprinkle.) Still managed to ride everything in the park! So I get to add:
Tempesto
Alpengeist
Apollo's Chariot
Griffon
Loch Ness Monster
-and-
Verbolten
To my list of coasters I have been on in the rain!! Out of all of them I think Apollo's Chariot was the worst of all in terms of pain from the rain. I sat in the front and spent the entire time covering my face because the rain hurt so bad!!

. . . . . . . .
And we thought the Smiler accident was bad. . . I can't imagine a TTD rollback slamming into the train behind it. (Not that it could happen.)
Well, if you click on the link to the video you will see that Kolmarden posted that the video was "Published on May 19, 2016." So it is possible that it is an old POV that they just re-posted, but it has at least been recently posted.
I know that TTD (and I am about 99% sure Maverick is the same way) does not "test" for rollbacks during pre-opening procedures. Sometimes rollbacks happen during testing, and sometimes they don't... but they do not purposely test for a rollback. There is no real way to test for a rollback aside from e-stopping the train mid launch
