30 rides on Mystery Mine in 1 day. They had to shut it down cause it got so cold though. This was in 2009.

Alaska is beautiful, looks like a fantastic place to visit. Was the ship near full capacity?

They only have 2 outside of Asia, so I would expect for them to stay outside of North America especially after all the trouble at IAAPA last year.

Maybe another version of Cedar Point's Gatekeeper. Not neccesarily a B&M Wing Coaster, but something that redefines the front gate/plaza area.

I feel like this is a reactionary procedure put into place, not a proactive measure that would actually prevent an accident from happening. Really frustrates me when parks do things like this. Here's an idea - instead of making your employees do silly things on a ride platform to give an illusion of being safer, how about just ensuring they do their jobs really well...the same job ride operators have been doing for DECADES that have kept hundreds of millions of riders alive. --Robb On Thunder Road at Carowinds, they have been doing the mulitple visual scans since the beginning of the season.

I really did enjoy the launch on Volcano, but I found it average after that. I realky want to see Intamin evolve that coaster type, as I could see it being a big hit at a park like Carowinds which lacks a launch coaster. I guess it's with me only having ridden 106 coasters. You having been on over 1,500 coaster know which are the best and which aren't. Thanks, I'd live to be able to get my coaster count up to the status that yours is one day!

I agree about the layout, but Volcano isn't very unique either. I enjoyed the launch, but the rest was average. I love the Dive Machine first drops though, very intense!

I agree with this list. I think Batwing would be at the bottom of everyone's list. I did like Griffon more than Volcano though.

Boo Blasters is one of my favorites as well, Great fun when it's a hot day! I love Intimidator and Afterburn as well, and also like Thunder Road, it's been better than ever because of the GCI retracking. The flyers are gear as well. I am really excited for the future of the park. After two "meh" additions to the park, I am ready for a great new flat ride or coaster. I really would like to see a Premier or Intamin launched coaster, as I feel that would help round out our coaster collection. I look forward to discussing Carowinds with you in the future!

Did we ever get a price on YOLOcoaster? I imagine it was quite a bit more the Superman at Discovery Kingdom (6 million), but I really have no idea. I know everyone is really psyched about Iron Colossus (if it happens I'll be too), but has there been any indication of anything, or is it just pure speculation? If I can recall I remember reading 6 million $ How do you know about YOLOcoaster's cost? I read it in an article. I never said that was for sure though.
