The main structure may be up, but there's still a ways to go. Most of the groundwork around the ride is nowhere complete, and most importantly, the actual vehicle disk isn't even in place on the arm yet. If I had to guess on an opening time frame, I'd estimate the end of the month. i've seen images with the seats installed yesterday. but yeah, definitely a lot to do still. more concrete!

The website has been updated and Desperado is open 5 days a week. When I drove past Buffalo Bill’s over the weekend, Turbo Drop has been dismantled. Wonder what happened to it or if it was scrapped. That version was the prototype, sad to see it gone as it was one of the most forceful!! i thought it's been gone for years, no? i liked when they had the camera at the top.

I would hardly call these the parks marquee rides. To be far those are TC, X2, Tatsu, Goliath, YOLOcoaster, and Superman. I would say that the rest of the roller coasters support those. If one of those 6 were down for any length of time during peak season, that would be an issue. goliath is looking at you.

when i added funpix this year, they gave me a new card with the qr code instead of the old bar code. i heard others having their cards replaced with the drink plan. not sure if that had something to do with your photos not working or not. i did get my new card at the same park i bought it at though, knott's.

I thought Ghost Rider was down for maintenance until the 25th? It's still listed as closed on the park's website. i'd read that it opened Friday, and that it would be open for the weekend on a facebook group.

The only project moving at a slower pace is the construction on I-5 near the park. i totally screwed up driving there and was stuck on the wrong side where the north bound splits and had to drive right past the park, then, turn around when i could exit. LOL also in burbank, they've been seemingly working on the 5 for years. since i basically almost never see the park from the south bound 5, i forget how cool the park look from that side.

cancelled now. Drove from Ventura and was told here at the gate its was cancelled. Spoke to marketing manager and said sorry and that email was sent late last night. Advise him that I was asleep because I had the get up early. So pissed right now. As I was sitting in car typing this email. He came and knocked on my window. He said Fox11 is looking for people and wants me in the shoot. I guess I will get my chance to ride Hangtime today. that’s cool, all is not lost.

TC opened with the park when I was there last Tuesday. Apoc and Justice League were closed in the morning but opened up in the afternoon. Revolution and Green Lantern were closed all day though. ah, maybe they just rotate late openings. hour to go. Apocalypse is still running their octagonal wheels on train 2 back car.

has TC always opened late these weekdays or am i just the lucky one waiting until 3pm?

Oh man I had no idea there was a Porto's nearby, I love that place! Thanks for the heads up yeah, depending on when you got, Porto's has it's own queue line outside. lol i just got an email today from Portillo's stating they have extended their hours. drive thru now open until at least midnight every day. so many times it's been just past 11 and i've wanted to eat there.

Knott's added some blue shading over the benches against the water across from Hangtime. I always liked they had all that seating there but it was right out in the open with no shade at all. So that's a nice touch since there may be more people sitting there watching or waiting for Hangtime.

you never know, but i don't think it's been open at all this week. i kind of thought it would be, but, haven't seen it open glancing at the webcam a couple times a day this week.

i saw a couple pics of the on ride photo that was this weekend. looks like they fixed the angle so it's not so much a side shot. you now get full view of both riders in the row.
