  1. 1. Invert 2. Flying 3. Dive 4. Hyper 5. Sit-Down/Floorless 6. Stand-Up Haven't been on a wing-rider yet, and I feel like I will be banished by putting flying and dives in front of hyper.
  2. Batman at SFGA - It got ridiculously hot in the "sewer themed" queue and people were pushing into the station. Just looked bad all around.
  3. Nitro- I don't hate it, but I didn't find it all that amazing. I like Apollo's Chariot quite a bit more, but I am just not a huge fan of B&M hypers in general.
  4. At the top of Griffon: "You can see the Virginia Ocean from here!" -_-
  5. This post should be "Most heavily themed park (besides Disney)" lol. WDW for me but besides Disney, Busch Gardens Williamsburg. No question
  6. Hmmm . . 1. El Toro (as always . . ) 2. Skyrush 3. I305
  7. Of the ones I have been to . . . Cedar Fair: i305 Six Flags: El Toro SeaWorld Entertainment: Griffon Universal: Hollywood RRR Disney Parks: Space Mountain MK
  8. i305 and Alpengeist (surprisingly) . . . coming out of the vertical loop and through the cobra roll. Virginia FTW
  9. 1. El Toro 2. Space Mountain (WDW) 3. Maverick 4. Skyrush 5. Intimidator 305 6. Millenium Force 7. Storm Runner 8. Griffon 9. Grizzly (KD) 10. Verbolten The top 5 change with my mood lol
  10. How about The Smiler. . . I still have no idea wtf is going on with the theme. It looks like a car wash fused with a mall photobooth.
  11. Having been on many launch coasters, Intamin is by far my favorite. I always have preferred hydraulic launches to LSM. That being said, LSM is definitely more reliable and will probably start to phase the hydraulic out as the technology becomes more advanced. I really miss good ol' Hypersonic XLC, though. That was an insane launch- I have never been on any other Compressed Air launches though so I can't really give too much input on them.
  12. I heard Mt. Olympus is converting Little Titans to Little Titans 360. It will have an extra barrel roll, airtime hill, and diaper changing area.
  13. Both of the Busch Gardens seem like they have the best "old school" B&Ms - Montu and Kumba, Alpengeist and Apollo's Chariot. SheiKra and Griffon seem to be "new school" favorites as well.
  14. It almost seems like they're hiding it. I'm still checking around, though. I know, you would think if it was record-breaking they'd shout it all over as well. . .
  15. Fahrenheit- Moves like it is 0 degrees Kelvin.
  16. Alpengeist had a good run . . . by far my fav invert.
  17. It seems like the bottom line is yes, the Skyrush restraints hurt but it is still a good ride. The excuse of "if you sit forward" or do this or that supports this statement because you shouldn't have to cheat the harness system or sit in a certain way to fully enjoy the ride. Like I said before, I jumped in El Toro and didn't adjust squat and it was extremely comfortable. Maverick didn't give me any problems. Intimidator was fine for me even before the restraint adjustment. But this? Not good restraints on a ride that could be great.
  18. I just got back from my first Hershey trip! I didn't take too many pics because I just wanted to go and experience as much as I could in a day and I had a very good time. A quick rundown- Top Coasters- 1. Storm Runner 2. Skyrush 3. Lightning Racer 4. Fahrenheit 5. Superdooperlooper Biggest Surprise- Superdooperlooper. . . that thing was smooth and a great underrated ride. Biggest Disappointment- Great Bear- I am a B&M Invert fan and it looked promising, but didn't even compare to Alpengeist and Raptor for me. I was kind of sad . . Since everyone is on the subject of the Skyrush harnesses, I will say I think it did take away from the ride. It was a great ride no doubt, but riding El Toro the next day really put in perspective how comfortable ejector airtime can be. I disagree that Maverick is worse; I had no issues with the Mav harnesses at all, actually. Skyrush is a great coaster but could be soooo much better.
  19. Awesome, thanks a lot! Hopefully the weather will hold out . . .
  20. Thanks Ty, I appreciate it! I am really looking forward to Skyrush because I am an El Toro fanboy and have not been on much that has that kind of ejector airtime How do you think Skyrush compares? Also, do you have a top 5 for Hershey?
  21. Hey everyone, I am going to Hershey for the first time this coming Monday. The weather is looking pretty good but it is still a few days out . . . any ideas about the crowds? Also, if I am arriving at noon, is there a best way to attack the park? (not literally attack . . .) I am so pumped for Skyrush and Storm Runner!
  22. Top 5 Steel- 1. Bizarro SFNE 2. New Texas Giant 3. Skyrush 4. X2 5. Intamin Megalite Top 5 Wood- 1. Balder 2. The Voyage 3. Phoenix 4. Boulder Dash 5. Hades 360 Top 5 Other Rides- 1. Falcon's Fury (when it arrives!) 2. Lex Luther's Drop of Doom 3. Harry Potter ATFJ 4. MaXair 5.Texas Sky Screamer
  23. Space Mountain in Orlando . . . it is a top 10 coaster for me. I can't explain exactly why, but it is just amazing. I really hope they do not do any renovations and turn it into some modern launch Space Mountain Mission 999 or something . . . Verbolten is probably second with The Mummy third.
